After reading other reviews, thought I had to try Taksim Kebab House and I wasn't disappointed. It was clean and staff were really helpful. And most importantly the food was excellent, salad selection was really impressive. Will definitely be returning.

The food here is out of this world best chicken shish I have ever eaten outside of Turkey the portion size is massive and the salad is very nice also, and the Turkish bread that came with my shish was absolutely delicious I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone

I work away in London and my work colleague took me to Taksim for the first time. the meat is so fresh all the vegetables are fresh, the staff are great a friendly! You can talk to them for ages. 100% recommend.

Waste of £40 really disappointed in all of the food really, everything really dry and not much flavour at all! Took a bite into the baklava which is one of my favourite desserts and was shocked as it had this really strange taste of fatty grease :( nearly threw up and threw away. Disappointing

Tried this lovely restaurant on my way home one night and wow the taste of lamb shawarma is amazing. The restaurant it's self is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This restaurant comes highly recommended and iv already returned and will continue when working in the area! This is potentially the best kebab restaurant in England!!

Having been a local for a couple of years I decided to bite the bullet and check out Taksim Kebab House. I'm so glad that I did. The food (Chicken Shawarma) was freshly prepared, cooked extremely well and tasted absolutely devine! I'm brutally honest when it comes to food and I told team Taksim I'd be back if the food was good. I've been back a few times not only for myself, but my wife is now also a fan. The staff are very accommodating and friendly and makes visiting Taksim Kebab House a pleasant experience. So, if you want to treat your palate and satisfy your craving for a good quality fresh and tasty Chicken Shawarma or Chicken Shish Kebab, head to Taksim Kebab House without delay! Excellent food quality and tasted authentic.

It was a delightful experience to dine at this restaurant. The dishes were delicious and well-seasoned, with a perfect balance of spice and flavor. The ambiance was cozy and pleasant, with gentle music and courteous staff. The restaurant is situated on the main road, so it was not hard to locate and reach. There was also parking space on the side road, which was handy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Southindian cuisine or wants to explore something new.

By far the BEST KEBAB HOUSE IN TOWN! I've been eating here for just over a year. Initially I loved it soo much I practically had lunch daily! I moved from Battersea and have eaten in many kebab houses in South London, including Tooting. All kebabs here are made from quality meat, always fresh and tasty. The naan is soft and tasty, made in front of you fresh from the clay oven. The salad selection is amazing and surprisingly adds a lot to the kebab. The chilli sauce is home made and is the perfect complement. My favorite is lamb shawarma and chips. Portions are great too. If you haven't, just try it once... trust me, you can't go wrong here. Lastly, the owner and the team are very good and polite. See you soon guys!

Nice staff offering helps and delicious food. My husband always misses the mix shawama. My 4-year-old son loves the grilled chicken wings with rice and turkish bread. Will definitely come back again.

By far the best Kebab in the area. The wrap is a solid 10/10. Food is fresh, incredibly clean and hygienic. Staff are great and friendly. Most importantly the food is absolutely amazing! There’s a few kebab shops in the area but none are even close to Taksim! Highly reccomended!

Great food tonight. Meat was very tender and full of flavour. Also quick delivery (I ordered directly from their website). The man kindly called me to remind me that the item I ordered was not dairy free as I have an allergy. He provided a delicious alternative. Thanks guys! 😊

Update: Taskim called my wife to apologise and mentioned they will sort out any issue with the food. That is good service and deserves some more stars. Is that really a chicken burger, absolutely horrible!!! Lettuce not fresh, bun was bad and the chicken fillet - no breadcrumbs and chewy.

Ordered online through their website, picked their meat pack 2 and their lamb shawarma, we generally order from here rather than Wallington Express because, although Wallington Express are better people and their kebabs are tastier, Taksim have said they can accommodate coeliacs, and my mother is a coeliac. On the online order, I asked for the pittas to be separate, which I assumed would mean that, unlike how they normally put their pitta underneath their kebab, they would instead put their pitta bread separately from their kebabs, so my mum could eat them. I get the order, and it has naan underneath the kebabs, so my mum can't eat it. I call them up and say that on the receipt it says that the pittas would be separate, and I get on call with, I think, the owner of the shop. He's extremely rude and angry at me, saying that me ordering separate pitta does not mean to separate the bread from the kebabs, but to give additional pitta bread for free. I say that that's fine, seems like a miscommunication, but can I get a reorder for the meat box just with the food separate. He tells me, amongst a bout of stubbornness and general anger, never to order from their place again. Which I'll happily oblige. Don't order from here, especially if you believe their lies that they cater for coeliac. Wallington Express is miles better, for service and for quality.

Do you remember the good old days when you could actually pick up your kebab without it all sooo soggy it falls out the bottom? Well not this place,. This is the best kebab I've had in years. Will be using this from now on 👍👍👍

PHENOMENAL!!! From the moment I stepped through the door, the aroma of the food literally hit me. Additionally, the establishment is impeccably clean. I don't know if we were their first customers of the day or not but the food was nothing short of exquisite. The owner generously provided me with extra chili and garlic mayo sauces, which I drizzled over my shawarma, resulting in a mouthwatering delight. Overall, it was an absolutely flawless experience with a bit of bants. Thank you and we anticipate returning very soon. 👌

Not sure what has happened to Taksim new owners maybe? I have had to Chuck away everything I ordered mixed kebab and chicken burger it all had a really strange taste and smell I couldn’t even eat it and has put me of from ever going back there now as I was a regular. Waste of £25.

A friend of mine had mentioned this place a few times, so when I was over at a friend's house one evening, we decided to get a takeaway from the place. I went for the lamb shwarma with rice, salad, and Turkish bread, which was £14...and I ordered more bread for £1 as I knew it would be nice, and it was. The shwarma itself was very well cooked, and the lamb was moist on the inside and nice and crunchy in areas on the outside, but I found it to be a bit bland, if being honest. There was plenty of rice and the salad was really good, as I love gherkins and olives! The choice of garlic and chilli sauce were good, but not enough of either. So, why the 4 stars? Well, I find the price is a bit steep for what it is...some meat, a lot of rice and a small salad. Don't get me wrong, I'd go there again at some point...I just think they're overcharging for what it is. If you enjoy ya shwarma done proper though, then definitely go there as you won't be disappointed. ;)

This is our regular Saturday takeaway - and one of my family’s favourites. Food is fantastic and the service is great. Staff is very friendly. The quality of the kebabs and grills is second to none!

Everything is really fresh and very tasty

We visited last week due to the good rating & we didn’t love our takeaway kebab. We were quite surprised about the high rating. The meat was greasy, once we got the takeaway home the fat has solidified (not nice) and the chips were not tasty. Portions are smaller than expected. Pic shows a large size! Chilli sauce was tasty and seemed homemade. I do wish I tried the homemade naan though, they looked great. Perhaps we were unlucky and will retry if ever in the area again.

Best kebabs ever. Food always arrives on time and is always hot. Extremely generous portions of perfectly cooked meat, a nicely heated pitta bread and an abundance of very fresh chopped salad of your choice. Fries/chips are an absolute must. Very friendly owners who make every effort for their customers.

Best doner/ lamb shawarma in south London hands down. Get the lamb shawarma which is PROPER MEAT Vs the usual minced unknown stripped meat you get in all kebab shops. Highly recommend no sauce and just a bit of lettuce and salad. Even their bread is made fresh to order. Must try if you're around town.
