Star Kitchen in Omagh

This one takes the cake on being able to be so rude on simple queries and also said food will take 20 minutes but nope it's almost an hour and we had to wait with an impatient toddler to pick up the food, why didn't we just read the honest reviews of others complaining the same

absolutely appalling service....never ordering again....

Delivery time was supposed to be between 7.15 and 7.35 Arrived at 8pm At least by then we were hungry!

Nearly 3 hours from order to delivery, extended delivery time then delivered another 35 mins after that

Ordered a drink and it didn’t come with the order and the delivery man wasn’t friendly or nice

I waited 10 hours for my curry chow mein I open the box and this is what I see 🤢🤮

All food was cold apart from the curry. Delivery was 30 mins later from the 1.5 hours they advised.

Normally order from here with no problems but was very disappointed when it was over 2hours from when I ordered, when I rang restaurant they just said they were busy, food wasn’t overly hot when arrived, just eat give the the option of claiming some money back but the restaurant refused.

Had to wait 20 minutes after time that order was supposed to be ready. When collected beef chow mein was so fatty that it couldn't be consumed. I rang to complain and was told that's just how our beef is and told I wouldn't be getting a refund. Won't be back such poor customer service and food absolutely disgusting 🤢

Food is disgusting and cold will never be eating again

I had sweet and sour chicken balls with boiled rice, massive feed and delicious. Chicken fried rice is very good too.

1 hour 40 minutes for two starters

Late delivery food not good. Had iceberg lettuce in the tub with crispy Peking chicken instead of nice fresh stir fry veg . Vegetable spring rolls tasted completely off . Not a happy customer:(

First time trying and won’t be last, very nice, good portion size! Delivered within the time on the app however was quite a wait.

I Absolutely Loved The Food But The Customer Service Was just not it I kept on hearing some guy shout Victory from the back and then when I was finally able to order my food I was told it would be a 30 minute wait which I was quite pleased about but that 30 minutes then turned to 33 minutes before I actually got my food but when I did I was delighted those chicken balls where so tender and just the right size definitely recommend for any one in need of a good filling meal huge shout out to all the workers #loved it #sigma

Joke of a place ordered food for 2 people came to £35 with extra food that i did not order! Phoned and the service was terrible girl hung up the phone and did not answer when i called back gave me no refund or anything wont be back

Food very nice, hot and food was ready at selected collection time. This is the Chinese I usually use….food always very good 👍🏻

Best meal I've had in months.

Unfortunately Star Kitchen is a bit like KFC, either amazing or abysmal, no happy medium. Last order was amazing, tonight’s though was vile, chips looked and tasted like they were microwaved, chicken was horribly tough and chewy. I have told myself before I’m never going to order again due to the quality inconsistency but after tonight’s offering I’m going to have to say goodbye to Star Kitchen.

Delivery driver went to wrong address (was my fault not his!!) had no issue getting it to another address was all smiles and didn’t take any extra for the mistake on my end, absolute legend recommend star kitchen for sure

The reason for my 3 star review is mainly because the Egg Fried Rice was disgusting it’s never usually how it normally tastes and the texture was really sticky now I’m not one to complain but I spend a lot of money with yous so this really isn’t acceptable everything else was spot on though so thank you

Took 1 hr 45mins for delivery approx. Asked for our sauce on the side but didn’t get that. Sauce was on the food and very little.

Food was delicious but that doesn't make up for delivery times on an order placed via Just Eat. Place just before 6PM. Arrived just after 9PM. I've ordered in person and via direct telephone call in the past and it's never taken that long. Not sure if it's because of delivery issues or what but I'm surprised because via other order methods they have been top notch. Very disappointed

Lovely food, hence 2 stars but service absolutely atrocious. Ordered food at 6pm and only got it at 7.05 pm because I asked for my money back . 2 people in front of me got their money back. And the girl on the desk very cheeky.

Just shared Crispy Duck with Pancakes and a dish of Duck with Ginger and Onions . Delicious !!! Ok , so the wait is about 1/2 an hour from phone order to collection …. but it’s got a comfortable waiting area and the meals were delicious . The meals are cooked fresh from scratch ….. There’s lots of parking spaces and easy access from the main routes . The menu is quite large and varied too. Thank you Star Kitchen, well worth the price and wait . We’re going to be using this Take-Away restaurant …… a lot !!,!

It’s been 1hr 45mins food has still not been delivered even tho it’s saying delivered ??

Delivery time was 1930 to 2000. At 2015 I phoned to be told it was on the way . Arrived at 2035 and food was cold.

At the time of writing this review I am still waiting for my food to be delivered . It is 2.5 hours since it was ordered - the delivery time was almost an hour ago - rang them and was told they were waiting for the driver to return and pick up our order - ridiculous !!

Customer service is soo poor. Food is tasty but you have wait Over 2,5 hour . If you want get good food and good costumes delivery and fast delivery don’t order in that’s place .

I strayed away from my usual Chinese for the first time. From ordering to delivery it took 2 hours. I understand things can get delayed and restaurants can be very busy, but for a hungry family it can be a long wait. Even is someone had rang to explain, I would have offered to drive and lift the food. The chicken balls where a little over cooked which was disappointing.

Nicest and tastiest curries in Omagh. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Their chips are also chippy chips which is a huge bonus. Prices are reasonable and staff friendly. Only downside is they only take cash and the waiting time is slightly longer than most, but it's worth it!

Everything was thick to the point of slimy, not great tasting and strangely both dishes were packed out with cold iceberg lettuce, not good

Ordered the food around 4.15 and was delivered by 5, ordered Szechuan Beef and it was delicious, just enough of everything in it, flavours were great and portion was fair for the price, have had in the past but yesterday really impressed me.

Great food and with our order (just over £20) we got free prawn crackers and onion rings thrown in (onion rings way too greasy for me but nice touch).

Bad experience last night orderef prawn balls soon i opened the bag they were over fried or reheated cut into the first one and the coating just scattered the so called prawn was more like a maggot took it back full discussion in Chinese which annoyed me offered to give me more said no and they put £3 80 in a tub and shoved it under the guard thing they were not happy with me disgusting service never again and im not the only one

Food was nice as usual, just some parts was not as we ordered. Chicken noodle soup instead Of chicken mushroom soup and no chips came with garlic pork. Otherwise, delivery was on time and kind delivery staff.

I’m sorry to write this and usually don’t like leaving bad reviews but after tonight’s order I just have to express how extremely disappointed we were. Firstly we waited 2hours for our food. When deliver was meant to be 55mins to and hour. I rang and was told sorry for my wait! 2hours seriously! When food arrived our cold bottles had been placed on top of our food which in turn made some of the food we got cold. The. The food was not good at all. Chicken balls looked and tasted like they were the scraps out of the bin. So frustrating because we have ordered from here before and have not had problems but after tonight don’t see any reason to return! Poor customer service, food and very negative experience.

Very disappointed. Crispy duck was bland and in no way crispy, sweet and sour sauce was like a tub of jelly, onion rings and ribs were burnt and inedible as were the chicken balls!!!! Definitely a waste of £32 spent and the hour and 10 minutes waiting for the inedible feast to be delivered was time wasted!!

After an incredibly long wait, the food actually gave me the boak. It was totally inedible. The chow mein was ridiculously salty and the prawn toast was rock hard and greasy. So disappointing, will definitely not order from here again.

Ordered a beef curry and it stank of rotten eggs and the meat was bright pink. Called the restaurant to complain and they told me that’s the way it’s supposed to be and hung up the phone. Terrible customer service and food was inedible.
