Having eaten at this venue I was pleasently surprised at the quality of the food and Trainee staff , I have now eaten at this resteraunt on a few occasions and I am never dissapointed . having gone through the same process myself I understand how nerve racking this is having gone through the same proces although I was doing a 4 year apprenticeshipso I was classicaly trained so I feel that putting my view down is important and also impartial. The meals are of a good standard and when you considor that these meals are cooked from scratch by students it puts other resteraunts to shame , I will write a more detailed review when I go back but it is well worth going the price is good and the food is of a high quality I am going back again to try more dishes my apoligies for not stating the meal I had as there has been so many all of which if good quality but I had to flag up this resteraunt all I can say is you have to go you will not be dissapointed.

Long overdue review as I was unable to find the TA site for here since the name change to The Chiterns Restaurant. Anyway, managed to get to one of the Theme Evenings last October (Italian night) and it was well supported and extremely good value at £20pp. Food, as usual, was plentiful, well presented and delicious. Popped in today for lunch, which at £9 for three courses is extremely good value. Shame not more people visit to sample their fare as the trainees do a sterling job. Can recommend a visit here if you’re in Dunstable during the week. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Our group of 12 had Christmas dinner at the college last night. Some had traditional Christmas dinner while others opted for the tasty alternatives. All the food (3 courses) was delicious. Ample portions of succulent tender meat and fresh veg. Lovely christmas pud and home made mince pies. We all thouroghly enjoyed our night at the colllege looked after by friendly helpful and attentive staff.

Wonderful cooked food in an exciting setting. Lunch and Dinner, with brilliantly supervised student caterers. Many types of cuisine, with regular themed dinners as well as daily a la carte dining.

What a menu great choices we thought, wrong, you got them all the fish course was far to big but to good to leave in all a wonderful evening enjoy by some 40/50 people all waiting for the next theme evening a snip at £18.00 per person the fish course alone was worth that.

On the recommendation of a friend, called in here for lunch, albeit with no reservation. Fortunately it wasn't busy and we were soon seated after being welcomed by one of the students. Excellent menu with four choices of starter, mains and desserts. At £6 for two courses, £7 for three, it is excellent value and there is a small wine list too. Our meals (guinea fowl and salmon for mains) were well presented, plentiful and delicious. We are keen to try one of their Theme Evenings in due course. The only problem with sharing news of this find is that it will undoubtedly become very popular and I may have problems in getting a reservation in future! Things to bear in mind: this is a training restaurant for students, not a 4* establishment (although the food is certainly better than I've had in some well known restaurants). They are there to learn and can sometimes be a little 'overwhelming' so be patient, your reward will, hopefully, be a delicious meal. Bon appetit! PS 'Hospitality Central' is not a very inspiring name for a restaurant and does not do justice to the quality and service.

Highly recommend. Food of exceptional high standard. Only complaint is that the background music could be turned down slightly.

FOOD - 5⭐️ The food was amazing, everything was tasty and delicious- and for someone who lived in turkey for 7 years it tasted the exact same. The portion sizing was quite big and I could have done with less chips with the lamb chops. SERVICE -4⭐️ we went on a Friday and it got quite busy. We had a lovely blonde English girl serving us who was very social and polite alongside making us feel very welcome here and not rushing us. Alongside her serving was a young girl lad who was again a polite chappy who had all the same qualities as her. I had to knock a star off of the service tho due to the amount of time the manager spent outside smoking. We were in for no long than an hour and 1/2 and he must of been outside 3 or 4 times whilst the young waiters were left to do everything. When he came in the subtle smell of smoke lingered too which slightly put us off. We also always tip in cash for the staff who served us the most to keep for themself and we saw them put in all in a pot so the main waitress/ waiter probably didn’t get they exact tip from us which was very disappointing due to them doing such a good job. When we come back to leighton- we will be sure to return!

I visited before for lunch with my dad and as we’re both Italian it was nice to find somewhere authentic. When I went for dinner (I have coeliac disease/I’m gluten free) I forgot to ask for gluten free pasta. When it arrived I realised, so apologised and asked for the GF version. The staff replaced it and apologised to me, I explained it’s me who should be apologising! I’d taken one bite before I’d realised, and the waiter came to check I was ok. They were so kind and didn’t charge me extra so I gave a decent tip. They allowed me to bring a cake, as it was for a birthday, and they brought the cake out singing Happy Birthday!
