The Smoking Bull in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Service was the first thing I noticed. Warm accommodating friendly staff. Food came out in a reasonable time and was amazing! All homemade and prices reasonable. Will definitely be back. Nice to have a good eatery in town finally!

Had the Beijing burger and the mixed side (chips, onion rings and cheese and chili bites). Absolutely delicious. The burger had thick fried chicken that was crispy but juicy. Fries were well seasoned. Would definitely go back if we lived nearer or are in the area again!

We have been here quite a few times now and can honestly say the food is wonderful. The steak melts in your mouth and the flavours are amazing. We have never had a meal we didn't enjoy. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Meanwhile the food was absolutely perfect! I'm not surprised that it is difficult to get a table! All-round excellence.

Extremely good food and a varied menu. Good selection of local lagers on but disappointing there are no ales. Services was very attentive but a little slow

We had a large table booked for some military personnel, the atmosphere was fantastic. The food was amazing and the staff were attentive at all times. What an amazing place we have in this town! We are very lucky. We will definitely be back soon.

2nd place I've ever been to which I can confidently give a 10/10 to (1st was masala hut, Spilsby near skegness) Had the oklahoma smash burger and was delightful, chips on point the iced coffee was flavoursome staff were lovely and even gave us a free sample. Only flaw (if it even is one) is it was so filling I couldn't even finish it ! Came in about 25 mins so quick. No wonder this place is always booked out

Disappointed. Was really looking forward to our meal after waiting 4 weeks. First impressions when food arrived was disappointing for £29 per plate, first few bites and it was not for us. Service was good but would have expected at better response when informed we were not satisfied with the food. Service good, atmosphere good but an expensive mix grill. Cocktails, waiters admitted are new to them ( they do need work ) Gutted as was really looking forward to our visit! Paid in full would we go back or recommend …sorry to say no.

Overall, a very satisfying experience. The service was great, and the food was seasoned nicely, with a good balance of options. Definitely worth a visit. If we had one complain, although minor, our food temperature was somewhat 'tepid', especially the chicken wings. It was as if it was waiting on the pick-up counter for a while before being served to us.

Literally lost for words with this place, all I can say is try and review yourself. 10/10 from me, absolutely smashed it! 💪

Impressive food, decent service and well themed.

Ordered the Nashville chicken burger with a side of tenders, the portion sizes are MASSIVE, the chicken was beautifully seasoned with tons of flavor, the fries were out of this world, even the coleslaw that came with the burger on the side was delicious, these guys know what they're doing, will definitely be coming back, well worth the money

I been in the uk for over a decade…had ate in many , many burgués joints all around 🇬🇧. I happened to be around this area for work. I was craving for a burger and I found this place. All hopes were fulfilled, burgers ain’t cheap but they are worth it. I ordered a chicken burger and I was not disappointed at all, I wished I could have a bigger belly to get another one in 😅😅😅 If I ever around this are a, this will be the place to come again, and again . I may break the bank , but definitely worth it …. Sorry I didn’t took photos, I was starving after a long day . I’ll do next time for sure 😁😁😁

We went as a party of 12 at a very busy time and had a great experience. Staff lovely, very attentive, food was great, and they made the effort to get the kids meals out early to help with little ones. Even got some bonus crackers!

Went last night for our works Christmas do. REALLY tasty food, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Knew their stuff when it came to a member of the party being coeliac and couldn’t be more helpful. The smoked rib was tender and tasty and went well with the fries and homemade slaw. Burgers were juicy and full of flavour. Will definitely be back again.

Had a meal a couple of weeks ago for my lads birthday, the place is a breathe of fresh air, nothing else like it in Nuneaton. Great story of how it has came to be. The food was superb and the cherry on the top was they have beer from the silhill brewery. 🍺👌

Holy s**t just had the chicken roast dinner and what a roast it was! Really well cooked and presented and great portions. Even had a mulled wine on arrival to collect. All so delicious. Thanks so much

10/10 for food. Recommended by a friend who knows the family and that the food is a must try. Ordered a burger + a side and is it different to the average chain restaurants. In addition they had their own home made sauces which was tasty! Highly recommend and will be returning again in future.

Like nothing you have experienced before! We love this place. The food is incredible, the staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly and it’s a great atmosphere. If you like meat then you shouldn’t go anywhere else. The best thing about Nuneaton.

Exceptional food and exceptional customer service. I cannot recommend the smoking bull highly enough. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and was the perfect setting for our birthday celebration evening. A big thank you to all the staff for an excellent evening. Mostly burgers but found a chicken Kebab on Flatbread which was very tasty.

Honestly. Best burger I’ve ever had

Visited based on a recommendation and not sure if for sure snit was an off day but ended up disappointed. The waiting time from placing our food order was over an hour and it wasn't exactly what you would call busy. The food when it did come was mediocre at best, when paying £16.00 for a burger you don't expect it to look and taste like it had been cooked the night before and reheated in a microwave !

I didn't even know this place was a proper food restaurant, came for the first time tonight. Food was 10/10 without a doubt probably the best steak I've ever ordered and I've been to places like marco pierre ect this place is outshines it 🤌 the people are so friendly and outgoing and if you fault the food come back and mark this as a false report lol but yeah thanks The smoking bull staff, food, place was all amazing will be coming back. Ps I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure there's no vegetarian stuff it's a proper steak house so... don't go if your not a real foody.

A true Nuneaton gem! It's no wonder you have a circa two-month waiting list for a peak time Friday or Saturday slot. Went on a Friday and had the full baby back ribs and wow, the flavour, the accompanying sides, and the amount of food is worth every penny. I loved hearing the passion and the story behind The Smoking Bull. Will be visiting again.

Ordered the cowboy burger and quarter pounder. Asked for no gherkins or onions on the cowboy burger but it came with them on and mine that should have had them on did not, only minor but was a bit annoying. Burger was nice though.

Amazing. We went for dinner yesterday, I was hoping to try the Chilli but it wasn't on the evening menu. Went for the the beef rib and a chicken burger, both were incredible. And to top it off I was gifted a portion of Chilli to take home to try! Had it tonight for dinner, honestly the best Chilli I've ever eaten. We'll definitely be back!

The staff was amazing! Really friendly and helpful, food was out of this world, and to top it off, my lad was given a bottle of hot sauce too to take home as he handled the hottest sauce they did

Wow, I've been into BBQ and Smoking at home for many years, trying to perfect the art of Low & Slow. Well, this place has nailed it 100%! The most amazing flavours and textures, coupled with great beers and super attentive service. I'm both a really happy customer, and also very jealous of what these guys have acheived! Visited for the first time on recomendation with my partner on 20/06/24 and really enjoyed our visit. The staff were really helpful and attentive, the food was great, we went with the platter for one which gives a great selection of the various smoked meats and it includes some of the best sweetcorn and beans I've ever tasted. We couldn't quite finish our plates so took the ribs home in a box. I'd be really happy to visit again, I couldn't get enough of the pork belly! 🤤🤤🤤

We dropped in tonight due to the reviews and they squeezed us In. I have eaten in some good places but not alot can top this. Staff were excellent..food was probably the best I have had from a smoke house. Don't be fooled by the outside. In fact do be fooled by the outside that way I will still be able to get a table. To top it off cornish rattler on tap! Well done the crew that works there. We will be back with a crew of our own!

Absolutely fantastic!!! Words could not explain how could this place is. The staff are amazing, drinks are amazing and the food..... simply unbelievable. We've travelled to the US alot for holidays and tried alot of bbq/smoker places out there that are meant to be "the best" but The Smoking Bull beats every single one of them hands down!!

I recently enjoyed another fantastic meal at The Smoking Bull, and they once again exceeded my expectations. As a regular, I know I can always count on their unbeatable chicken burgers, which are consistently juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. This time, I had a platter for one with sides of burnt ends and chili cheese bites. Every bite was a delightful experience, with the burnt ends being particularly tender and the chili cheese bites offering the perfect kick. The homemade sauces are a standout feature, adding unique and delicious flavors to every dish. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is always top-notch. The Smoking Bull continues to be my go-to place for a satisfying and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and delicious food!

Waited 45 mins for our meal. I think they had forgotten us. Had the special which was rib meat and sausage casserole. It was tasty but had only two pieces of pork, so was mostly sausage. Seasoned chips just tasted like chips, Chlli was just ok.

Food is absolutely fantastic, parking can be a bit of a pain, there is a free car park on the other side off road.
