Cracking pub ,great decor with a vibrant atmosphere, being new to the area and English the owner Stuart was very welcoming indeed , he even made a point of remembering my drink on my second visit ,the locals seem welcoming especially the old boys despite my very English accent. If your innthe area its well worth a visit ,can't say about the grub yet but I will try it when I get a day off work and will give a review 😀 all in all an exceptionally welcoming place .

So the fish and chips are a treat, the beer too 😊 But I think, the owner, and the waitress (shy) not at all commercial It was limited if we were able to eat, after finishing, I would have eaten a dessert, at no time was we asked, in short we left without having it, too bad they lost money 😏

Good food, good service and banter, really good price. Steak pie was awesome. You need to book in advance.

Nice place but £13.00 for 2 pints an a single malt was ridiculous then to be told the malt was £6 a nip argh think should have been told that before we ordered

Fantastic little pub. I walked in for my first visit late evening as a stranger. A couple hours later I feel like I left as a friend. If I'm back in town in future, I will be returning! Thank you for your hospitality and chatter.

First visit, much too impress.....warm blazing log burner, cosy, ..look around looks immaculate....... Was a guest at a Christmas Bash....efficient friendly staff, greeted as though I was a regular.....nothing seemed to much trouble..... Lunch was delicious, .......interesting soup, then sure my fish, still had a pulse it was so fresh, perfect batter, great chips and garden peas.......chocolate cake with ice cream... ..how could you not enjoy...... Will definitely return, aparently very reasonably priced....so I am informed.....pop your head in folks, sure like me you will be very pleasantly surprised........

Just opened at start of October and what a revelation. Where as previously you had to go into Leven to eat the Wellesley really is the gem in Buckhaven. A fantastic enthusiastic italian chef who takes the time to come and talk to you about your meal. Fresh ingredients all cooked to order. Unbeatable is the Friday night steak deal two starters two sirloin steaks and a bottle of wine for £25 I had the nachos truly superb with cheese and Chilli con carne my partner had the home made haggis balls with the whiskey sauce she said they were Amazeballs :) see what i did there ? Nice and moist and very tasty. Chef then asked are you ready for the main ? before starting on it . Truly the best cooked steak i have ever eaten with barely an ounce of fat , cooked medium just as i asked my partners was medium rare and you could see the slight difference showing chef Fabio knows his steak served with home made chips.i asked for fried onions and received a massive portion. Could not fault the meal or service in anyway. Truly an up and coming star
