The Grill Room @ Airth Castle Hotel in Falkirk

Poeats to be closed but no sign up, they're still taking online bookings so I booked and made a trip to visit only to find it closed

First time I've been to the this place very clean and food very good. Marked this 3 out of 5 as found the staff eaten behind the counter a bit off putting. Surely you can eat out of the food preparation area. Wouldnt stop me trying it again though.

Was advised by guests at another hotel that Powfoulis Manor did excellent food so we called in on spec. We had a freshly cooked 4 course meal at £35 each, generous portions and very tasty. The restaurant was immaculately clean and staff attentive. Will return.

Gem of a traditional pub beside the canal. Warm and welcoming.

Right now it is closed for renovation ... opening within the year
