We had stopped eating here for a while as a couple of times we had eaten there last year, the food felt watered down. We were struggling to find a new Thai so thought we’d give it another go. We decided to eat in on a Tuesday night. When the food came it was again at its exceptional standard. Full of flavour and aromatic. We had asked them to omit any bean sprouts and add a little more chilli. We had the prawns with basil and chilli, green prawn curry and the pad kee mao. The only thing that let the dishes down a bit was the fact that they added mushrooms to the pad kee mao and the prawns with basil. I don’t ever remember these dishes containing mushrooms? Otherwise exceptional dishes.

Usually love Thai Town, and I usually praise it to the heavens, but the last two visits were not good. One occasion we ate in the other we had a takeaway. Both times the dishes lacked flavour and were too oily. The Pad See Ew lacked flavour and too oily we had both a chicken and prawn one, the prawns in basil and chili watery and lacked substance and punch. The Green Chicken curry was the only redeeming dish. What a shame as it was a real saviour takeaway place during Covid.

Honestly divine. One of the only places that serves genuinely tasty food. I had a takeaway last night and it was so good I wanted to call the chef and tell him myself. Highly recommend the Panang and Massaman curries. Bursting with flavour.

We have ordered countless takeaways from Thai town over the last few years and it has remained consistently good with a bit of a dud meal on very rare occasions. We think the quality, taste and value for money is excellent sticking to a selection of starters, curries and specials. It's a lovely gem of a place in Colliers Wood.

ordered here about 20 times since Lockdown 1. Its now a weekly favourite. Assuming you like the spicier Thai menu items, Pad Kee Mow is excellent and has Thai basil for an authentic flavour. Pad Si Eew noodles are also good, as is the (unauthentic but fun) Udon udon noodle dish. Curries are pretty good - but somehow don't have the killer spice mix/umami which the really good places do - they get a 7/10 from me. Still good if you really really want a Thai curry but Rosa's curries are better. The mixed starters with chicken satay and Thai fish cakes and prawn toast is good, as is the soup. Still if you are nearby, this place is a must-try. Lovely Thai staff as well.

- chicken was poor quality. Tasted off and rubbery. - asked for a stir fried rice dish. And I checked I would get rice 3 times on the phone. I was told yes. - collected my food, only to get home and realise it was just the stir fry - no rice. - I called back and they said they don’t do stir fried rice dishes in the evening - why didn’t they tell me that when I ordered! - they take cash only which isn’t exactly hygienic during Covid.

Although it is only takeaway at present this little place gives great value for money and good food as well. Nicely served in containers that keep the food hot, it is a great option and the staff are friendly too

This is not a Thai restaurant, at least the take away food is clearly Chinese adapted, which is fine if it’s nice and the chicken with lemongrass was, though there was no lemongrass in sight or taste, but the Thai green curry tasted of cheese, that’s not right, I had to through it away in case it was rotten. Disappointed.
