AVOID AVOID AVOID.... I love Indian food and because I think the management is Indian one should expect decent curry... Possibly the WORST Indian food I have every had.. The Onion Bhaji was burnt on the outside and soggy in the middle... The curry was bland and untasty... The chef should be sacked ...It was AWFUL...YOU HAVEB BEEN WARNED

Went here at the recommendation of the hotel. Food was very tasty and service was great. Only thing that let it down was that the food did take a while to come out but I would definitely eat here again.

We took our dinner in the Green Room/Spice Club each night we were in Belfast. The curry offerings are not every night, but they are worth going for on the scheduled evenings. The menu election is good, though naans, rice, etc are separate menu options. The staff were helpful and really helped us get everything we needed for a large family gathering. I had the chickpea curry (which is the only curry offering on the off days at Green Room), and my wife had a medium spiced chicken dish. Both were very vice.

Had a terrible meal on years day. The restaurant was very busy but Despite this the service and the quality of the food was awful. In general the Indian food was very bland, the onion baji was cooked fom frozen the name bread was not homemade and was tasteless, my child's pizza was cooked from frozen and had a lump of cheese and chicken thrown on top of it! The prawn starter had 4 prawns and was meant to be Tandoori flavoued. I asked could the children have some Tandoori chicken from the specialist Tandoori resteraunt?????? I was informed it was just whatever was on the menu?? I never saw a specialist clay oven???? We complained and the manager avoided us until my wife paid for my birthday meal! He took money off for the nan bread and pizza and admitted the quality of food was poor, he did however refused my offer to eat the hard overcooked frozen pizza! £ 86 pounds later for a family meal would be better spent on KFC which was unfair on the large amont of captive family dinners over the new year!

Probé el Spice Club después de pasarlo muchas veces. Me alegro de que mi esposa y yo reservamos el sábado. Buena comida y excelente servicio de Jabbar y su equipo. ¡Los veremos de nuevo pronto!

We have eaten here before but did not review last time. The choice and quality of food was really good. The service was very proficient and friendly. The rogan josh was great as was the buttered chicken. Easy to recommend if you like indian food - although there is the green room which provides eclectic dishes.

We had dinner here, The wife had the steak nd I tried the Indian food and have to say we were not disappointed. Portion size was good, not too big not to small, presentation spot on, taste and use of spices was just right. An enjoyable evening just a bit off putting that the place was so empty. a good evening with good food and a reasonable price.

I recently won a stay at the Crowne Plaza hotel and had dinner at The Spice Club.We were greeted by a waitress called Louise, and she made us feel very welcome. Louise was extremely polite, knowledgable and very friendly. She had other tables but never failed to make sure we didn't need anything. Made our visit much nicer, and we would definitely go back again, even for just a meal in the restaurant. We left as very happy customers.

I went here as part of a wedding reception it was the spice night so i went for the Indian menu . Having been to Delhi i had a fair idea what real Indian food should taste like & this food did not disappoint it was delicious & portions weren't massive but if you get some of the breads like naan etc ,you certainly don't go home hungry .Staff were great & it's a really nice place to relax.

Mal. . .

Yet another great meal in the spice club, both Jamal and Rio really do look after their guests. If like me you work away from home and are tired of hotel food then do try this it is Indian restaurant quality.

We were staying at the Ramada Plaza and chose the Spice Club for dinner. The menu isn't extensive but there is a good choice and the food was authentic and of very good quality. The Lamb Rogan Josh was delightful but the star of the show was a delicately flavoured monk fish dish, with a good naan to clear up the sauce.

Visited here while staying at the Ramada Plaza. There is a great choice of Indian and Western food but my colleague and I both picked from the Indian menu. My chicken Korma was great and I would definitely come back to this restaurant again. The restaurant was quite busy and the staff were a little slow but that didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of our meal.Recommended for anyone in the area.

This used to be my favourite indian in Belfast and I raved about it to all my friends but I've just eaten here tonight and it was so disappointing The restaurant is now in the main hotel restaurant where dinner is served so you're eating dinner beside people ordering from the a la carte so the chefs are cooking both standard food and indian food. The menu has also changed and there is not half as much on it. My favourite tandoori dish was missing and ther was only bog standard dishes such as tikka masala, rogan Josh, bhuna etc available. When we ordered we we were told that rice and naan were extra and not included. With main dishes priced at approximately £12.50 and then rice or naan on top at £2.50 approx it worked out a very expensive main course! I ordered poppadoms as well and when these arrived the poppadoms were cold and a bit soft, the salsa was mostly onions and was very watery. The main courses were tasty and there was plenty of chicken and lamb in the meals ordered, but it was definitely not worth the money, the restaurant is a bit out of the way and there are plenty of other good value and quality restaurants in south Belfast! The restaurant itself is really nice but the old spice club and it's menu will definitely be missed!
