Visited yesterday evening for our sons birthday. Staff were very friendly, food was excellent, ambience was great. We wanted to try a dessert but all of us were absolutely stuffed! Would definitely recommend 👌

Had lunch here today and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and generous portions. We have eaten here several times before and have never been disappointed.

Eaten here many times over the years, recently visited a couple of times and was just as good as I remembered. Excellent food and service.

Food didn't take that long to cook and deliver (on a Thursday evening), maybe 45 min. Dishes were to their usual high standard; delicious.

What a shame we have always enjoyed going here.But unfortunately that’s changed the waitress with red Nike trainers on was very rude.She said we ordered too much food.My boyfriend eats loads and even if we had left any we are paying the bill.She pulled faces and said no that’s too much.Then she wrote down the wrong dish and blamed us!! So rude.

Absolutely disgusting service. We ordered a takeaway at 5.45 to be delivered at 6.55. By 7.15 it hadn’t arrived so we rang and they said it was out for delivery. By 7.45 it still hadn't arrived so we rang again. They said it was still out for delivery again when we rang at 8. By 8.15 we were absolutely starving and she said they were only just preparing it! Absolutely terrible. It still hasn’t arrived nearly 2 hours later. Really disappointed and will never use them again.

We came up in November and just had amazing food so thought that I would pop in again as I was up this way. As good if not better. I took the recommendations of the waitress and it was just yummy, hot and very tasty indeed. All in all a great experience and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you.

I ordered Thai Red curry rice and another order for later after work was absolutely outstanding loved it !!!! Even my 12 year old thought it was amazing

This is the second time I have ordered food from here and no it is not the worse takeaway I have ever had but the second time has made me want to never order from here again. The first time I ordered from here it was okay but some of the same problems encountered again were even worse the second time around. Food took over 2 hours to arrive and when it did most of it was barely warm, all of it was soggy (Tempura and spring rolls) as I'm guessing it was left under or in a heater for so long. Any rice or noodles where so compacted you had to cut them with a knife to separate them! The rest of the food was to cold to eat so was left. All in all very bad and would recommend to avoid at all costs.

I’ll start by saying I considered up until now, the Thai Sabai to be my favourite restaurant. I’ve been loads and I’m always recommending it. But tonight was bad, and I couldn’t see any real reason for it but bad attitude from staff…the lady in charge mainly. Service was awful, not at all attentive and we felt we got tutted at whilst our table waited for someone. We didn’t get asked for drinks when we arrived and had to remind staff on several occasions that we’d ordered more. There were multiple wrong drinks and food and then over charging of multiple items when it came to the bill. Staff ended up arguing with us about a wrong item on the bill, insisting several times that it was correct. They had no interest in the customer being right or trying to understand our concerns. We were a table of 7 and spent a lot but our customs would have been better appreciated elsewhere. We heard staff talking about our bill and it seemed to become quite the issue, we even got an eye roll as we tried to explain why the bill was wrong. The young staff seemed encouraged to insist we were wrong by the woman in charge. It’s made me hesitant to return, it seems like bad attitude from those in charge on the night, breeding further bad attitude and service from the young staff. Shame when the food is so good..but unfortunately not good enough to put up with bad service.

Two of us dined at 7.00pm on a Saturday; the place was healthily busy. Mixed thai starters for two a must of course, which you get with a nice selection of dips. Her ladyship went for her thai favourite - green thai beef curry - whereas I chose the crispy pork belly, which I did not finish, finding no crispiness and a fair bit of chewiness. The mains were accompanied by Pad thai, and Rice supplemented with seafood, chicken, etc. A chocolate ice cream, and Rambutan (a bit like lychees) with ice cream finished off nicely. The service was not quite up to Thai Sabai's usual, with servers having to be reminded multiple times about the refill drinks we had ordered but not arrived.

Visited for a weekday lunch, waitress was pleasant and the food delicious, we had starters off the main menu and then a main course from the lunch time menu. Found the price to be reasonable too.

I have coeliac & was treated badly here. The waitress was miserable and I was only offered one meal alternative no starter. I had to sit & wait while my family ate their starter, before having the only meal on offer! Spoilt the occasion so do not recommend to anyone with any allergies.

Very decent food and surroundings, good choices on menu. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by gossiping, giggling (British) waitresses who took away the quiet relaxing Thai atmosphere that we hoped for. Probably not a problem when the restaurant is busy!

Thai Sabai is our go-to take away locally. The staff are great and the food is always lovely. Since lockdown they have been great with delivery, always arriving on time.

I rung this evening to order a delivery as according to there app online they deliver to Digby. I spoke to a lady on the phone and the reply was we don't deliver to Digby as it's near Lincoln. On there app (delivery map) they deliver to the Pinfold, Digby. My question was going to be would they deliver the next street down in Digby and I never got a response as they put the phone down on me.

We’ve been here a couple of times pre lockdown and it’s always been good, but this time when we went it was really great. The food was SO fresh and tasty. Really liked the attention to detail with the cutting of the vegetables. The chicken satay was one of the nicest I’ve had. Socially distancing was observed and the service was excellent. Don’t know if there is a new chef or something but could not fault it. Thank you

There is only one thing to say about the Thai Sabi in sleaford, it’s spectacular! The food is amazing. Get yourself there and enjoy the food and service from the attentive staff. Awesome

Meeting an old mate halfway (Yorkshire and Norfolk) Sleaford looked ideal. This is not the most Thai of Thai restaurants, the decor being a tad plain, but I couldnt fault the £7.50 per head lunch mains options, albeit with meat an extra £1.50. Preceeded by a very spicy clear soup it made for a very pleasant hour or so. My mussaman chicken curry was delicately spiced and creamy tooPleasant and attentive service combined with Rishi in the chair made for a good afternoon

Had a great anniversary meal. Set menu for two, a bottle of red wine and a liqueur coffee. Great service, lovely staff. Tables spaced well for social distancing. A surprise when paying the bill there was £20 off, unexpected bonus. We've been here several times in the past few years and will certainly be going again, highly recommended.

Our daughter booked this for us and it didnt disappoint. We were a little worried about going out for a meal but all the safeguards were in place. The table was cleaned before we sat down, the staff were wearing masks and there was plenty of hand sanitiser around the building should you want to use some.The food was delicious and were were very full when we left. Excellent value for money.Staff were very pleasant and helpful to.Would heartily recommend if you are in the area.

The food at Thai Sabai is great but don’t expect to get what you actually ordered. We have just received prawn pad Thai instead of chicken and this is the third time there has been a mix up with our order. Last time we had beef massamam instead of chicken and the time before they forgot our drink for the order. Love the food but I will not keep ordering a more expensive take away when you don’t even get what you order.

we had a meal for four in an evening, having never been before we booked in advance (but the booking wasn't noted when we arrived but luckily the ad room).the staff were friendly and talkative. the was a very loud group which they apologised for. the menu was varied and food service was good. the food was tasty without being exceptional.

Having visited on numerous previous occasions I was looking forward to a good evening of tasty food and timely service, alas how wrong I was. The food to be fair was tasty but definitely let down by a distinct lack of temperature and the service time was atrocious, from starter to main we waited in excess of 40 minutes, with a total time of nearly two hours for two people to eat two courses. Even as I was paying the staff were apologising so even they were aware.This has severely tainted my view of the Thai Sabi and it will be a long while before I return, if I do at all. Overall a very poor experience

We have visited tonight to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I know a fare amount about Thai food after being trained as a chef in Thailand and also owning my own restaurant in the uk, so this is a honest reflection of the food and service, we where greeted by a lovely young western girl and she couldn’t have been more helpful.We ordered soup, ribs, and various mains, they all where cooked perfect The dessert of sticky rice and baked Thai custard where brilliant We spent including a tip £60 for 2 for 3 courses We will definitely be back and we thank you for a wonderful evening

I have been to Asia and paid alot less for much better food! My partner got a magnet in his food and I had tinned new potatoes in my dinner. They were rubbery and awful! Avoid this place at all costs.

Found this beautiful Thai restaurant whilst passing through Sleaford. Arrived just after 5 pm when it opened so we were the only customers in. Very friendly service decent sized menu at a reasonable price. Food was very good and decent sized portions female staff wore Thai outfits which was a nice touch. Very pretty restaurant. Would definitely recommend

We are frequent guests in Thai Sabai. Good food and very attentive staff. Sometimes dishes are not as warm as supposed to be, but its enough to ask for heating it bit more and its done. Tasty and plenty, with possibility to take leftovers home.

All said and dine it was a good evening, good service good food, we had some people with food intolerances and the staff tried their best to help and advise with that. One of these friends could not eat rice so ordered a side of stir fried veggies to go with her curry ......... then the bill comes ....... and the charge for this side almost £9 !!!!

Visited here for the first time with friends and their family for a birthday surprise meal. What a lovely restaurant. Great ambience, friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. One of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. However, the service was brilliant for the starters and mains, but then was let down by the wait for taking the dessert order. Overall though, I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return.

Stunning food - felt we were back in Thailand. Tasty, spicey when it should be and good helpings. Regular for us now. Tip - check you have your full order before leaving: we had to cook more rice when we got home.

We had an evening meal here with our granddaughter to introduce her to Thai cooking. We ordered a selection of dishes to share and she enjoyed everything she ate!

Friends who recently moved to Sleaford took us to this restaurant when we went to visit them recently and whilst having little knowledge of Thai cuisine thoroughly enjoyed our experience.The food was goo and very tasty (we had one of the set menus) ,the staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.Would I go again ,yes but next time I would probably branch out from the set menu and go a la carte for greater variety and choice but a very enjoyable experience

We had an excellent lunch here for our wedding anniversary recently. The food was amazingly delicious. The service was also excellent. The lunchtime prices were good value although i chose from the main menu. I thoroughly recommend eating here for any occasion.

It was very busy when we arrived. Long waits for service, drinks and meals. was shoved at the back where there's no atmosphere even though we had pre booked. Food was ok. I'll not be rushing back.

If you are not firmiliar with Sleaford this restaurant is hidden down a predestrian area just off the high street. Once inside do not be deceived by the number of tables you see as there are plenty more on the second floor. The restaurant offers eat in and takeaway options. Having been to Thailand recently the menu choice gives a true representation of Thai food on offer ranging through the kaleidoscope of coloured curries (red, yellow, green) all varying in intensity of heat (chilli) if you request less heat then they will willingly tone it down. The different set men’s are a favourite of ours and you can change odd dishes to suit. The mixed starter platter is another favourite which has 5 different elements with dipping sauces. The staff are very welcoming and offer advice on dishes if requested. The restaurant also has traditional beers from the area (I cannot comment on the wine as I don’t tend to drink it, but there is a good selection.

I have eaten at many Thai restaurants up and down the country. This Thai restaurant from the service to the food is amazing. Highly recommended. Already contacted local colleagues to inform them.

On entry on average day you will be greeted by smiles and a friendly face , you will give your coat and be taken to your table.

Visited here recently after hearing good things, and being a big fan of Thai food. In no way were we disappointed by the food, it was delicious, but the service isn’t great. The girls waitressing were friendly and pleasant, but clearly very busy which meant long waits to order drinks/food. We will definitely return for the great food, even if it is on the pricey side for a restaurant in sleaford.

We moved to Sleaford around a year ago and have tried the vast majority of restaurants in the area. We have started going to this one two or three times a week. Superb Thai food - rich in flavour, always piping hot, served really quickly.This is fabulous, authentic Thai food - on a par with the best Thai food we tried in London. Sleaford is lucky to have this restaurant - in my view it's the best restaurant in the area and surely can't have a Thai rival in the East Midlands.

Went on a date night and was very pleasantly surprised. On arrival, we had a lovely welcome. Whilst ordering our food, the waitress, who was lovely, brought over me partners gold bracelet which had come off. He hadn’t even noticed, and was chuffed to bits that she had even given it back. Anyway, from the service to the food, everything was all as we had wished for. If I had to give a Criticism, it would only be that towards the end of the meal, we got a little chilly. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Authentic Thai food served in pleasant environment with really friendly staff that makes your meal value for money. We have been numerous times in the last three years and the food is consistently good and would recommend the battered prawns as a starter.

Order take out last night. Picked it up within 20 mins of placing the order. We Order vegetable fried rice for my daughter as she is a vegetarian and find chicken pieces in her rice. My daughter have to throw it away. Truly disappointed. Money wasted!

Really pleased with our visit to Thai Subai. Beautifully decorated, authentic-feeling surroundings that were clean and welcoming. The girls serving were sweet, attentive and pleasant, and the food came out very fast (maybe a little too fast, but everything was hot and seemed fresh). We had fish cakes, satay chicken, veg soup, chicken green curry, chicken mussaman, duck pat thai noodles and rice between us and everything was very good. The soup was quite spicy so I asked for the curries to be milder, and they obliged without any issues. We were delighted when the chef came over to check we were enjoying the food, (but probably more to see who the wimps were that needed such mild food). We've just moved to the area so really pleased that have found what will hopefully become our regular Thai place.

Tried to order a takeaway, got sniggered At because I didn’t know what some delivery app was! Passed to someone else who advised they didn’t deliver outside of 3 miles, zero customer service, no empathy.nothing. You just lost a £50.

Every time we’ve been in here we’ve had fairly incapable wait staff. They’ve either had no capacity to deal with our requests, or comment about the amount of food we get (not nice being told we eat too much food is it), or make us wait an hour for food, don’t apologise, and then don’t give us our change and assume it’s a tip. Food good tho.

We’d spotted his restaurant a few weeks back and thought the menu looked great. We were in the area for opening time 5pm and thought we’d try. Really pleased we did The food and service was excellent. I’ve eaten in a few different Thai restaurants over the last 12 months and this certainly one of the best. Cosy, well decorated with lovely fresh tastey food. Can personally recommend Tom Kai with king prawn beautiful and the Kataim Prik Tai Nau which was a garlic stir fried beef really nice too

We chose to have the £25 for 2 menu and the choices were fabulous.. between the 4 of us we ordered chicken satay, ribs and spring rolls for starters followed by Pad Thai, Yellow chicken curry, chicken stir fry, wirh Jasmine rice.. the food was hot well presented and absoloutley delicious thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Our young waitress was lovely and very attentive. Lovely evening fabulous meal

This restaurant remains the best in Thai food between Lincoln & Peterborough in my view. Only spoilt on our Saturday evening visit by 3 young staff members waiting on the tables who couldn't raise a smile between them. Businesslike & efficient yes, but also impatient, rushing us to place our order, delivering our meals just naming half the dish in English so we weren't sure whose was whose, then at 10.40pm when we were the only diners left upstairs instead of politely offering our bill & suggesting they are close to closing, they came upstairs with a vacuum cleaner - rude hint!

Walk-in on Thursday evening, ground floor dining room was fully occupied but happy the first floor was empty so was able to be accommodated. Swiftly served by friendly and professional staff. Warm spicy salad starters was great, followed by tasty and flavoursome Thai curry.

This is a gem of a Thai restaurant right in the heart of Sleaford, although quite small the tables are arranged to offer you the greatest privacy from other diners. The waiting staff are immaculately turned out and very friendly and professional. We ordered the set meal for 2 and this was really gorgeous food and the portions were generous without being excessive.For a small town, Sleaford has some exceptional restaurants and this is right up there with the top contenders, I look forward to visiting again hopefully in the near future.
