Hello! This is my best bet of contacting you, I believe your pub alarm has been going off non stop for a few days now. I live across the street, tried to call the pub but have a feeling you have closed. I asked 101 and they asked me to try and contact you directly, I am not on social media and can't find an email address, please can someone pass this on, and have a look? The noise is starting to worry the neighbours! All the best, Emily Kuipers

Terrible service, everything was overpriced, lack of atmosphere was astounding and the only time the place felt alive was with the young bands playing every so often. Don't waste your money here there's a better place down the road.

Landlord accommodated our running group of around 25, sorted an area of the bar for us and gave us the back garden area for use. He kindly stored bags for us and fed and watered us on return - runners (walkers and joggers) all very happy with the food and beer. Personally I had a guinness or two as did others and enjoyed them a lot. Pub is down to earth, not fancy and perfect for our needs. Landlord was lovely as were the staff. Its a good live music venue too.

It’s a shame. Used to come to this pub regularly with friends drinking, talking and interacting with bar staff. But unfortunately, since the landlord has changed, my opinion has. Recently came here with friends to watch some live music but got demanded away due to one of my friends emotion support animal. After trying to inform the manger of the situation (emotional support animal) he rudely declined a civil conversation to discuss said relationship between my friend and her esa. Disgusted by this behaviour and the intolerance to maintain a conversation (to which he instigated an argument from), the only thing I could take away from his aggressive babbling was “the animal can leave or you guys can”. After understanding the manager’s strict intolerance towards people with esa and mental health issues. The only reason why I gave this and extra star is because they had Kronenburg on tap. I wouldn’t return to this pub.

i visited this bar on Saturday night , such a lovely bar but sadly this goes unnoticed due to one of the most ignorant, bad attitude and poor hygiene of the overly obese bar man. He was completely rude and politeness was definitely not in this guys character. the other lovely bar man was so embarrassed at the behaviour. if he could ring the bell any louder behind the bar, I would probably here it while taking underground the

Things did not start well when we visited The Swan Hong Thai for dinner last night. I phoned ahead to confirm what time the kitchen closed and was told 9pm but it could be earlier depending on the mood of the chef. On arrival I pleased to see pad krapow on the menu, a favourite Thai dish of mine & I asked if it was possible to order it with a fried egg on top as is the norm in Thailand. The server went to ask the chef who said this was not possible. We then ordered a selection of starters & mains, the moo grob was very good but when we asked if we could replace the rancid dipping sauce it came with, we were told his wasn't possible. The rest of the starters were average at best. We ordered mains of red curry, green curry & pad krapow, a friend then arrived & tried to order a main and was told the kitchen had closed, the time 8.46pm. The curries were passable but the pad krapow was basically a chicken & veg stir fry & bore no resemblance to the dish at all. A pad krapow without basil let alone holy basil is not a pad krapow. That said the pub itself is very nice & our server was excellent. The standard of the food was similar to many Thai restaurants up & down the country, why do Thai chefs think farangs are only interested in the same old backpacker favourites, most of us can take a good hit of heat & a funky dose of kapi kung, don't play it safe offer us what you would eat back home!

Mixed experience eating here last night (the day that London was going to be moving into tier 2 covid restrictions at midnight). When we walked in it smelled like paint as something was drying in the entrance area propped up in front of the bar. Social distancing was good as we were seated away from others, most of the team members who served us were wearing visors however one lady was walking around and serving us with her visor lifted up and no mask (it's currently mandatory to wear a face covering and they were asking all customers to wear one when not seated). One man I saw behind the bar was not wearing a visor or mask at all. The Thai food was fairly nice (hence the 3 stars) but the cocktail we ordered wasn't good. Wouldn't rush back anytime soon.

Just back from a lovely evening at The Swan. I am not a huge fan of the riverside eateries in Kingston so a 2 minute walk over the bridge was well worth it. This is a lovely, genuine, family run pub which has the benefit of having an authentic Thai restaurant built in. The pub area is great but I particularly liked the ambiance of the dining area. The food was faultless. Our first Thai in a while and well worth the wait. We booked, intending to sample the £15 for the 3 courses menu but decided on the full menu. Nice wine. Great Guinness and a pleasing bill. The prices are so much nicer than the riverside. We had a very well spaced table even when they got busy. Service was excellent with all staff wearing visors and being on their game. If you like Thai food and fancy a treat I recommend it.

Me and s lips popped here on a Dishi Rishi special of a Wednesday evening and yeah it was alright. The pre subscribed menu gives this gaff max return on the Dishi special with only a £10 three course option available. We were sat at a two seater but one of the seats was basically a high up cushion on a windowsill. It was too high for the table, a bit uncomfortable and not good for one’s back with all the leaning forward. Either they were going for an arty look or they had recently painted and not removed the paint blodges off the seat with white spirit. Only they will know. We were offered prawn crackers and accepted and these were not on the menu. We therefore assumed they were included as you’d expect any items you’d pay for to be priced on the menu for brevity. Not a biggie but getting charged three bar for something where the price isn’t advertised is not ideal. The food wasn’t too bad. We shared the chicken wings and prawn tempura. The mains were pretty average with one red curry and one green curry consumed. They were a tiny bit tasteless but passable all the same. Then came a token ice cream dessert which was a bit unnecessary and we could’ve done without, but it was included so we get obliged. Apparently a bottle of Singha was included for spending over £20, but I had to ask for another drink that wasn’t available before this was disclosed so I’m still unclear as to the deal there. The bill came and 12.5% was added for service which again wasn’t disclosed on the menu. All a bit cheeky I think and a bit of transparency wouldn’t go amiss here. All in all the atmos was nice but a tad uncomfortable with the seating arrangement, food just about ok and there were some hidden charges. They have worked out how to rinse Rishi for all he’s worth which is fair play from a business point of view. However, offering the normal menu like other places are at half price would’ve been a better deal for the customer and you wouldn’t overeat that way. There’s a lot of places nearby with better food and better customer approaches than here. I wouldn’t hurry back.

My running club Little Feet meet there every Monday night and they are very thankful for the additional custom after our run at a time when there's hardly anyone in there. Don’t rely on the Trip Advisor map to find the place, totally misplaced on my iPad. Went on a whim for a meal on one of those can’t be bothered to cook nights. We were greeted with a warm welcome and shown to table. An extensive menu was full of tempting delights. We shared a starter and a very generous portion of prawn crackers and ordered a main course each. I have a healthy appetite and was completely stuffed after a very delicious Green Curry. Portions are very generous, service was excellent. A very slight criticism was that the dishes were a little over sweet compared to what you would eat in Thailand. Prices were fair, not cheap but not bad. We will be back, so many delicious temptations on the menu.

Took a chance and booked a table at the last minute. It was a Wednesday night and got a table no bother. The menu is extensive and we took our time deciding. Food was excellent. Starters very generous. We all ordered different mains each was delicious and again the portions were generous but the food was so nice I ended up finishing everything. The downside, it was a cold night and I sat with my coat on all night. I got a draft every time the door opened. Must have been lots of smokers. Tofu is something that needs to be prepared 'just so' for me to enjoy...and would you know it they cook it excellently here. We were looking for somewhere to have a meal with friends and then go somewhere else to listen to some music. My friend suggested the Swan pub which is actually just up the road from Hampton Wick station. Saturday night they had a Bowie tribute band together with their stunning Thai food. We arrived at 8pm and had some drinks before sitting down. The menu is great for all tastes including gluten intolerent. We had some crackers with a chilli dip and some chicken skewers with a peanut dip to start. The girls went for thai green curries, one with chicken and one with prawns. The boys had stir fried beef sirloin and a lamb shank. All the food was delicious but only have starters if you are hungry because portion size is good. We had a couple of bottles of pinot grigio and a couple of pints of morreti and the bill totalled less than £120 for everything. The music was very good and everyone had a great time. The waitress was friendly and helpful and we were not rushed at all. Highly recommend this place!

I was been tempted to visit the Swan seeing the descriptions of authentic Thai food on their blackboard and our initial impressions were good. We were greeted warmly and throughout the service was excellent - friendly, helpful and quick. The food however was such a disappointment. The vegetables added to the Tom Kha soup were raw (large chunks of raw mushroom, raw cherry tomato and the onions were only slightly cooked). There was a pleasant lemongrass flavour to the soup but no layers of flavour and absolutely no chillies or chilli oil in sight. The Panang Curry was described as a 'large plate' and the plate was certainly large as was the pile of rice. But the actual curry was tiny - 5 pieces of chicken in a little sauce. Again no heat or chilli. Whereas the Pad Thai was so over flavoured with tamarind that it was hard to eat. Such a shame. If it was a local I would go again for a drink but not the new Thai gem I hoped for. Service - 5 stars. Food - 1 star.

With an absolute glut of chain restaurants in Kingston it's so refreshing to find a fantastic owner run Thai restaurant in The Swan Hong Thai. It's primarily a pub but the atmosphere is great and decor modern yet cosy. The menu is small but what it lacks in choices it more than makes up for in quality. The ingredients were fresh, portions large and taste amazing so nothing more we could ask for. The Pad Thai was particularly good and one of the best I've had outside of Thailand. I've always thought that Kingston was missing a decent Thai, especially since some of the other pub Thai restaurants in the area went down hill really quickly, and I think I've discovered it. I'll definitely be back very soon.

My running club have been using this pub for their Monday evening meetings for the last 9 months or so. Initially, the new landlords could not cope with the quantity of food being ordered and always got my order wrong or it was forgotten completely. It has since been taken over by a new young landlord who obviously knows his stuff and specifically got in a Thai chef all the way from Thailand. What a brainwave! It has completely transformed this pub into a gastronomic, Thai experience that prides itself upon a small, but top quality menu serving fresh food every time at a bargain price. Consequently, it has encouraged much local clientele and the pub is now thriving. Top quality food at a bargain price. Good for the odd meal out if you don't wish to spend much.

Where was the music Asked a question of a waitress to get someone who either could not understand me even though I spoke English or who had no clue on what was happening asked for two liqueur coffees to revive one that was a mediocre attempt with whiskey the other we asked for one with cognac what did we get one coffee that had whiskey but cream was not floating properly the other arrived as a black coffee with brandy in it in a cup with no cream . Fish pie that had a teaspoon of fish in it not a pleasant experience
