The Munch Box in Bridgend

Had a mega burger it was unbelievable well worth the money, piping hot and so tasty. Mate had the chicken curry half and half was rammed with chicken and portion was absolutely massive, beautiful food. George and Euan.

I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough. The food is fresh, beautifully cooked and you can eat healthy food without any pain in the wallet! The lovely ladies who run it are friendly and welcoming. The food tastes divine. It’s a bit of a hidden gem which is handy for us working on the estate. There’s usually a little queue but it’s because it’s made to order not warmed up in the microwave! Eat their, you won’t regret it.

The best takeaway breakfast about- the ladies that run it are good as gold too. Thoroughly recommended.

Had my usual Chicken curry half and half today and as always beautiful. The portion is perfect and always fills my big belly. Any more chicken i would say may spoil it as like i said it fills me up nicely. Tina also cooks my Bacon, Egg and Mushroom roll exactly how i like it too. She has a great memory. Always go there for my food when i can and also for the general chit chat with Tina and Sam who are so nice and friendly. Amazes me how they keep so cool under the pressure they are under as it`s always busy and with the phone constantly ringing for orders they deserve medals. Well done ladies keep up the good work!

Been using Munch Box for 3+ Years the food has always maintained the same consistency which is Excellent 5* in my humble opinion. You’d assume from the outside that it would sell your standard breakfast but It’s much much more once you stand and look at the menu from Grilled Chicken to Jacket Potato even Fish Finger Sandwich and amazing Chicken Curry/Rice from Tina’s Stunning cooking down to Sam’s home made welsh cakes I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great priced and hearty meal from 2 friendly and polite ladies - Keep up the amazing work! First and definately the last time I go here. The tightest portion of chicken in a so called chicken curry I have ever seen! Total rip off.

It is a simple case of good service and attention to detail. They know their customers and have lots of regulars and repeat orders. That should tell you all you need to know. I contract for work and that takes me all over the place...so you look for good places to get things done and where to eat.... .....and yes going over there shortly...
