Disorganised and poor food. Firstly our drinks (milkshakes and a can of pop) were warm... not what you want on one of the hottest days of the year but we didn’t mention it as it wasn’t the end of the world. We all ordered toasties or paninis with chips. The chips came out 15 minutes before the toasties/paninis. After 10mins I asked where they were and I was told they were on the way. 5 mins later they arrived. The toastie was fine but the paninis were cold. They had clearly been rushed. I complained and I was given a refund. The chef apologised for sending the chips before the other half of our meal but otherwise they didn’t seem to care! It’s a shame the food was so poor because it is in prime position and could be great!

Popped in here on a day trip to Morecambe having left a cafe nearby after sitting at the table and being completely ignored by the staff! Our experience at the Lighthouse Cafe could not have been more different! The location is great, being on the seafront directly opposite the Eric Morecambe statue. We were warmly greeted on entering and chose our drinks/food which you order at the till. It arrived in no time at all. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and there was a lovely feel about the place. Ten out of ten for this place with their customer service rating even higher...!! Came here for lunch one Saturday afternoon. It was quite busy. I ordered a cream cheese & pastrami bagel. Whilst bagels are quite chewy, this one was tough and there was hardly any pastrami. My husband had a homemade pie which he said was ok. The decor is interesting, very quirky/artsy. I think I saw some 'anti covid vax' material on a table but this may have just been part of an art piece rather than the cafes own views. The prices were reasonable

Stopped for coffees and was impressed by friendly staff and service so returned for lunch a couple of hours later. This is a community cafe with profits going to charitable causes, quirky interior with outside tables with great views of morcambe bay.

My friends and I have visited this little gem of a cafe several times since it was taken over and renamed by the present owners. The staff are super friendly and the food is cooked as you order it. Very good variety of main meals and desserts and cakes, all home made. They make their own ginger beer and lemonade which is lush! Highly recommend this fab cafe!!

Everything about this lovely little cafe is first class. The staff are super friendly and remember you when you go again. They let us take our little Yorkie in with us which was great. There were 4 of us and 1 had the vegetarian all day breakfast and the rest of us had the Falafel burgers with pitta bread, salad and humous. All meals are well presented, plentiful and very tasty. We have started to go every week now when visiting a relative in a nursing home there.

I love this place especially your crispy cake slices. But your hot chocolate today was not good. Didn't complain as haven't got the time but far too much cream and marshmallows in hit chocolate so there felt like no hot chocolate to drink and what was there was not hot. Go easy on cream !

Found on TripAdvisor, it's inside a Chinese grocery shop and is much better than it appears from the outside. The food is at good prices especially with deals. The portions are large and filling and the food is delicious. Staff are helpful. You may have to ask them to serve starters and mains separately but that wasn't a problem for us. No complaints, really enjoyed and would revisit.

Fab real ale pub in a great location right on the canal in Lancaster. I counted 10 cask ales on tap. My Titanic Plum Porter was a beauty. Even on a drizzly Halloween evening it was a delight! 🎃
