I come in for a quiet drink with a friend. Someone come onto me in the unisex toilet and I managed to get away, as I was walking away upset the DJ decided to comment on me and it was upsetting and rude. I was made to feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I would never step foot in there again!! Disappointed and disrespected

Fabulous place 😀 The Vale Bar has Mo’s Bistro upstairs. The owner Eddie is very welcoming+ friendly. Decor is incredible, very chic and glam 💖. We loved the place so much I’ve booked it for my bday party in July. Tarquin was very accommodating + friendly, he actually cooked us 2 roast dinners even though there was a private function happening and we weren’t even charged as we were booked in by mistake. Perfect place for drinks and food, wether it be lunch, private party, just a quick drink or an evening out. Highly recommended xxx

Visited this bar with a friend for a few drinks. Oh what a wonderful experience! The bar from the outside look small but as you walk though the door you are transformed into a different world. Staff were friendly and welcoming, drinks were very reasonably priced. My friend and I were on a catch up and driving so only drinking soft drinks. Although we usually drink J2 O or the like, the bar could not offer this, however we bought a glass of Diet Coke for £1..!! The bar is decorated in a quirky style and fab music and atmosphere. I believe the bar offer food but we did not try this. Definitely worth a visit and will be returning.

I had my Baby Shower I’m The Vale Bar, upstairs in the function room. Was the most magical day. The room was perfect not to small and not to big, perfect for my family and friends to mingle together. They also out a buffet on for me, and it was so nice. Would deffijitly recommend this venue for any occasions. I had around 30 people at my baby shower and was perfect. We also had access to the bar down stairs to get more drinks, they also had karaoke on, witch was a bonus for the evening. The owner Ed was the best host, such a lovely man. He wanted me to have the best day. Thank you ever so much for most amazing day Rachel from the LMA CHOIR xxx

Love a little trip the vale bar , 2 pound pints and amazing live music most weekends staff are great also , last time we visited there was a lady behind the bar in what looked like pyjamas witch made me question my insanity but we did all have a laugh about it !

Fabulous night with family and friends. The staff were extremely friendly and entertaining. The food was scrumptious and the drinks flowed for my niece’s 30th birthday celebrations. It has such a lovely chilled atmosphere, the decor was eye catching with neon signs and themed walls. Really comfortable seating area where you could lounge around and take in the fantastic atmosphere. I would most definitely recommend.

We went to celebrate my niece's 30 birthday. Upstairs in the Bistro for bottomless brunch which consisted of a meal from the Bistro menu then drinks throughout the meal. Cocktails, prosecco & wine on the table ready and waiting. All delicious. Food was really yummy. Great service from Eddie who looked after us and made sure everything was perfect. Staff were great and again made sure we were looked after. Then downstairs for dancing with a live singer who was brill. Atmosphere was great. Gorgeous bar & Bistro. Had an awesome time. Thank you to Eddie & the team. Will be back x x

Well what can I say .... Roast dinners are my absolute favourite meal in the world, so I rarely enjoy going out for one (the roasties and Yorkshire puds are never like home) ....until you go to the Vale Bar and Mo's bistro. It was like having a roast dinner at your mum's house!!! The most homemade roast dinner I have ever eaten out and the most attentive staff. We will definitely be regulars.

Visited for the first-time late afternoon, wow and wow. Loved the quirky decor and music was fabulous, great priced drinks. Service with a smile and lemons for my dry martini too. Just a few minutes on Vale from Black Bull Bus Stops. All very clean in bar area and toilets. Already looking forward to going back with friends.
