Great Chippy popped in on way home working in alva must say way better than any chippys in fife ***** 5 stars for me

I ordered two fish suppers which was mostly batter. The chips were solid also and had to all go into the bucket. I raised my complaint the next day and wasn't entertained nor given an apology or refund. The shop is only open 25 hours a week (on a good week) and closed on a Sunday? I now outsource for my fish suppers,won't be back there.

We had a fish supper and single fish last night as there were 2 of us. One fish supper would have been plenty!! It was roasting hot, very fresh and very tasty. Our first visit as we’re relatively new to the area but we’ve found ‘our chippie’ and we will be back 👍🏻

Do not waste your money Paid £24 for 2 fish and chips and a steak pie. Got home to find the chips were.semi hot and the fish stale and obviously a reheat. The food ended cup in the bin. I complained that night and although he said to bring it back we had just returned from a 16 hour journey, very tired and in no mood to drive back I contacted Fabio the next day to ask for replacements only to be met with abuse and denial.. The other negative reviews are a poor reflection on this business.so don't waste your.money.

Whenever possible we visit Fabio's. We used to have Mo's Plaice and alternated between the two, however Mo retired and sold the shop. Since then we only go to Fabio's unless we happen to be in Anstruther or Pittenweem. If you have never been to Fabio's you will be happy that you have read this and found them. If you have been to Fabio's then you already know you will get a quality product at a fair price from friendly people. What more could you want? What are you waiting for? Dinner yonight is calling you to Fabio's!

Our favourite chippy in the area. Fish (haddock) supper is the best. Always fresh and friendly service. They don’t deliver but you can phone order ahead.

So decided to try here after finding it on a chippy search, staff really friendly plenty of parking outside decent menu options & not to pricey overall happy with the meal everything cooked to perfection and really nice fish. The portion size is amazing especially for the price, 5* for my personal experience. I'll be back to try something else next time cheers 😎

Very disappointed in our Chippy tonight been going here for a few years but feel it’s slipping last time felt the portion were smaller than normal, But tonight proved it’s definitely smallest amount of chips in both orders Fish one was average the other was very small . King Rib was ok but the smallest amount of Chips , I rather pay extra for what used to be quality. Sadly it’s lost quality

The breaded fish is beautifully cooked and a perfect meal with the chips on the side. To finish of ask for the homemade cupcakes which are delicious.

We ordered two fish suppers on Saturday... unfortunately, the fish was pretty dry and tasteless. Would have given three stars, but I do realise that even the very best chippers have "off-days" and we normally get fab f&c here...so I've given 4

1/2 pizza and chips £6 😵only taking cash !!! Wasn't £6 on menu !! Never again

Absolutely amazing food! We ordered 2 fish suppers and honestly I can say this is the best chippy in the shire. I’ve never been before and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We both are very picky eaters and the fish was done to perfection, the chips were brilliant and the staff were lovely. The staff went above and beyond for us. We will definitely be returning.

Just had a bite to eat from here,I had a white pudding supper and my husband had a smoked sausage supper. Best we've had in a long time. Everything was perfectly cooked. Thanks guys. Will definitely be back.

Major improvements, very busy and main thing I have now visited 3 in the past 2 week and fish suppers are excellent.

This place is not even worth one star but I had to give it at least one in order to leave a review. I bought fish a few weeks ago and it was 95% batter. I thought I was just unlucky so I bought fish again today and again it was all batter which was brick hard so it's now in the bin. I called to complain and spoke to the the owner who was very rude, not even an apology. Don't waste your money like I did, what a rip off. Here's a tip for the owner, learn some customer service! In reply to the owners comment regarding my review, I did indeed get the correct shop. I did not however appreciate being yelled at and talked over when all I did was complain. A simple apology would have been sufficient.

Was great chicken supper on sat night

Fish and chips, and the usual Scottish chip shop offerings, freshly cooked. The food looks, tastes and smells fresh and clean, you know it's been carefully prepared. The chips are properly light and crisp outside, fluffy inside, and are hand cut. Huge portions of fresh hand-cut haddock (half portion is available). Maybe not the cheapest but you do get a good size meal and it's always great quality making it good value for money. Easy parking and convenient location. Queues outside is always a good sign!

I’ve been buying from Fabio’s Fish and Chip Shop over the last 5 years and went there because they were close but now we are happy that it is close since it’s been taken over by new management. Helpful staff. Much improved food and the prices have been reduced. Ideal. We had a lovely couple of fish suppers, tasty fish and a very good battered haggis too.

A shame there are not more reviews for Fabios. Ignore any older reviews since changed ownership in February 2020 and before it was rubbish. I work in catering and this is the best chippy in the whole county with full size hand cut haddock, none of the small block haddock, and amazing batter. Nico and his wife used to run the chippy in the town of Clackmannan, they are both lovely people who work so hard and show a passion to produce great food seldom seen these days. Clackmannan’s loss is Tillicoultry's gain. Make the trip a must visit.

Fantastic service!!! I asked if they could batter veggie sausages for me, so I could have a veggie sausage supper for the first time. This was no problem at all! The chips were also very tasty!! I will be back 😊😋

Was a tourist to the area, A boy working the till made us feel very at home. Recommended nice spots and areas for us to visit. Reasonable prices and v good service however I felt the pizza after a few minutes started to become rather soggy. However service made my experience great. Would go again!

This is our local fish and chip shop and I am so glad it is, this is one of the best, if not the best chippy I have ever been to, the fish supper consists of a thick piece of fish beautifully cooked and the chips are proper chips shop chips, try it you will not be disappointed.

Ok, so it's a chippy, so don't expect Haute Cuisine, but it's a pretty good chippy. Scampi was crisp and generous, the chips hand cut and perfectly cooked, the haggis nice and spicy and not greasy, and the pizza was better than some I've had in restaurants.

Favourites spicy haggis , and they make the pizzas from scratch , I like a crisp bottom , no problem just say what you prefer

Went earlier this week and had a fish supper, a sausage supper and a single mince haggis. Everything was cooked to perfection and wasn't greasy at all.

We went here on Saturday night for special fish supper & black pudding supper.... not a bit greasy everything was how it should be and more!
