This is a gem. Great atmosphere great staff and prices are excellent. Still the best pub in Paisley.

Truly a great place for a night out, crowd is varied and staff are brilliant as is the karaoke DJ they have. A brilliant place if you want to unwind and have some fun

Discovered this great establishment due to the 38 bus service route constantly getting cancelled every 10 mins from paisley to Glasgow. Eventually had to pop in to use the ladies facilities and so glad I did. The staff were lovely/friendly and made you feel very welcome. Ended up having a wine and chatting with bar staff whilst waiting for the next bus to turn up. Will def return in the future when not waiting on a poor bus service and bring friends/ family, as the events I found out from staff that this bar offers such as quiz nights/ karaoke / live music sound brilliant and menu sounds lovely too💜💜

Visited just after the New Year,had been a few years since I frequented the Anchor, it's under new management and the two of us were made to feel welcome, Danny the barman was a great host and hopefully won't be as long till our next visit 👍

After a nice lunch out, 5 of us went in for a drink. It was a surprise to see the karaoke starting with Karen. She was a fab singer! Nice wee afternoon.

Another great evening of live music, only damper being this was the last night due to inconsiderate neighbours.

Great wee local boozer, highly recommend karaoke on wed Fri sat and Sunday, live bands most Sundays too. Staff are amazing!

Great, friendly bar with karaoke most nights, a monthly live open mic music night last Tuesday of the month and a live band on Sunday afternoons.

Loved it, friendly, good atmosphere.

If you like drinking alcohol you'll love the Anchor.

Great staff and entertainment every night . The staff know all their customers' names and if anyone new comes into the bar, they ask their names. It is not my regular pub , but not once have they forgotten my name . They chat to customers and sing their hearts away to the music . A hidden gem of a pub ✨️.

Absolutely brilliant place, went for the karaoke last night with my partner and auntie and we had a ball. Staff are great and friendly and the Paisley townfolk are friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back for more karaoke 😁

Pop n for a few an wish I didn't. The bar staff member is shocking. Swore a fair bit an is of very Loud . Then moans about no juke box being played. Defo won't be back n here an absolutely joke so called quiet pint

I like the atmosphere there and the prizes are fine. However, the upper floor is a bit tight, if you are a bigger group. One point minus because, I once ordered a pizza and shortly after I left the bar, the pizza left upwards through my throat (don't want to write it to explicit...)

The Anchor is one of the best and most friendly pubs in Paisley! Michelle and the staff pay great attention to meeting customers’ needs providing an excellent service. Many people will be so disappointed to see Michelle and Mark leaving in June as a result of the greed of PUNCH TAVERNS the owners who are demanding the price of a pint should be increased by an inordinate amount. Local people will be penalised by the stupidity of this company and we are losing a very well respected and fantastic landlady. Colin from Paisley

Barmaid poured a drink when optic was still filling.. As there was 8 of us all wanting different amount of ice.. Explain this to barmaid.. Asked for a glass of ice let them help them selfs.. Was told it was EASIER for the bar maid to put ice in the glass. This was said with really bad attitude... It has never been a problem in the pass.. Let it go as was Xmas night out and was not letting anything spoil it.. Then soon colleges decides to get photos with Xmas decorations.. Was then shouted at by a fowl mouth barmaid not to touch the decorations.. This manner and attitude was unexceptable.. Many a good night we have had in this establishment and spent lots of money.. But never again.
