Subway Montrose in Angus

Ordered a footlong meatball marinara and it was extremely tasty but the wedges on the other hand were disgusting (partly cooked but mostly raw and cold)

After a long walk around the town of Montrose, we went to find somewhwere to eat. Due to Covid, there was nowhere open so decided to just have a Subway instead. So we joined a queue with 3 parties in front of us. After 20 minutes the first party were served and after a further 10 minutes, the second party were still waiting for their simple order to be dispensed. We noted that only one man was serving at the front of the shop and it appeared that two others were working inside. We have used Subway elsewhere many times to our satisfaction but sorry we can't say the same for the Montrose Branch. After 30 minutes or so, we left the queue and went to a local baker where wer found the service and fare to be very good indeed. This Subway branch should get its house in order very soon or it will lose ite custom.

This is part of a national chain and the standard here was the same as elsewhere, with reasonable food and quick service

i had a veggie patty from here and had a very upset tummy afterwards. Not sure if i will be back again or if the veggie patty was that bad.

Subways is obviously part of a massive chain of food outlets but it does provide good food. The service is also very good.

Staff very pleasant and helpful to us grey boxes not knowing what to mix and match in our subs. Good fresh food and inexpensive

My partner and I come in here a few times a month. Cannot fault a subway there so good. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. :)

One time before I went to pony club at leysmill. I went to subway and although people say that it's a fast food place its actually really healthy and even does fun things for kids in the kids pack

Had a lovely subway today girl serving was very polite and helpful but found the other to employees very unprofessional as I had to watch them kissing and cuddling while I ate.

Friendly and efficient staff. Sub was freshly prepared in front of us and you get to choose your salad options and sauce as well as having it hot or cold.

Come dice il titolo della mia recensione: sta nel mezzo. Localino come tanti altri, arredato come tanti altri, dove si mangia come tanti altri. Il cibo è mediamente buono, la possibilità di scegliere pane e cosa metterci dentro è carina, purtroppo le materie prime non sono... entusiasmanti. Posticino dove andare se siete con amici e cercate un luogo dove mangiare qualcosa di appetibile. Diciamo che non è indimenticabile.

As far as junk food goes, subway is my favourite. However, I have found the service to be lacking ... in all locations, including Montrose on previous visits. However, on this occassion, there were 2 young girls serving, and they couldn't have been more helpful, or patient....they explained about different sizes of sandwiches, different breads, etc to my elderly dad - who was a subway virgin. They chatted away, and were so friendly and welcoming .... they could train ALL the Subway staff nationwide in customer service. The food was stadndard grub, but enjoyable none the less. The only reason for marking down slightly, was the condition of the place .... it wasn't as clean as I would have hoped for a sit down, and the floor had an unexpexted slope inside the door (I assume to comply with dissabled access) and witnessed 2 people stumble on it. Would I go back? If those girls were working, definately!!!! Oh, and my dad .... he says he wants to go back too .... he loved his sandwich, and the banter with the girls :)

What is there to say about Subway, tastes the same everywhere from Taipei to Montrose. I always have the same thing. Chicken teriyaki on hearty italian with everything on it (except their slimy tomatoes), mayonnaise and bbq sauce - delicious.

Yes indeed, a Subway is a Subway, is a Subway, so everybody will know what to expect in the way of choice, etc. Having said that, this particular branch has a nice view onto the busy High Street and we like to eat our half subs and drink our coffees while watching the world go by. Well worth a visit.

Fresh food, looks so good and taste amazing. Very nice and smile and friendly service, thanks lots. Lots of bread and vegetables and chickin or beef. 4 cakes and hot drinks or cold. Palatable price :)
