Decent Kebab but relatively small

I’ve been ordering from The Kebab House for around a year now. This place is as good as Zaytoon in Dublin, but far cheaper. Excellent meat, generous portions, good sauce and the chips are good for a take away.

Was in the other night for a chicken tikka kebab and super chip i was “greeted” by the owner swearing and shouting at the delivery driver which none of my business put he kept going and the lad trying to make a few pound unbelievable. Then i got to order which was about £4 over what the price on the board said I didn’t argue as it was late and i wanted home only to open the most inedible thing i have ever been served it was drenched in some disgusting liquid which made me gag immediately wont be back someone will end up hurt eating from here

I ordered from there food couple of times, first of all chicken tastes like rubber. Not putting anything on side when asking, everything in one box! Service is rude! Prices are way different, on board/menu are one price, to place an order by phone its always price up! Not recommended

Can't fault the staff, polite and always up for a chat whilst working away. The food however could be improved with some small simple steps that I think the staff would need to implement to ensure a better rating overall.

Firstly you will be greeted by a very happy person who cannot wait to rob you. I have travelled all over Europe and this is my worst experience. You choose the menu based on the prices because you want to obviously spend wisely. But when you are about to place your order to the shock and horror prices will shoot up because the owners have not bothered to change their prices on the menu board but the new takeaway menu is changed. I ordered a pizza and this tasted like rubber with fake cheese. I also ordered a chicken tikka kebab with extra salad. when i arrived the chicken was not cooked properly tasted like rubber and they forgot the extra salad or it had disappeared or evaporated. And to top everything i asked for some ketchup on the side and they don’t do this. You have been warned !!!!!

My family ordered a meal including: a small pizza for the baby, 3large pizzas; one chicken and beef, one pepperoni and ham another was margarita for the family, large Donna to share, large chicken kabab but they gave us chicken chunks without salad. Not only did they forget the salad, they completely forgot there margarita pizza and instead of beef they put pork pepperoni. My mother is violently sick when she eats pork so that pizza was completely ruled out. When we called back to explain our issues expecting at least an apology we got a rude man who didn’t care about the pork allergy but trued to get us down to the store to buy it all over again to get our salad, pizza and no replacement for the pepperoni mistake. Said that if we wanted salad that we should have written it in a box on the side of the order! So one missing large margarita pizza, two missing salads and nearly tragic dietary replacement. Really understanding the importance of their total disregard to replacing beef with pork. This is not only illegal to sell beef as pork but ethically wrong to sell pork not knowing a persons religious beliefs and allergies. If my mother ate this pizza and got sick there absolutely would have been legal action. And I will not even bother with the terrible taste and addition of spices on the dry chicken but if there was sauce it would have been forgivable or even some salad. If bellow one star review was possible I would truly a 0.001 out of 10.

Not one for writing bad reviews but couldn’t resist this time. Ordered a pizza deal at 8pm, it arrived at 9:20. Clearly stated I wanted plain chicken and not chicken tikka ( like they sent last time) and guess what. Chicken tikka again 😫 , never got any chips and the pizza was freezing cold. I assume they forgot about my order because when I rang the shop over an hour later , they said it’s on the way, 5 mins later the doorbell went. The pizza was like eating rubber. I have used the kebab house as every single week as my weekly take away , NEVER AGAIN an absolute shambles of a take away 🤬

My favourite burger stop on a night out. Food can be very hit and miss on occasion to be fair. 3.5/5 would be a fair rating.

Worst experience ever! Can't give less than 1 star sadly! Don't order from there if you care even a bit what you are putting in your belly!!! Ordered chicken kebap with salad (agreed with the till lady, not to include onions, but lettuce, 🍅 and 🥒) and garlic sauce. Paid £7.50, no matter there wasn't such a price anywhere on the menu, printed above the counter! Got only pita bread (or what ever they call it), chicken, taken from a bowl with some liquid draining from it, while it was put on the bread, cheese and a separate dip of garlic sauce, but only after I asked aren't they going to put some!?! Salad (didn't notice its absence till I got to my car)?!! Why should they bother! Was ready to forget: -the 30 (according to them 15) min preparation time; -not a single sole wearing a mask (two customers, who came in after me, the delivery boy, who went behind the counter (where the food was prepared) at least twice, the cashier girl or the "cook", didn't expect the kitchen fella to wear one anyway, but the rest?!?!), no matter the big A1 format notice saying that only 2 ppl should be allowed in the shop at any given time and that wearing a mask 😷 is mandatory (mine was feeling out of place sitting on my face 😷); -the till lady dealing with cash and helping a few times with the preparation of some of the orders). But when I went to my car and couldn't see any salad except the wet bread, chicken and some cheese... not a sign of the lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers as promised when my £7.50 was taken from me... went straight back to be told that they will add the missing stuff ... again as they did with the garlic sauce (probably expecting, that their customers prefer to spend the extra quid at their place compared to any big groceries shop, because of the personal TOUCH, the questionably prepared ingredients and then make the doner kebap by themselves) Asking for a refund sounded as the best thing to do. So they did deserved this 1 star after all as didn't try to decline my request!

NOT GOOD KEBAB SORRY! I WISH IT WAS DIFFERENT

The staff was friendly and patient as I was taking my time to order. The food was great as I ordered a chicken burrito and a chip with supersauce. The only thing I would change is I wish the supersauce wasn't so thick, think it needs to be a little bit watered down.

I wouldn't recommend unless they changed there food... really disappointed meat tasted like fake meat that was like dry and weird chips were not great and hardly any salad given just all in all not great although it was really cheep and quick ill give them that.

Can only comment on the kebab wrap meal: standard but won't turn heads. Kebab wrap is tightly compact with alot of meat but very little salad. The optional chilli sauce was very dry and nothing exceptional stood out. Delivery time was extremely good; I would compare it to Dominoes. Almost identical to Translavania but with tastier home-made chips (although Salt and Vinegar was requested but plain chips arrived). Would not order from here again. Spice India is a far better option. Extra Note: the restaurant has its own delivery app but should probably partner up with JustEat for a wider audience

AMAZING! We ordered the steak kebab & steak burrito tonight & both were fab! Have ordered multiple times now (delivery & walk in) & have never been disappointed! A hidden gem 😋
