Lovely friendly pub, although I never sit in the LFC half I'm sure it's just as good X

First night in Liverpool and this was a welcome and warm place to settle in for a few min. It’s pay as you go, so bring your pounds, boys and girls

Great local boozer, good atmosphere, good choice of drinks. Split half half between LFC/EFC.

Really enjoyed our afternoon drinks here. It isn't the fanciest of places, but the toilets were clean and the barmaid could not have been anymore friendly or accommodating considering the feel of a 'local bar'. Plus points are mostly for the warm reception from the bar staff. Can't remember her name but was Friday 1st around 3pm

Again top public bar... staff excellent.. Toilets spotless.. Very friendly locals.. 10/10 for this little Gem..

Good, friendly local pub in the heart of Wavertree.

Ignored when went in for two or three mins as barstaff washing glasses, that's ok but a 'i will be with you as soon as this is done would be nice'.

Great traditional Pub, my local, even though I now live on the Wirral in Irby, I grew up in Wavertree and I still see it as my home. I still visit the 'Wellie' every Thursday for the quiz night, great staff and regulars.
