Service was excellent, staff were friendly and not overbearing. Good menu choice. Food was excellent and cooked to request. Plates were hot so food remained hot.

You can have the usual menu as well as Sunday Lunch which is great with kids. Some of us chose off the main menu and some Sunday Lunch. The vegetables come in separate dishes which is great. All food was boiling hot and everyone really enjoyed. The staff are really lovely, can’t do enough for you. We can’t wait to return!!

Best meal we have had in a long time. Lovely staff, making you feel welcome and very friendly, couldn’t do enough for you. We were a party of 7 and everyone ordered something different. Not one complaint from all our meals . Recommend the fillet steak and the bbq burger although all meals were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed so much that we booked and went back a few days later and again all the food was amazing .

Lovely service, tasty food with big portions. Always well presented. The Grillhouse never disappoint. We love coming here as it's always so consistent. Plannning to return for Sunday lunch with the family soon, can't wait!

Garlic mushrooms starter was a joke for the money a mushroom sliced in to 4 quarters and medium size .All the 4 mains were average my steak being overdone was poor.Will not return and I live a 2 miles away.

As a family we just love it here. It’s always our “go to” place for family occasions. We have been meaning to pop back in since the lockdown eased, but sadly missed out on the eat out to help out madness. We were delighted we managed to get table one Wednesday evening after we finished work. They were super busy, but that didn’t stop the waitress giving us a lovely welcome.The management have clearly been busy making sure all requirements are met. All the staff were wearing masks and there were plenty of places to stop and sanitise your hands. Tables have clearly been spaced out with screens where they need to be. It was all very reassuring. We had certainly missed the steaks here. Always cooked to perfection with lovely chips. Me and my hubby just love the pepper sauce and cheesy garlic bread, yum! plentiful kids menu options also. Always have such fab waitress’s who can’t do enough for you. We can’t wait for our next visit. Well done The Grillhouse Team!!

Four of us went for lunch, impressed with the covid measures.I asked for a medium rare ribeye but had almost well done, chips were good ,sad peas.It was just boring should have had a sauce.Mixed grills(2) also over cooked so dry.Mustard etc served in half a teaspoon sachets. Elaborate burger was very good.Desserts(2) just normal bought in ,coffee ok.So just a bit disappointing.Total £100 inc 10% tip.

Vistied the Grill House for a catch up with a friend. It's essential to book as always really busy. Great inside, lots of space and covid advice followed. Food is always really tasty and service great. Love the addition of the outside seating, so nice on a sunny day. Look forward to returning soon

Went here teatime today with the family for my birthday meal....well last time here was ok ..today however was a different story..starters could have been a lot better with the addition of salt and pepper which wasn't readily available...the bread and olives was fine but that was a starter that you cant go wrong on...surf n turf main ..well either refried chips or just gave a portion of burned little bits as in pic 3 ..my wife's rib eye steak was cooked ok but the jacket potato was like one that had been cooked a week ago with a damp musky taste and smell..serving food like this is an insult especially when one of our family has been a chef at a 3 michelin star restaurant for several years..and to charge over £60 for two starters and two mains and two soft drinks is a fair price as long as the food is good ..we won't be rushing back here in a hurry or at least until the quality of the food improves...

I have been here a few times - not from choice but invites to party celebrations (pre-Covid!). Each time I have attended, the plated food looks absolutely fantastic, but the seasoning is an issue. Put it down to personal taste - you decide. It is also presents itself as a 'high-end' restaurant but it is not. Service was slow when I have visited and to be aware, if you ask for certain sauces e.g. Barbecue - there is an extra charge. (no bottled BBQ sauce available - not sure if it is freshly made?). Desserts are also expensive but no different to other restaurants e.g over £4 for a slice of cheesecake or similar.

Another return visit with family members. The welcome remained warm, the service prompt and the food delicious. If I were to add a recommendation to the establishment, it would be that they need to review the menu from time to time and add a few new dining ideas (on a separate sheet if necessary) just to extend the choice.

A little bit disappointed on our last visit, went there for my birthday on Sunday evening, quite busy, were shown to our table very quickly but the service was a little bit slow when we received our starters we both ordered the mushrooms but the portion sizes for what you pay are terrible and my wife's had approx 5 small pieces of mushrooms which we had to send back when we receive our mains the steak sauce was served cold and also had to be returned other than that the meals were very good but pricey, disappointed as we have used this restaurant for many years.

Best Steak I have had in a long while, we were a party of 12 for my Birthday, it was not cheap but at this restaurant you really do get what you pay for my Grandsons Tomahawk steak was a sight to behold

I intend on taking a picture of the food every time I go but it's too nice to wait. Must have been to this restaurant about 20 times over the last few years.. service always second to none, food is spot on and over all experience I would consider flawless. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Swansea. Thank you again for another great meal. Highly recommend a visit.

Visited the grill house for my fiancé's birthday she loves the place. The atmosphere the decor and the food is amazing Highly recommend the steak chips and peppercorn sauce Cannot wait for the next visit.

If the place is called 'grill house', I assume they are experts at steak cooking. In my experience, they are not.I ordered a medium rib eye. I received a crispy on the outside, rare on the inside lump of tyre-esque nonsense.To add insult, I received a gourmet size portion of cheesecake. This is acceptable in a gourmet restaurant, but I was supposedly in a 'grill house'. It was the circumference of of an aerosol lid. I could've eaten ten of them before my stomach started to complain of being full.Nevermind, another restaurant crossed off the list. ❌

Now I've been to Grill House truly more times than I can count, and the reason is that they are very consistent! Also I find the atmosphere to be nice and relaxed but attentive service, always get a nice waiter or waitress, last time I ordered the nachos for the first time and they were absolutely amazing.

First time here we found the staff not helpful at all didn't tell us about special board when we ordered drinks they toke ages to get them to use and then we ordered food but when it came out they forgot a meal for one the food was horrible and then we had to ask for sourses because they didn't ask us then we ordered more drinks and they forgot about use and we ordered desserts and they were horrible so all round we had a bad experience I wouldn't recommend this place.

Really enjoyed the steak. Cooked to perfection! The garlic and mushroom sauce was delicious also. Prawn cocktail starter is also worth trying out. Prices are little more than most restaurants that are similar. But overall worth the money. Food come out piping hot on skillet plates, which i like. Staff were really nice. And the restaurant was very smart inside, done out nicely. Highly recommend this place

We visited on a Sunday night, which was fairly quiet. The staff were welcoming and we had a nice corner table. The foo was superb, two of us had duck whilst the third had chicken in a creamy mushroom sauce. Everything was beautifully cooked and not a morsel was left. Desserts were good too, and the strawberries and ice cream was a huge portion served in one the fashionable glass jars. With excellent value for money and great food I can't wait to return in the New Year.

We visited last night as a group of 4 friends. As usual the food was great. The Christmas menu is always our favourite at this time of the year. Good value three course meal. Crackers and hats were a nice touch. We will always return thank you

Always wanted to try the grill house so tonight we had an unexpected date night so myself and my husband called on the off chance we may get a table... thankfully they could fit us in & we had a lovely evening. Food was served promptly and was great quality! Very nice decor and friendly staff. My husband had mushrooms to start & the mixed grill and I had soup & Cajun chicken, we were both pleased with our meals and would definitely return!

As a very regular visitor to The Grill House i took my family to celebrate my 83rd birthday. As always the food and service provided by Denise and her team was excellent. It really is a pleasure to visit this gem of a restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff, many of who we know by name. Lovely food in very pleasant surroundings. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough.

Recently came here a group of us, in our party we had people with disabilities.I want to say a massive thank you to the staff that evening, I'm sure they will remember us, we were quite loud at times(enjoying) lol.We were with a gentleman whose food needed to be pureed, there was no problem them doing this.The girl also offered to change plates for the ladies to make it easier for them to eat which was so considerate and well observed.The customer service was amazing, some servers can be quite patronising when dealing with disabilities but she had the right attitude and made us all feel comfortable.Oh yeah and the food was amazing, great portions and desserts amazing!!!

We had scampi and homemade chips with salad, Our waitress was very polite and attentive, must say excellent menu. spoilt for choice, and very reasonable. looking forward to our next visit.

Came here this evening with my wife, we had a very rare child free night, so we wanted to go somewhere we knew the food would be great. Grill house didnt and never does dissapoint. Been to the grill house a few times , never had a bad meal. The food quality is fresh and they are very generous with the potions. The quality on the meat is delicious, you pay for what you get. Top quality pub grill house food. Recommend to anyone.

Regularly visit the steak house, my daughters call it the knife and fork because of the logo for Sunday lunch. Roast beef is actually medallions of fillet steak so you can have them cooked to your preference, separate vegetables so can serve yourself. My eldest daughter thinks the swede is to die for we always ask for seconds. Excellent value and friendly staff. If going late on Sunday phone to reserve you roast dinner as they run out.

Went for a family birthday meal. Quick service and relaxed atmosphere! There was no ramp for access with pram so had to struggle getting up and down with it! Starters were lovely had the nachos! Mains I had a burger was so tasty, chips were a bit bland though, desert menu was much options! All in all nice meal and good service!

Went to The Grill house tonight with friends for a catch up and a meal. The food was amazing but from the second we arrived we felt totally rushed. We got the feeling that they wanted to take our order get us fed and out. We were barely given 2 mins to look at the menu before they would constantly ask us if we were ready to order. After our meal we asked If we could have a drink in the bar (9.50 PM) we were told it was closed. We ended up having to sit in the car chatting in the car park.

Food was standard yet price was not. Served by 5 different people in the time we were there which was somewhat confusing. Also, a petty point im afraid but when a pint of beer is requested it really should be a pint not 2/3 of a pint. Due to inconstant service, did not have opportunity to raise this Will not be back to this place. Shame, lots of good reviews here.. Must have been a bad day?

Succulent ribs. Beatifully cooked and flavoursome steaks. Great service. Amazing desserts and great value. Totally loved it.

Hubby and I visited The Grill House today for lunch.Been there several times and always found the staff to be very welcoming and efficient.Today just had a main meal each and one drink each.I had fillet medallions, medium, which were succulent and cooked exactly to my liking.Hubby had cheeseburger which he said was delicious. Both came with chips. We also had a portion of pepper sauce between us.To drink we had a lime and soda and a lemonade.Hubby left much of his lemonade as he is not too fond of gassy soft drinks.Cannot fault the service or food, the one negative is that they do not stock alcohol free beer/lager.Most places do these days. Please, please remedy this! The total cost was £28.20

We had a wonderful evening here for my daughters 50th birthday. The food was first class, also all came out at the same time. Staff was vefy helpful nothing was to much trouble for them we sgall defiantly be going there again

My wife and I went there for food which I must say was out of this world. As soon as we sat down we had a lovely girl come to take drinks order a massive smile and such a friendly willing to do anything attitude which was lovely when she came back to do the food order nothing was a problem for her. The food was outstanding and so is the cheesy garlic bread which the lovely waitress recommended. I pulled the young girl to the side and told her what excellent service we had received from herself and that she should be proud. When we carried on talking she said she had only been there 2 weeks. I walked out of there so happy the food and the service 5* from us on table 12 - food incredible and 5* service from Sammy

My friend treated me to lunch for my birthday after hearing good results for the food, with me being a coeliac. Firstly the waitress was very friendly and talked me through the gluten free menu. Unfortunately the chips weren't guaranteed to be safe but she was very enthusiastic about the boiled potatoes and also the quality of the meat. When I asked if the potatoes could be sauteed she said no they wouldn't do that. However, I settled on fillet medallions with a jacket potato. My friend chose a sirloin steak, also with a jacket potato. As soon as she cut into the steak she found it to be quite tough. The waiter offered to get another one for her which was extremely kind. Sadly the next steak was full of water which was so noticeable when looking at her plate. Again the waiter apologised and asked her if she would like something else. She declined as by this time I had nearly finished my meal. He came back to the table and said the manager would take the cost off the bill. He wasn't doing her a favour as she hadn't actually had anything to eat. She did order a dessert as she was quite hungry. A nice gesture would have been to give her that for free for the inconvenience. Sadly this restaurant certainly didn't live up to expectations and we won't be visiting again.

My family and I have been here on multiple occasions, we’ve had birthday meals and just a nice meal out. Every time our meals have been outstanding, staff have always been fantastic and more than happy to help. The rump steak and nachos are my favourite, would defiantly be coming back sometime soon and will be telling everyone about the grill house.

Have always liked going here but the last twice I have had a meal here my steak was very overcooked. Considering it's a Steak House this is disappointing, the very thing they should get right is a steak. Will give it another try though.

Good food but really shame about the service. Asked for menus and drinks several times. The bill took over 20mins to come. Won't be going back. Restaurant was half full with waitresses just idling around.

Visited the Grill House many times where a group of us meet up every 6 weeks or so.

We have been to this restaurant on quite a few occasions over many years and have always enjoyed our meals, the steaks are gorgeous and always cooked to perfection the sauces are to die for, I would highly recommend this place as the food is always consistent and staff are very polite and helpful, would book ahead though.

We love the Grill House, food is always great and good value for money. We visited for my birthday last night, service seemed alot worse than usual even from the guy on the phone when I booked to the waitress that served us, she didn't seem to want to be there at all. Food came very quickly though and cannot fault the kitchen team as it came out lovely, steak cooked perfect, boiling hot and everything tasty. I was very shocked though when I asked for some BBQ sauce and was told it would cost me 99p? I know it's only 99p but a bit tight charging for condiments in my opinion! But overall lovely food !

Last night my niece booked a table in this restaurant took us a while to find it as never heard of it . We were not disappointed my partner had the bonanza , myself and Simon had 10oz sirloin steak and my niece had chicken melt .Very impressive and our deserts were delicious too and price not to bad either . The staff were all lovely and restaurant was busy and warm . Good night was had by all .

My family and I love this place. We have never been disappointed with the food and the service is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. What a gem of a place.

Friendly, relaxed enjoyable steak house. Service efficient and attentive. Steaks seemed good quality and well cooked. Side dishes basic but tasty. Not an extensive menus but what was offered they did well. One Token fish dish and vegetarian option. Roomy not noisy. Would recommend and go back.

visited here 3 times now always good food and friendly staff as well. prices are very reusable. I recommend going after 12pm as its not that busy. try it you won't be disappointed

I have lost count how many times I have been to the grill house and once again the food was fantastic absolutely faultless the waitresses were great and nothing was to much trouble for them, I had the steak medallions and my wife had the tex mex steak, both meals were absolutely outstanding and both my wife and I cannot wait to go back

Went here with my wife. Service was quick and very good. Starter was ribs which fell off the bone, to follow i had a 16oz rump. Cooked perfectly. Fantastic meal and cant wait to return.

have been to this restaurant many times in the past and always had a good meal as we always go in a large family outing have had good service and food .this time we where a party of ten as normal .it was not busy this night so thought there would not be any problems . orders taken for starters and main meals .when the main meals where delivered after a long wait . orders where all wrong and some of the food was not cooked properly which was sent back . no apology given .sorry to say I think I will not be using here again

Yet again another fantastic meal served by very friendly and welcoming staff the food is absolutely amazing for the price! Always an efficient welcome at this restaurant, with a speedy meet and greet regime in place. However our first course of soup had not been checked and sent out barely warm. A speedy apology and replacement remedied the fault with an apology. The mains of steak was very acceptable whilst the sea bass was slightly overcooked but still ok. This could have been due to the delay on reserving the soup and the fish being kept hot. The sweets were very enjoyable followed by excellent coffee. Our waitress was first class in efficiency and smiles - well done.

We've been here several times and you're always guaranteed a 7 or 8 out of 10 meal with good value for money. We recently went with a large group and the staff were friendly and treated us well. The food always comes out fresh and piping hot too. The only thing that they could do to give it top marks is to provide more vegetable sides to come with the meals. E.g. the duck comes with potatoes or chips and cucumber chunks only...Be nice if they also did a seasonal menu to mix it up.

My niece was off to Las Vegas, so we met up before she went. Laura had already been recommended the BBQ burger by a colleague of her.It did not disappoint, service was lovely. Highly recommended, book in advance to avoid disappointment

First time at the grill house on a recommendation. We celebrate my sons birthday. We were seated at the rear near the fire exit. Our waitress was really good.

I must admit I was sceptical about going here, especially when I saw the building. We all had different steaks and they were excellent. My fillet steak was very tender. The wine list was limited and our waitress was devoid of any personality. The table next to us tried to engage her in a conversation but it was going nowhere. Had it been just the food I would have given five stars.

Just travelled from Peterborough to visit close relatives and took the opportunity (on their advice) for us all to visit The Grill House for an evening meal. We all had a great meal and drinks in this lovely restaurant at a very reasonable cost. The main waiter Keith was particularly welcoming and so friendly. The atmosphere in the whole place is excellent and the decor just right. It has now become our 'go to restaurant' for all future visits. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants great food, drink, service and atmosphere. Ample parking too!

Had a lovely birthday meal although we did find the staff a little too laid back in that they didn’t rush us but equally they didn’t clear our starters dishes until the mains started coming out. I had the Stilton medallions which were beautiful & the chips were excellent too- definitely not frozen! Good value for money.

Had a very enjoyable meal. I had prawn cocktail my husband garlic mushrooms, we both had steaks which were nicely cooked and I had the strawberry, raspberry and lemon torte and my husband had the jar of strawberries and ice cream. Would definitely go again

Visited the restaurant with grandchildren whom had gammon. It was very tasty and good portions i had medallions of steak and partner had chicken dish. Lots of sides although extra cost the meal was absolutely worth every penny. Lovely staff and great surroundings

Visited yesterday 11 th of August. Superb service unlike visit two weeks ago to Miller and Carter Killay where we waited 25 ms for a drink. Steak and meal was superb with full menu choice as always unlike our visit to M and C where they ran out of meat by 4.30!!!! Ambience great, instead of being surrounded by guests demanding to see the manager. Excellent bottle of wine and choice of real ales. Our bill yesterday was £57, in M and C £103. Guess which one we will return to?????

I book here often as I love the food and staff in charge, I am known to them as I book here so often, I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed, try the steak it's absolutely delicious & their desserts are to die for, My go to place for family meals and girly catch ups

Six of us there for a birthday evening out,waitress took our drinks order, then our meal order,the food was served promptly and good sized portions, wonder handcut chips, all meals were delicious, waitress asked us during our meal if everything was ok with our food, would definitely go there again

Invited to a birthday bash, never been before, greeted with a warm welcome while the table was completed, clearly our hosts were regulars and were greeted with affection, good choice of menu, delighted with most of the specials, the bass was cooked to perfection, only slight disappointment my wife's chicken escalope's which were on the griddle plate too long ending up overcooking despite being removed asap.

I rang the Grill House last minute yesterday as we fancied lunch out. Originally we went in the restaurant but I find it much comfier in the lounge so we asked to be moved which was done with no fuss.
