Waited over 20 minutes on our food despite there bieng plenty staff shop seemed busy with phone orders,pizza was disgusting and the kebabs were just edible,first time eating here and won't be back

Got a fish super all Batter no fish it was that thin it was like paper one fillet of fish sliced into two think your getting two bits of fish but you are not they should be ashamed £9.50 it's a joke

Very disappointed with the time it took to get my food. They took my order and money as soon as I entered but despite the items I had ordered being clearly visible and available, I was left waiting for fully 15 minutes. The place was reasonably busy but i would have thought that the number of staff should have coped much better than they did. Eventually, I approached the girl on the till and asked to cancel the order as I wasn’t prepared to wait any longer. I was immediately served but given no explanation or apology for the excessive wait. Never again.

As it’s my birthday I decided to get a wee treat and have a calzone from the bridge , I do not usually eat fast food so I was looking forward to a wee change , I ordered the medium mixed calzone , at £11.50 you expect it to be decent , sadly it wasn’t , for starters it was cold throughout , lacked flavour and the actual pizza part was more like a soggy thick bread . Really disappointed , needless to say I won’t be back 👎🏻

Ordered a sausage supper.it’s not difficult.at this moment I have been waiting 1 hr 45 mins.avoid this place if you want food in a reasonable time.

We had a takeaway from here for tea. The fish was excellent but there was a tiny amount of average chips. I would have had more out of a couple of boxes of micro chips. I would go back but get a single rather than a supper as you don't get enough chips in a supper here.

If you are looking for a decent delivery service from this place you won't be getting it. I waited 1 hour and 40 mins after being told it would be with me in 45 minutes. I had to phone and chase it up twice. This is the second time this has happened to me, I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Never again. This place is living on their name. 😡

Ordered for delivery, took around 1 hour and a half and a phone call to arrive. Chips tasted like the card board box they were served in and the fish was like rubber. Just binned it.

I would like to receive a full refund for my order!!

Took over 2 hours to arrive, food was cold went right in the bin, something has changed as used too he my favourite chippy, won’t be back after tonight!

Waited over 2 hours for delivery for the food to be cold. The rudeness and the way they would lie to try handle the calls and tell you that your order had left the shop and it hadn't after 40 minutes of waiting longer. Asked for a chicken burger with lettuce and cabbage and as you can see it is brown vegetables that are not fresh. The blackpudding supper as cold and soggy. The chips were still uncooked with it being crunchy in several chips. This isn't the first time that this has happened and yet they don't actually care about presentation or the actual freshness of the food.

1 hour 30 delivery. Cold food. Missing juice called back up to see if they would send it to me. 1 hour later no juice. Very bad expierance this time around . Waste of money.

Very disappointed with quality of food, by the time it was delivered the batter on the fish was like rubber, delivery took over 2 hours as well, I won’t be ordering from the Bridge again.

Ordered at 5.15pm still not here! My daughter is 3 and now is getting dinner very late. Maybe before customers place order u update saying I are very busy and delivery times will be much longer.

Shocking delivery time, said it was going to be here for 17:30, then said 18:10. Still didn't arrive until 18:15. Never again, absolute shambles

No grease paper used and our fish was stuck to box and broken up but refunded and will order again as my fish supper any other time is great

Food was supposed to arrive between 6.15 and 6.35, at 6.45 I contacted the take away. At 7pm the food arrived but had clearly been microwaved. The kebab box was melted on the top and had a hole in it, the lettuce was hot and inedible, the kids drink was hot and the lolly pop was melted to the plastic wrapper. The fish was over cooked and not good. Very disappointed

Ordered at 6.20 pm its now 7.40 pm absoluteley ridiculous delivery time. Really pi**es me off when they say 40 to 50 mins and its now an hour and a half and still not here. 😡🤬

Absolutely shocking waiting time. Over 2 hours after ordering and it finally arrived. Waiting time estimated at 1 hour 30 minutes. Phoned company and got no where. Very disappointed!

Ordered a 12" pizza and a 10" came. Ordered 2 large chips and there was about half missing in both. Restaurant was not interested in listening

Ordered them 2 hours later hadnt received the order. Called the shop to be told there was an issue with just eat and that they hadn’t had an order from my address even though I’d had confirmation followed by a text saying it was on its way! Girl on the phone was less than helpful just kept saying “we’ve not had your order phone just eat” not even an offer to take an order over the phone. Extremely rude

We order from the bridge frequently, their fish and chips are fantastic but the contents of the munchie box were absolutely disgusting, Salad was browning, Onion rings tasted stale, Pakora had absolutely no flavour and the kebab meat was so bad I had to spit it out. Literally had to order something else for dinner. Severely disappointed.

Difficult to put the poor service into words, regularly slack on delivery. Been given the benefit of the doubt one times too many- shame as not a bad chip shop…

Food was delivered late, soggy and warm, not a great service for the cost!

Food arrived in the suggested time slot but 1 hr 40 is a bit much Pizza arrived and had clearly been tipped on its side as the toppings was all in one corner. Total disappointment.. managed to save one peace out the whole pizza.

Fish was dry and pizza was very sloppy the filling was like mush wouldn’t even stay on pizza the dough wasn’t cooked. It’s a shame as I’ve had better from there before.

First time ordering from here, as new to the area. Had a fish supper. Fish ×2 was fresh, crispy batter, tasty chips. Will definetely be ordering again. Generous portions. Really enjoyed it!

Ordered at 1710. Called at 1820 to be told it was on its way. Arrived at 1910 to be told by driver it was collected 10 mins ago. On the up side it meant the food was still hot. Don’t appreciate being lied to. Disgraceful service from a rapidly declining restaurant. Really disappointed. They need to either stop taking on line bookings or limit numbers so they can provide timely service.

A really wide variety of foods from this takeaway and you get a lot for your money! You also get 2 fish when you order a fish supper👍

My husband and I ordered a chicken tikka kebab and a volcano pizza last night for dinner. We have been unwell since, the chicken seemed off. One of my favourite places for takeaway but can’t face it now.

The food is ok but there is no queueing system so you have to ask everyone in the shop if they are being served and then the unbelievably unfriendly staff just shout NEXT!!! One woman is particularly unfriendly and says nothing when serving. Getting fish and chips shouldn’t be so stressfull.

My only suggestion is to have individual sauce tubs, the sauce dries into the food to quickly.

Always used to be my favourite pizza in the shire, but not any more. Base still not too bad, but the quality of their cheese and toppings has gone downhill big time. Chips still great, but pizza is boggin

A REAL improvement. Only 1hour late and not 1.5-2h this time!!! Honestly don’t know why I still bother I guess I remember the “good old days” when they’d have given a reason, an apology & an ETA. Nowadays they just bark at you that it’s “on it’s way” when it’s definitely not yet been cooked lol... or they tell you it’ll be The Bridge Standard “20mins” lol... Never does a driver apologise or acknowledge, either. They’re just trying to “fix” the Just Eat stats by saying everything was delivered on time as this is why they don’t mark anything as running late & you never get a text to advise you of the delay. Time to tell Just Eat and approach it that way and stop moaning on here I suppose... clearly they don’t read them. I’d at least respect them a bit more if they replied to complaints. Says it all really. Wee shame as the food is ok (gone downhill right enough but maybe that’s cos it’s always cold).

The food is great here but literally not a *single* delivery goes without some kind of hiccup. Food is regularly out of stock despite being listed and not being marked as sold out. They more regularly than not miss items out your order - cans, sides, sauces especially. They almost never pay attention to salt/vinegar so make sure you have some in. It’s almost always considerably late (EG tonight it’s beyond its delivery time already and they’ve only just called to say they don’t have what we’ve ordered ha). A better organised/run shop would be a constant 10/10 as the food is brill and it’s really clean.

The Kababs ordered were large and we received small , Meat was cold and salad was just lettuce

I JUST WANT WHAT I'VE PAID FOR. The "homemade" macaroni cheese looked disgusting and was subsequently left for the cat (so much so that my cat even turned her nose up at it). It was VERY watery with only the merest hint of cheese on it. Also the order was wrong as I payed for 1 x large chips and 2 x regular chips but received 3 x regular chips. Never mind as long as "the bridge" can line their pockets at their customers expense by any means necessary, then why should they care? It's a shame as for a years this used to be one of the most famous and finest chip shops around (and indeed Scotland). It certainly appears that they are living off past glories. I suppose all good things come to an end.

Food was cold, I asked for 3 buttered rolls not 3 buttered burger buns, waste of money !!!

The service was great from the staff and the food was awsome, the only let down was the time for expected delivery. I personally think there should be a warning before you pay asking if you are sure you wish too wait around 2 hours before you submit your order. I cannot fault the staff they allowed us to change to pick up the order instead as it would be quicker. I feel this is not the restaurant that's at fault more the just eat page.

Not the best quality or price, chips were undercooked and for £4.50 expected a lot more than a child’s portion of chips and curry sauce. As for the burger £6.50 for a small burger that had been over cooked with a minuscule amount of donner meat is not on.

Food was okay but wasn't very hot. Fish was lovely, pizza crunch was a bit tough but it was nice. Chips were really good, could tell they were fresh but i think the issue with the heat of the food was too many deliveries out at the same time. Food was 20 mins late.

Good food but shame it was spoiled by being so late. It was due to be delivered in 35 mins, it took 65 mins. I phoned to query when the food was being delivered and I was told my order had left 1 minute ago, then my food arrived within the next minute. Not good customer service.

Ordered the 2 large haddock suppers , an hour and a half for delivery is ridiculous , then a good half of each of the fish were burnt , tasted as if it was fried in oil that needs changing and as if fried more than once. Won’t order again !
