Tazze Charcoal Grill in Peterborough

Ordered food last week and usually it’s great food. Ice cream was freezer burned. The chicken Shish ended up coming back, resulting in me having food poisoning and affecting my health. Won’t be ordering from here again. Disappointed when I’ve tried to contact the restaurant it just goes to voicemail or I get hung up on.

food was good as always had Turkish salad and samosas i highly recommended them 😋

Amazing food. only fault, not enough sauce. It might be worth putting some sause on the side of the meal aswell as offering the 1 tub free.

Took too long to arrive. Wouldn’t order chips again which maybe was a mistake on my part. However they were stone cold and soggy. Kebab though is excellent quality and portion is plenty for maybe three people

Chips got a little soggy but they are hard to get right delivery wise. Chicken and lamb was very tasty and hot. Best thing was the price/value. The amount of food you get is huge. Easily enough for 2 or 3 people for £30.

Great food, long wait for delivery. Annoying especially when they say they're on their way (10+min max drive away), then turn up 50/60! mins later. This after taking 30/40 + mins to 'prepare and cook' food before sending on its way lol

Driver could not find address kept going down cloverly in stead of crowhurst, wife had to walk to next street to find him as he had no clue, food was freeze cold when final arrived extremely dissapointing

Hasn’t even turned up yet. Absolute joke. Called restaurant at 8.44 to be told driver on his way and will be a couple of minutes. Called again at 9pm to be told it’s another 9 minutes, I don’t even live 9 minutes away from the restaurant!

Called restaurant at 18:45 for eta they advised the driver had left called every 20 minutes after and was told driver was on his way food arrived at 19:30pm stone cold

The food was good, not the best I’ve ever tried but had no issues either. The big one is the mixed grill, so much bigger than expected. The only negative part is that delivery took almost an hour hence the low service score

nice! chicken was delicious, chips were good and hummus was just right. Pitta bread a little bit firm at the edges but not bad. Price was excellent.

Awful food, arrived and they were missing our milkshakes and the bread in our kebabs. I mean, who leaves out the pitta in the kebab! Lamb shish was as dry as anything. The pizza was cold. A complete joke.

Ordered the love vegetarian wrap for delivery. Description says comes with chips, was left disappointed as there's no chips in the wrap.

They turned the tracker off - delivery took 35 minutes when the restaurant is 10/15 minutes away from my address - disgusting service!

Food supposedly turned up before the delivery time, I asked for it to be left outside but the driver said no note was left, £27 and nothing to show for it, will delete review if it gets resolved.

They didn’t follow the order , just throw some lamb meat into a wrap and one kg of chili and after that they send it after 1h . Don’t recommend .

Iv not been quiet so disappointed with a take away in a long time. decided to try something new big mistake that was. when the food arrived 30min early than what the app stated I was expecting everything to be piping hot but it wasn't everything was stone cold and the hallumi wasn't even cooked but the menu says its fried. and after lifting the mountain of cheese on top to reveal what I can only describe as what looked like human remains the whole take away went in the bin after 1 mouthful😫😫

Garlic bread over cooked, chips soggy and undercooked, normally food is 10/10 and in time, delayed and not best quality.

Sent me a cold pizza that was stuck to the box and it didn’t even have tomato sauce on it… Not sure how you mess up a pizza that badly but they’ve managed it. Oh and they’ll ignore any allergens you specify too.

I wasn't sure about the portion size, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I messed up when ordering and went for collection instead of delivery but rang the restaurant and they organised delivery for me which was very fast I must say, food was amazing and hot definitely ordering again 5⭐️

Kapsalon was good but the gourmet burger was disgusting, the meat was somehow so dry I think it was old. I liked the salad though. Took an hour to deliver

Food is ok quality but packaged in polystyrene trays which causes it to sweat so you end up with soggy chips and soggy burger buns. Please use paper or cardboard.

Delicious. The wife and kids said I would never eat it all. But I worked a tough 12 hours today. I ate mine and half the wifes too. I earnt that Doner. No regrets. Great work as always team Tazze.

Food was very fresh, delicious and piping hot! Also something that does not happen very often, a very nice delivery driver :) will 100% recommend and return for seconds !

Chicken wings were good but lamb and chicken shish dry and lacking in flavour. Average food especially for the price, probably wouldn’t order again.

Food was ok. Donner and chips were fine. SFC was fine. The pizza was really doughy though, considering we ordered thin crust. Not much flavour. Garlic mayo was great, chilli sauce was very watery. I’d have a kebab again but will definitely not bother with the pizza.

kebab was excellent quality and generous portion sizes. Chips were lukewarm and soggy - please don't use polystyrene containers for chips it ruins them. a paper bag would be better.

The food was cold and some of it inedible. Tazze is usually a favourite in our house but after today I can honestly say I will not order from here again.

I have never eaten a worse kebab, the meat was cold, the mutton was hopeless and the chicken was too much... not even cut into pieces, just cut off from the whole in pieces. I will never order again

Arguably theworst takeaway I've ever had. threw most of it in the bin. Poor quality food. Luke warm upon arrival. Nothing annoys me more than ordering a diet coke/coke to receive Pepsi in its place. First and last time I ever order from here. How they maintain custom with "food" like that is beyond me.

something went wrong, I wrote in the note that I asked for a doner without pita and I received only chicken with pita without salad and sauce.

Chicken burger was very nice good quality chicken perfectly cooked, the kebab was perfect all meats good to a great standard meats very juice and tasty the best kebab selection I have had in Peterborough by a long way very very nice

Honest review. Got a variety of burgers, starters and sides. Spent £55 and store knew I was a new customer because the receipt said so. Burgers were filled with the oddest selection of salad and close to cold. Some of the chips were not fully cooked and others seemed reheated by taste. Food was mediocre. 4/10 just because the delivery driver was very nice & apologised about the 1hr 30 delivery time. I was expecting more from the beautiful looking food printed on the flyer that was delivered to me a few days prior. Maybe it’s better in store but couldn’t tell you at this moment.

Wrong food delivered, they did correct after a bit of back and forth but by the time it arrived the other person had already finished so not much of a joint meal. Kebab was over cooked and burger dripping from the cabbage. Chilli cheese bites were the best part of the meal, baklava also good. Delivery was fast but as above it was also wrong. Not sure it’s one I’ll try again sadly.

Naan bread was undercooked; my dog wouldn't even eat it. Food wasn't overly hot. However, the donner meat tasted good

Confused with the name charcoal grill, when they serve fried chicken....65 per cent of the food is fried ..🤔. Hard times have fallen on this place after Covid. I tend to go to Pepes to get grilled chicken burgers. Most importantly, I find the quality on food prep varies, from good to bad, there always something missing or not the right requirements achieved on the order. However, they do apologise, but it spoils it for which other family member they get it wrong for, but obviously, thanks for the apology, but try to get it right the first time.

Overall it was good, I ordered a large chicken kebab though and it wasn’t all that large, maybe add an extra large option?

Chips were so dry the chicken was not chicken more like cat food it was not good in any way at all. None of us ate it oh apart from the cat .

Do not order from here. Gone completely down hill. Food arrives cold and inedible. They pass you on to Just eat, who then refuse to refund. On both counts a complete rip off.

Falafel in kapsalom was dry, good cheese, though. Shawarma pizza undercooked, nice amount of toppings but doughy. Everything tasted good, but a bit disappointed cause it could've been amazing.

Avoid. They used to have great food and service. Our food arrived soggy and stone cold. Completely inedible. Called the restaurant and they were unable to fulfil a new delivery for a couple of hours, which was no good as kids were supposed to be eating with us. The restaurant then blamed Just Eat and said I had to chase them for a refund, as they’re unable to process any issues that arise from Just Eat. Really disappointed and will not be ordering from here again.
