Great atmosphere and great staff, but unfortunately, hot bud not good

Always a good night at the bankhouse when I've been there and good food also the people behind bar always nice .

We popped in on our way home as we were trying a few pubs since moving to the area, we sat at a cozy couch near the door, it was very busy, lots of people eating, the meals looked good, but we were only drinking. I tried one of the cocktails, and my other half had a pint, then a rum and coke. We will be back for more, very reasonable prices, might even try a meal. The staff were extremely friendly, made us feel welcome and my favourite part, it is cash only! I hate places who say you can only pay by card, because we usually like to take cash out on a night out.

Great place, great staff and is hub for the local team st Mirren. Food is great sometimes too much to be fair I’m greedy lol. Karaoke is brilliant also ☺️ and so is live bands.

I ordered the Mac and Cheese chips and garlic bread. .. . Amazing x SOOOOO cheesy . My partner had chicken pakora and mozzarella sticks and garlic mushrooms were amazing .... Staff are attentive and helpful .... Would definitely thank Taylor for serving us x Would definitely be back for food

Just had an amazing Christmas Dinner for 6 at the Bankhouse. Three courses, each dish was just delicious. I had Prawn cocktail, Glazed ham and finished off with sticky toffee pudding. Each plate for each course was cleared, as was the plates of the other five. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Proper pub not far from Paisley Gilmour Street railway station. Friendly staff. Reasonable selection of drinks though many of the taps have been off on the past few visits. The best karaoke in Paisley on weekends (Fri/Sat) by far (and I'd argue better than any you'd find in Glasgow too!) - great setup, fair queueing system, get through songs quickly with no breaks between songs with wireless mics and loads of screens for lyrics and great punters. Also takes card.

Great bar , lovely atmosphere and not had food but they sell a lot , must be decent. Live music , very good prices. Warm and friendly.

Excellent. This is now our favourite destination. Staff are all very friendly. If there is anywhere within a 50mile radius offering better steak pie at this price I've yet to go there. Normally I'd take chips, those served here are quite unique and excellent, however, recently I've opted for mash which is terrific and huge!. Easy 5⭐️.

This is a very "basic" pub decor-wise. You could be put off when you walk in for lunch. BUT...they have a SUPER varied food menu (pages of it!). The food itself is EXCELLENT with big portions. And the prices are very reasonable. PLUS the service is excellent. Friendly staff, attentive without being intrusive. Small but VERY CLEAN Ladies toilet (effort has been made there). Don't let appearances fool you...for lunch, this place is a GEM!!

Popped into the Bankhouse for breakfast one morning and both the quality of food and service was entirely satisfactory. Have made subsequent visits for lunch. The menu is as varied as most people would require it to be with the bar being well stocked. This is a well run establishment with delightful staff, where the prices are reasonable. It is in a good location close to the rail station and town centre. Well worth a visit

Food is an unknown as 5pm on a Saturday no food available but other tables were getting food not me or my wife a drink the a takeaway for elsewhere

Standards are falling. place is grubby , sticky tables . Dirty toilets , bar area needs a good scrub & regular hygiene

This place has massively improved. Was in years ago and was randomly Glesga Kissed in the bathrooms. No one could have cared. It got draged outside. Still no one cared aha. Buuuut then was in recently for a birthday celebration & we heard the karaoke. Completely made our evening had a laugh. The guy was a champion. Got them all singing. Aswell as sang them happy Birthday. What a night. So all n all I'd say it's a banging pub! Good prices too. Sometimes you need to love the dive bar and it ain't anymore. Yet I still love it!

Decent enough place, does not have real cask ale nor does it have any craft beer on tap. And I find it is a little on the pricey side.

Honestly thought it lacked atmosphere I'm sure when it is busy it's a better night and the food is amazing but overall I just thought it could and should be better as it has a prime location in paisley

Bar staff were really nice. Chilli nachos were rubbish. Found a few pieces of what resembled meat but that was it. Overloaded with greasy cheese.

Very little regards for current rules. Also on the day we were there it was cash only wich was a big problem for most as for last two years they have not wanted cash . Staff had very little interest in customers when they got oder wrong shrugged there shoulders and said its pourd now . Not just to us but three more I heard off

Brilliant wee place. Love the food but i admit a little bias due to years of patronage. Friendly place, a haven for St Mirren fans, good food and reasonable prices. Wont satisfy everyone due to personal tastes etc but long established great place.

Had lasagne chips and garlic ciabatta.had to wait about 30 minutes but it didnt disappoint. Food was lovely and the lady that served us was equally nice.
