Taste Of Mexico in Coventry

No tengo idea de cómo va este restaurante - la comida es diabólica. Tratan de entregar a Rugby pero llega frío. ¿Tal vez quedarse en su área? Sólo un pensamiento. Los Nachos eran horribles. Carne e ingredientes baratos de calidad, la más delgada salpicadura de queso. Un poco de broma. El burrito desnudo que tenía era soso y tibio, el bistec era duro, no mucha salsa. He comido comida mexicana de buena calidad para yemas. Esto fue simplemente lo peor que he intentado.

First time we've tried anything from here and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, fresh ingredients, super tasty and generous portions. Definitely on the favourites list.

We were missing food and the shop made no attempt to correct this. Our 3rd time we have been missing food now too...just pure disappointment! Makes us very wary to order again to be honest. The food that did arrive was very tasty just a shame the very poor customer service let the experience down.

From the get go we experienced poor customer service for our takeaway. Just eat had a promo where if you order 2 of X you get free nachos, brilliant.. rang the restaurant as it disappeared 5 minutes later and they said yeah we changed the menu yesterday, ok fine but the deal showed today, they said don’t know about just eat, changed the menu. I knocked that on the head anyway and ordered, we just got a nachos to share. Food came, it was missing items so we rang the restaurant who said we hadn’t ordered the kissing things, but they were on our just eat receipt, yet they still were denied by the restaurant. The food that actually arrived was great, just a shame the restaurant were so unhelpful - this really let them down, as this really put a dampener on our experience.

Our order really was a catalogue of errors order placed via deliveroo at 7.40pm for delivery with 40-50mins. At 9.15pm I called to ask where food was. Advised my food had been delivered to a neighbour they didn’t know when but I could go and get it. I asked for my order to be sent to my address was told it would be cooked fresh and prioritised for delivery. At 9.45pm my order arrived when I opened the bag I found cold stale nachos in a box so smashed it was open please see pictures below. By way of an apology they sent me a slice of frozen cheesecake! That will be great for breakfast 😤😤 I called the restaurant back and was told if I wasn’t happy they would send a replacement but it would take a long time as they were busy so here I sit at 10pm writing this review with no meal. An absolute disgrace!

Excellent customer service highly recommend. Went over and above to rectify my error and still came back out to redeliver

Nice food, but you forgot the guacamole and salsa with the fajitas which spoilt it to be honest...definitely would have got five stars otherwise as the food was nice.

This is the first time I've used Taste of Mexico.. I only ordered through a recommendation from a Friend ... I'm the biggest moaner when it comes to food... And just wanted something different... I love Mexican and hand on heart I've never had a good Mexican out of Mexico until tonight... Omg the fajitas were delicious well everything was... The stuffed pepper was absolutely Number 1...mmmm I will definitely be using Taste of Mexico again and recommend you to everyone... Good size portions and piping hot... I really don't know why tripadvisor doesn't have more reviews... Hats off to you...Taste of Mexico you've done yourselves proud.... Ps.. Your not perfect yet you missed. Chicken wing off my order.. Lol 😊

This is the second time we've ordered from here. The food is really tasty. Great menu and fast delivery. Generous portions too. Cheesecake was the only dissapointment. Still bit frozen and tasted cheap. Barbara

Tried most things on the menu over the last year, and never had a bad meal. Food quality excellent, portion sizes more than generous and service always prompt and polite. Go here. It's really good.

We both ordered the rice bowls in the tortilla and the quality and value for money were very impressive. A nice "healthier"-ish option to the usual greasy takeaway options. Wish I had photographed.

I am surprised this place isn’t busier because the quantity of food for the price is amazing. Only had chips with chilli which tasted great. Worth a visit if passing, never seems to be busy.

Nice to have variety of choice in Cov. Had an early dinner take away Chimichanga, with a fair balance of chicken and rice and a nice crispy tortilla. Nice kick of heat (for even the fair pallet-ed) and a tasty sauce. Good value of mass per £. Only waited 5 mins, but I was the only one in there at the low peak time. Ive had a delivery before that was as good an experience.

I was heading to the kebab house for a late night snack, before heading home and was pleasantly surprised that this was open (closes at 11 apparently). Nice to try something a bit different and as the name implies it’s all things Mexican. It was very clean looking and not very busy when I went in and the food was prepared quickly. Lovely soft tacos with a pot of guacamole and sour cream. Will definitely head here on a night I am going home before closing.
