The Riverside Bar in Fermanagh

I have never left a trip advisor review in my life but if I could give 15 stars I would. The owner IS SO LOVELY. My partner and I were in Garrison for the week and went for a drink before dinner, the guiness was great. And we were then planning to go somewhere else to eat but due to covid places closed very early. The owner Gabrielle was warm and friendly as soon as we walked in. We were having chats with him when he overheard us talking about how the restaurant was closed where we planned to eat. Because it was a Thursday riverside wasn't serving food either (only weekends at this current time) but Gabrielle went out of his way and made us pizza and chips regardless. He didn't charge us and wouldn't take the extra money we tried to leave him. We ended up staying a few hours just talking. I couldn't recommend this warm, friendly and genuine place more. It was very clean, great drinks, all covid procedures were in place and it made you feel right at home. I will go out of my way to come back to this bar, Gabrielle I hope you see this because the next round of drinks will be on us in the future!! Thank you for such a lovely time!! P. S. The pizza was also worth 5 stars

We had a lovely dinner on July 30th 2021..lovely people running the bar and very accommodating to my fussy requests😁😁. I would definitely recommend if you fancy a triple and relaxed evening meal. Thank you again Caroline

Stayed in Garrison for a week unfortunately with the current climate it was only open for 3 days a week Friday to Sunday We had a meal on the Friday and Saturday and both were good... service was a little slow but the owner/barman was on his own due to staff being off sick so it was understandable all in all we were well looked after and prices were very reasonable Will definitely be back

Called for Sunday lunch to The Riverside Bar today with my daughter. So glad we did. Fabulous food at a very reasonable price. The beef would melt in your mouth accompanied by plenty of fresh vegetables. Daughter had salmon which was also fab. Chocolate dessert to die for. All staff from waitress Edy to Jane & Gabriel had time to chat & make you feel at home. Brilliant service in a spotless family run pub/restaurant. We'll be back, thank you.

Another amazing Sunday lunch at this lovely restaurant. The food was so lovely and tasty and so much of it. My husband mum and I were treated to wonderful friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to go again.

This was our second visit to the riverside bar and I cannot say enough great things about the place. You are welcomed like old friends and treated to first-class service. The good is delicious and there's plenty of it, nothing is too much trouble for these lovely people. My family and I really can't recommend this place enough.

A nice friendly place with great Guinness and hot meals. I highly recommend a visit when visiting Garrison.

Had dinner here with my family last weekend on a weekend trip to Fermanagh. The selection of food on the menu was great. Food was lovely and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend for food and a warm welcome.

We’ve eaten in this wonderful bar on many occasions and it never, ever disappoints. The premises are pristine...every single element from the furnishings to the bathrooms to the back of bar are maintained to a very high standard and I feel secure in the knowledge that the kitchen is also immaculate. The food in The Riverside Bar is wonderful...plentiful, tasty, cooked to perfection...so much care and attention is devoted to providing customers with a meal which exceeds expectations. However, the most distinguishing factor of this superb bar is the hospitality - customer service at its very best...the warmest welcome, prompt but relaxed service, time to chat and share a laugh...it’s obvious how much their customers are valued. This is a proper local pub - at the centre of the community and much loved by its many patrons. I cannot recommend The Riverside Bar highly enough for any occasion...it’s like a home away from home

My drink is Hennessey Brandy but the only mixer I like is chocolate milk, they don't sell it, so instead of sneaking it in I asked if I could use it, the answer was "if it's not bought on the premises it can't be consumed on the premises". Oh well for the £1 price of a bottle of chocolate milk, the charity night lost out on the price of a table, raffle tickets, etc., and the bar lost out on a good few Brandy purchases. The owner of this bar has all the personality and warmth of a multi story car park. Never again.

Visited the riverside bar today with a group of friends food was good but the service was amazing , our waitress edy made sure everything was perfect and she made our experience really fun . I would definitely call back here again simply for the great service we received

Superb service and wonderful food served in a spotless and cosy environment....can't recommend this wonderful bar highly enough. Gabriel is a warm and welcoming host.

Have been to the Riverside Bar for pub food and Sunday lunch, both have been excellent. A big effort is made to ensure a nice atmosphere (not simply a pub atmosphere) for Sunday lunch. Food never fails to please. Would highly recommend a visit if in the area. If not lovely for a drink in a nice rural pub.

Lovely clean bar with friendly staff and great food. Families are very well catered for with books and board games available for the children which makes for a more relaxed meal. They also do great takeout food, and have a very good off licence competitively priced.
