The White Hart in Kettering

There are so many pubs /restaurants in and around The Cotswolds but The White Hart in Ashton Keynes a few miles from Cirencester is a gem and one I am so lucky to have discovered . The warmest of welcomes and an atmosphere that made me feel extremely happy. We opted after a pint of excellent bitter to have Lunch ,a decision we will never regret . The Specials were exceptional ! Mahi Mahi their Market fish was superb and one of my friends raved about his Pot of the Day , Chicken and Mushroom Pie. The Butchers Faggots were hilarious ( trip of sausages/vegan sausage with yummy mash and red onion gravy) It was a great lunch and discovering The White Hart has made our run up to Christmas most joyful !!! We will be back for sure . Ashton Keynes we are on our way!!!

We adore this quaint village pub and is always at the top of our list when we venture out for Sunday lunch. The food never fails to be less than perfect, the staff are fantastic and can not do enough to ensure a 5 star experience. Guaranteed to be made welcome and feel relaxed whilst enjoying excellent food every time. Keep up the amazing work team!

Un descubrimiento agradable en un pueblo guapo poco a pocas millas de Cirencester. La cálida bienvenida de un propietario de pub verdaderamente acogedor seguido por dos pintas de excelente cerveza local, conversaciones con gente jovial que obviamente me encanta su pub a pedazos, haciéndonos sentir como compañeros no perdía un par de londinenses perdido! ! Nuestro almuerzo fue excepcionalmente buena. Pub grub real que no se puede criticar. Entendimos que habíamos perdido su Curry noche pero el almuerzo fue excelente relación calidad-precio, delicioso y nos hizo darnos cuenta de que no tienes que encontrar posey frightfully Gastro Pubs twee Cotswolds cuando tienes el White Hart que nunca nos hemos encontrado no dieron totalmente perdidos! ! Y volveremos! ! ! ! ! !

Warm, clean, good beer and excellent evening meal. Kept the 7 of us (blokes) content from 30th Sept to 2nd Oct. Well worth a viist especially if walking the thames path - not more than a 100 yard deviation when in the village.

It was a warm and friendly welcome, and even though it was 3 minutes to kitchen closing time we were able to have delicious, hot, light bite. The pub is very convenient for people doing the Thames Path as it is halfway between the source and Cricklade. Ashton Keynes is a lovely village on the edge of Cotswold Water Park, with the River Thames, (a stream at this point) just over the road from The White Hart..

this is a very pleasant pub, on the Thames Path between the source and Cricklade. just by Cotswold Water Park. We were made very welcome and had delicious light bite despite it being 3 minutes to kitchen closing time. The River is just across the road and is a gentle stream at this point - worth a look. Looking at the board, they have all sorts of evening activities - Quiz night, Wine Man's Bluff, Open Mic etc.
