Had drinks and tapas there. Great atmosphere, food and service

First time here was recommended by a friend I was not disappointed we walked in and straight away made us feel welcome food was lovely and the coffee was good and service was good

Love this place, it is definitely our regular spot! Beats the big coffee shop chains by a mile, all of the staff are super friendly and professional, delicious baked goods and Kate makes the most perfect coffee every time 💪 you won't be disappointed

Nice place to have breakfast. We took the super breakfast bowl. Yoghurt with seeds, nuts, dates and a little peanut butter on the side, a well-fried egg for just £1 and 2 Blueberry pancakes with maple syrup. Coffee (latte) was ok.

Coffee expensive for a small cup. Panini's appeared to have a oil on the base of them. Taste was average. Only thing the next day my wife was poorly with a bad stomach ache. That was the only thing she had from our normal food.

Great little cafe. Came for lunch and was not disappointed. I had the Brie, bacon & chilli jam panini in the lunch deal (comes with fries) and it was delicious. Fries were perfect too, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. My husband had the bacon and sausage sandwich and fries and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Will definitely be coming back.

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Had the Bacon Sausage Sandwich with perfectly cooked Chips! Yum. Will return. Not costly either.

We are frequent visitors to The Hive. A lovely local establishment with the best coffee- especially a cappuccino or an iced coffee. Delicious cakes, bakes and other treats (the blueberry pancakes are brilliant!) Staff are always so friendly and helpful. We had our little boys 4th birthday party here, really recommend it for private hire, the food was absolutely amazing, so so tasty and plentiful and lots of choice, the kids loved the pizza and the grown ups loved the tapas. Support local and have a visit here!

Booked this gorgeous venue for a leaving do. We had an absolutely brilliant time. Drinks were flowing and the Food was spot on, absolutely gorgeous! Pete, Sonny and the boys were fantastic. In fact, not only for our Fridays coffe and cake we will return for more do's with you if you would be happy to have us back. 😁 Thanks again Pete , you truly have a wonderful place there. Stella

What a find!!! We stumbled across this for the first time for lunch at 1pm whilst property hunting and we are back for the second time for cake and tea! The food is AMAZING and the service top notch! I love finding little independent places like this and this is now a firm favourite on my routes! Coming back for tapas and tequila in an evening next! It’s also amazing value!!!!

Little hidden gem. Popped in to grab a coffee whilst my son was at football training and was pleasantly surprised. Staff are really welcoming and friendly, quiz master funny and atmosphere great.

Small independent place with great coffee! Went on a Sunday morning & it was fairly busy, had we got there any later we wouldn't have got a seat!

Been here few times now. Service is always welcoming and can't do enough to help. Make the kids extra cream milkshakes. Had food for the first time and will be having food a lot more. Great place and highly recommended.

This independent coffee establishment, situated on Fletton Avenue, may be easily overlooked, but doing so would be a grave error. They utilize small-batch Jute coffee using 100% arabica coffee from small cooperatives around the globe & roast all of their beans by hand in the UK which is perfect for their impressive array of homemade cakes. Established in 2020, they offer a diverse selection of hot and cold culinary options, serve alcoholic beverages until 23:00 daily, and frequently host live musical performances on Fridays. Furthermore, to enhance the experience, the establishment extends its hours of operation on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, during which a delectable selection of tapas is served. It is truly gratifying to encounter a coffee house that distinguishes itself by providing a distinctive experience and a welcoming atmosphere, whether patrons seek a coffee and a slice of cake or a beer, good company and great music. A new local favourite for me.

Nice and quiet, lovely little setting nice decor. Friendly staff. Lost a star due to very sticky menus and also not all clear as to what comes with what. Such as the lunchtime deal and the fact you can add bacon on to pancakes but it wasn't on the menu. Of course I could have asked, but I forgot and realised when they arrived. Very tasty though. I feel it would benefit from an updated menu and being able to find it online but other than that a lovely place and I would return.

When you miss being on holiday and say I wish we had a quirky, modern caffee where you can meet local, interesting people or just sip your drink in peace and then you pop into the Coffee Hive and feel instantly rejuvenated, so you ask yourself is it the coffee or is it the atmosphere of that place, and then don’t bother going anywhere else ever again. And then you live happily ever after, adequately caffeinated. P.S. Don’t dare asking for decaf.

Great place for a quiz, some live music or to sit with a laptop. Staff are great, really good food too.

By far the best coffee I've had in Peterborough and further afield. If you love properly made coffee you won't be disappointed. Food and service are absolutely great. It really is a perfect little spot. Oh and the peanut butter and chocolate flapjack is to die for!
