I eat a lot of Indian food both here and in India. Curry in England is on the whole either Bangladeshi or an English variety of the real thing. I found this restaurant by chance whilst on business. This is without doubt, absolutely THE real deal. Proper Indian food cooked by a really talented Lady chef from South India. This is a recently reopened establishment and I wish the new owners great success. To all of you that go there or order take away food please just be aware. REAL Indian food may not be what you are used to getting. It is however much much nicer. Keep an open mind and try something new. This place is absolutely excellent and I only wish Iived closer or I would go every week.

Superb dosas, but watch out, the ones with chillies are hot! Everything cooked fresh to order so the wait can be a few extra minutes, but well worth it. Very good value. This is a new business doing its very best to iron out the bumps, and succeeding. A cut above the usual Sylheti curry house, though they have the usual dishes as well.

An outstanding new South Indian restaurant. Fresh, tasty dishes a cut above your average Bangladeshi curry house (but they have a standard menu for the unadventurous) and watch out for the green chillies. Because everything is cooked from scratch, not dished up from a pot, the wait can be a bit longer, but food such as this is worth waiting for. Excellent value.
