Wow is the word The food is amazing really nice and fresh. Such good size portions. The kids loved their meal. We loved our food. The staff are really knowledgeable about the menu. Well priced also

This was my first ever experience of Thai food and what a surprise to me it was the food was AMAZING!!! The flavours, the presentation and the staff just blew us away. The food was flavoursome and they could adjust most of the dishes to cater for my non spicy palate to my husbands need for heat. We shared dishes between us and hubby had the advantage of adding extra dried chillies to his but also nuts and lemon as well for both of us. Glad hubby pushed me out of my comfort zone and tried this as husbands a chef and can be critical but both loved every moreish morsel. The staff couldn't do enough for us explaining the dishes and making sure we were happy. One of the best meals had in a very long time and will definitely be back for more and soon. 10 OUT OF 10 AND SOME

I’m quite fussy with my Thai food, like to have beef, a medium hot curry, usually Penang. So needs to be spot on, all I can say is WOW! Had a satay chicken starter, Beef Penang & Egg fried rice, the food was amazing! Added to this great, friendly service, I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious, well portioned and reasonably priced. Staff were polite and patient with us being as there were 8 of us. Looking forward to trying another dish or two there! 🙂

On entering the restaurant we were a little uneasy as another customer was complaining quite loudly about his tables meals so we didnt really know what to expect as we were not local. I really dont understand the compalining because our meals were excellent! We have travelled to Thailand many times and this was as good as you get out there. Our meals were tasty, well presented and hot..The only thing I would say was the staff were very young and seemed inexperienced but hey we have all got to start somewhere! They were polite and did their best and it did not detract from an excellent meal

The food is excellent, authentic & highly recommend the stir fry. Additionally the owner put in extra effort with our three year old which stood out for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and look forward to returning again

The food was lovely but sadly the service left much to be desired. We had a 50 minute wait for the desert menu and then another ridiculous wait for our order to be taken. A lovely meal spoiled by the service

Thai by the sea is always a favourite place to visit with friends. Food is exceptionally good; staff made some slight changes to menu requests such as making one meal spicier. Service for food and drinks was quick and the waitress was friendly too. Decor does feel the need to be updated, but this doesn’t really affect the general experience or feel of the restaurant. It’s all about how about how good the food is!

Recently ordered a takeaway from here via Just Eat - food arrived early, was piping hot and delicious, just what you want after a hard day at Joyland running around after a toddler! Would definitely recommend - though beware the spicy seafood stir-fry it is very hot!!

Food is Excellent. Staying for holiday in Great Yarmouth, we saw this place had popped up since our last visit so had to try. We had takeout and took back to our caravan. Food was amazing and we are so very fussy about Thai. We’ve had some dreadful letdowns with Thai food, including in Great Yarmouth. But not here and so glad to see spicy hot drunken noodles on the menu. So hard to get them. We both had chilli & basil stir fry, mine pork and hubby’s chicken. Drunken noodles and jasmine rice. It was so good we picked it up on our last day to bring home to Kent. They forgot one of our sauces on the first visit and gave it to us on the second. Recommend those too, weeping spicy & chilli & fish sauce but not for the faint hearted!! We also got a free bag of prawn crackers on 2nd visit. Thank you and they were good too and can be disappointing in some places. We love the food and will be back on our next Great Yarmouth stay. Keep it up please don’t go anywhere. Only Thai in GY we would go to. Lovely!!!

Opposite the sea front , window tables nice view to pier and sea. Good varied menu , all the Thai favourites at reasonable price. The quality of food is good , and the ingredients and meat really tasty , vegetarian options available. We had mixed starters , superb, followed by green curry , lovely spices and drunken noodles . The services was friendly and helpful , really nice setting and made to deal welcome .

Usually when visiting Great Yarmouth and looking for something with a kick we would take our pallets to V Namese restaurant just around the corner. However, we fancied a change and found Thai by the sea. The mixed starter to share option was un edible processed garbage to put it lightly. Our mains (both curries) were better than the starters but the rice was served to us in plastic bags after being nuked in the microwave. Thai by the sea would be better relocated under the sea, we won’t be returning.
