Surf & Turf Kebap Braunton in North Devon

Ordered the exact qay as usual online. Order had meat on it upon collection. Owner very rude in the way he handled everything.

Avoid!! Stayed at Ruda. Cold food arrived and I mean everything. Chips were like yesterdays microwaved and no salt. Kebabs were make your own! They could not be bothered to make the kebab (see pics) all separate dry and just looked disgusting. Never in my life have I had that!! Not even cut. !! Just eat driver was told to deliver 40 minutes early. He was amazing not his fault. The owner was in the back ground extremely stroppy stating he would not talk to me just had to deal with it! I decided to call the shop. What a rude man. Refused to give me his name as well and could not give me the reasoning for it being so early and cold. The worst customer service. And the food Matched. Just eat driver I felt for as he had no say in it and delivered really fast, embarrassed, apologetic and top service. Will never order again and will Shout to all I know as a food chain like that should not be trading. Better off using on site or the food vans that come nearby. Lesson learnt.

Probably the worse takeaway we have ever had. It tasted awful and the salad and sauce that we included in our order was missed off. Very disappointing

We tried the chicken kebabs and were very impressed. Good quality food and speedy delivery. Would definitely recommend.

I visited this business this evening to collect three Pizzas for a family meal.. I found the staff extremely helpful, friendly and pleasant to deal with . I thought the pizzas were of a very good quality for a takeaway , and I would highly recommend. I also thought they were a particularly good value . Although I have only experienced this business once and I’m not local, so I’m not likely to go again based on experience I had I would actually give them more than five stars if possible . I was genuinely very pleased with my experience.

Sadly for the second time the order wasn’t right. So disappointing when your waiting for food and it’s wrong, again. Last time I called they said they would credit my next order but there isn’t an option for this online and this time they weren’t bothered. It was mid week, received order quickly but just a shame they don’t read it and check it first.

All food arrived freezing cold. Really greasy too. Horrible in fact! Definitely wouldn't recommend and won't be using again.

Ordered three chicken kebabs with garlic Mayo, salad no jalapeños. Arrived home to find hardly any salad with jalapeños, there was a sauce but it wasn’t garlic Mayo. Called to let them know, only to be told, “You asked for jalapeños and the Mayo is garlic Mayo” no apology or offer to replace them, whatever the sauce was it wasn’t good, to be questioned what I ordered and what I received is a disgrace!! Will not be going back, which is a shame as many times before it’s been good.

Ordered over the phone as didn’t like the online app. Pizzas delivered piping hot. Very tasty, brought leftovers home (as only there on holiday) and had them for lunch today, still tasted as good as night before after reheating.

Pizza was tasty and hot, delivery very quick. Polite helpful delivery driver. Recommended . They also do kebabs and burgers. Top place .

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE we were on holiday in the area placed an order rang 50mins after stated delivery time to be told they have rung for collection No missed calls and very poor customer service from manager who told us to take it up with just eat took £20 from us and no food or apology

When I went to make an order ,walked into the shop told you must wear a mask ! I did this and was then totally ignored and I went outside like being told off by this kid behind the counter. I was then called in to make my order £29.50 was charged and when I got it home found no chips as ordered.When I phone to questioned it they hang up on me. So very rude ,no customer service and ripped off all at one time. We were on holiday at Croyde and will never go to this kebab shop again.

All served in a prison style tray with a lid. Meat dumped on chips, chips were soggy, everything was cold, portion was smaller, wouldn’t go back or recommend, disgusting thrown in bin.

We have eaten here about four times now the food pizzas is ok and kebabs are heavily salty on the kebabs..... Omelettes are ok but lacks ingredient items and usually flavourless they need to work on this.

We live locally and ordered a take out delivery for four people. We will NEVER order anything again! After giving surf and turf a third chance on getting the food order correct, yet again they have failed! The food was burnt...even the buns. They yet again didn't for fill the order with food missing! Unfortunately we paid the full cost but didn't check the order was correct. Have called and complained before but they basically don't care, we have been ripped off again. Best to avoid in our opinion, things have got a lot worse!

Ordered a takeaway for myself and family only to be delivered with abuse. Was having the food delivered but had a phone call from the driver saying they were lost where he went to the complete wrong place, even thought they had the postcode, we gave the addrress again and about 15 minutes later he phoned lost again when giving directions from where he was lost and he became aggressive and said go F**k yourself, phoned the shop and they didn't seem to be bothered, and basically said he's not a Turkish driver so what do you want me to do about it. We waited over 2 hours for nothing one unhappy and disappointed customer, wont be ordering from here again but then later did get offered the food for free but declined it as was cold.

Food has always been freshly cooked and tasty ! Recommend chicken & lamb sheesh kebabs. The shop is clean and also delivers

Kebab robiony na miejscu, mięso marynowane przez właściciela. Warzywa świeże. Pizza aż chce się jeść. Ciasto robione z włoskiej mąki do pizzy własnoręcznie. Pieczone w oryginalnym włoskim piecu do pizzy. Chrupiąca i doskonala. Super obsługa.

We ate here a couple of times during our stay in Braunton. Standard sized chicken kebab was plenty, lovely tender meat, fresh crisp salad and tasty sauces

We had used Surf & Turf twice before when staying in Croyde and Saunton and had enjoyed great pizzas. So I didn't have to do too much to persuade our group to use them again.As they had mysteriously disappeared off Just Eat for deliveries to Croyde, I called them and was told that a delivery would be 2 hours. Fair enough, at least they were being honest. So we decided to put off having a beer and drive the 6 miles to collect instead.Trying to place the order was the first issue. The young lad on the phone seemed distracted and disinterested meaning that I had to repeat myself over and over again, although I eventually managed to get him to read the order back, which gave me some confidence.He proceeded to tell me it would be an hour and a half to collect the 7 pizzas and 2 garlic breads I'd ordered, or perhaps an hour at best. Again, fair enough I suppose. However, 5 minutes later, an older guy called me back to say it would be only half an hour, so clearly the young lad had no idea what he was talking about.When we did collect the pizzas, we made the classic mistake of not checking the contents. On opening the boxes back at our campsite, one of the pizzas was completely wrong and one was missing the extra toppings we ordered. They were all bland and virtually tasteless and it was a really disappointing experience.I rang up to complain and, in fairness, they offered to deliver the pizza that was missing the following day. But that's not a lot of use the following day. If you mess up, you should put it right straight away, no matter how busy you are.Taking an order, writing it down and then cooking what was asked for is not rocket science. By messing up this simple process, Surf & Turf have lost a sizeable group of customers and the money we would have spent in the future. Basic stuff gone wrong.On the whole, bland food, poorly executed from an unprofessional outfit. Very disappointing.

Ok I've been coming here for years surfing and end up hungry......Personally I have had no problems with food or staff ... always been happy.Kebabs are better than anywhere in London ( not my first !!!!)Pizza's are always well loaded and tasty....Burgers are proper comfort foodStaff friendly and helpfulWhole family love it .....even cold next day

Was on holiday down this way and one night fancied a kebab. When we get a kebab we always ask for the pitta bread with the meat and chilli sauce but like the salad in a separate container when we are away in our caravan so we can gently heat it up, then we add the salad after, well when we asked for it this way the staff were very rude!! We have had many a tasty kebab but when we got back to the caravan and opened it theyhad put the meat, well you couldn't call it meat it was rock hard and Tasteless! In the container with the pitta bread uncut on top of the container that too was hard. We read a review where someone had written best kebab they had ever had, Really! I can assure you this was awful!!!!

I ordered a kebab and payed £5.50. Safe to say I was not impressed by what got delivered to my door.

My kids make us eat here every time we head to suntan for a few days surfing, have to say that the food is OK and the service is good too.

Use these guys often, on Just Eat, quality food and great service. Would recommend to anyone. Mixed Lamb kebab with hot sauce is lovely - spicy chips are cheeky little bonus. Good pizzas too.

Having frequented this establishment for many years, it is apparent that the service and food is of top quality and as for there pizzas....the best pizza ever hands down lovely base and plenty of toppings, cannot recommend enough.

Man this was a sick place to eat innit, like kebabs are only £5 and they were nice. Should sell your spicy chips in Tescos blud.

We ordered our delicious pizzas via JustEat. They arrived a bit early, piping hot and the garlic sauce is to die for. Couldn't eat it all despite giving it out best shot! Brilliant!

Came in for food tonight and the management had decided to re-concrete their front step, just before opening. Brilliant!!!

The best chicken kebabs we have ever had! Scrummy! there is an array of offerings from pizza, fish and chips and curry! The fish and chips the people ordered infront of us looked delicious and better than the ones we had tried the night previous from the fish and chip shop Squires which we had queued ages for!

This place is truly very very good. We had 2 Chicken Kebaps today, it was served with a good fresh salad, & warm pitta bread. We don't often have takeaways, but fancied a change, and rest from cooking. These Kebabs are the best we have had for a very long time. Really worth the money, and would highly recommend this shop to any body.

Didn't enjoy the kebab or pizza we ordered from here, was very disappointed as it just didn't taste nice. For what we paid we expected more than the serving we received, the chips were awful too.

I always get the same every year on holiday and Surf and Turf is a long established Braunton kebab shop (the only and best)

I was working and wanted a quick meal. I asked for a Chicken Kebab, and was ask did I want any of the different sauces people have on there Kebabs these day. I said that i was very Traditional with Kebabs and wanted a good old Fashioned Turkish Kebab with Chicken , good salad, lemon juice, salt, and warm Pitta Bread. OMG !!! OMG i got the very best kebab, i have had for many years. it was very Amazing. It was like having a Turkish Kebab in Turkey. I am hooked. I be back very soon for more. You must try it. NOW
