I ordered through just eat, got an estimated delivery time (1 hour) waited 10 minutes and rang the restaurant to be told it would be an extra 40 minutes.. angrily agreed to wait. To then after waiting 1 hour 50 minutes already get a text to say it would be a further 40 minutes!!! Cancelled the order straight away! 3 hours for a burger and a kebab!! Shocking

Bald guy in shop needs to get off his high horse!! I asked for a kebab with sauces and salad. When I asked him upon it being ready he acted unreasonably and needs to be learnt some manners!! When I then got home to eat the food it wasn’t what I expected . Went straight in the bin!! Will never use them Cus of this idiot that served me today and then prepared my food to look and taste horrible!!

Just ordered our takeaway, went to collect...my spicy lamb kebab was nice, my husband didn’t enjoy his mixed kebab he said the chicken was very chewy, not chicken tikka as we expected. Ordered through just eat checked the bag when we got back to hotel to find the cheesecake I ordered was not in the bag. Didn’t bother going another 7 miles just for a slice.

Shocking service. After explaining to the guy on the phone for 15 minutes where we lived, we rang the restaurant so they could maybe explain to their employee how to get to our address. Obviously they didn’t feel it was their job as once again the delivery driver rang back trying to find us. After 40 minutes we gave up and rang Spice Village. They didn’t care and just said we should call Just Eat for a refund. We then got a call back from a guy explaining that his employee had only been in the country a few days so we shouldn’t blame him. No apology until I explained part of his job was customer service and after waiting for food for over an hour he should at least be either apologizing, trying to sort out a refund or ensuring my food got to me.

Cheese Burger was lovely. Thought the chicken burger was a meal though but disappointed when it came on its own. A bit expensive for a single burger with no chips or drink

The food was okay but not great. Delivery time was about an hour & the service was friendly enough but the chicken wrap I ordered was cold and soggy, threw most of it in the bin as it left a nasty taste, the chips were awful but the pizza was alright. Probably wouldn't order again unless I was desperate really.

I had the king Kong and it was lovely I will be ordering from them again.

Delivery time was so fast but food had almost no flavour to it. Disappointing overall

Food was ok. Chicken pieces in the kebab were hard and full of gristle. Quick delivery.

Delivery was 15 mins late. Left something of the order. The pizza was made on a deep pan rather than thin. The Popcorn chicken was like rabbit droppings. However they sent us our missing item straight away and they were very helpful. Though I wouldn't order again I'm afraid.

I ordered vegetarian food (veggie wrap and veggie lasagne) and I enjoyed my food.The lasagne was a lot of pasta,which I liked because some restaurants use lots of vegetables and not much pasta! My food was not fatty so that was good. But my poor husband was very,very hungry,ordered lots and put most of it in the bin. I think he said the meat was very fatty,all the meat dishes were "dripping in fat" and didn't taste of anything.The burger was limp and the filling was inadequate,not good value. My husband said no love went into cooking this food no care. And yet mine was nice - So, a review with good and bad. Good veggie bad meat!

Burger wasn't great. The fries appeared under cooked. The desert was frozen so had to wait 2 hours before I could eat it. The garlic pizza bread was nice.

Eat from here nearly all the time as food is normally great just last few times food hasn't been up to its normal standard mainly chips are too soggy maybe should take time in cooking the food but normally great

I received my very quickly, more that I expected with in 30mins however I ordered thick base pizza and I received thin base and the pizza was under cooked. I'm not happy with poor quality 😡😡😡😡

Food came fast and was good to eat but I hated the service of the delivery person, the Pizza was given to me on the side so when i opened the box the pizza was looking horrible and stuck everywhere, the delivery person also had a attitude, because of this I won't order from this place again.

Absolutely awful, 1 hr and half late first driver didn't even turn up, food was cold and tasted disgusting. Made sure I wrote down in the allergies bar for no onions and the food was full of nothing but onions. Will never order from here again.

Probably the best place in coventry for fried chicken. But still tasteless.

Have ordered many times from spice village, everytime I order it's amazing service and food, whether it's for myself and my partner or whether we are entertaining guest with a large order, it's always fresh on time and great quality.

Smallest portions I've experienced on just eat, the chicken nuggets were mushy cheap crap and the pizza was so much smaller than anywhere else, so not worth the £15 I spent.

I have used this service before and i have to say that this "the 1st time that i have been disappointed" or had a feeling that "left me feeling let down". Some of the chicken in the kebab was NOT cooked and was slimy/raw chicken feeling to the touch. Thank goodness it wasn't put into our mouths or we could have become SERIOUSLY ill. In addition the extra chips preceded and paid for were NOT within the order. Called diner and was told, "we will check and see" then the call was dropped. 20mins later there was a LOUD knock on the door and the chips... Hot but SOGGY from oil showed up. Has left me with a feeling of unease and will not be ordering again.

the wraps and fries were fine, but shame i cant say the same for the mozerella sticks!! they were shocking if they are not going to put the effort in the mozerella sticks the way they do the wraps and kebabs then just take them off the menu. They were not edable lol. but well done on the wraps as usual was lovely!

The food was terrible. Curly fries were burnt you couldn't eat them, and generally all of it smelt very unpleasant. Waste of money.

I order from this place all the time as they are always on time or many a time early, the food has not once been anywhere near cold and the service is brilliant. Oh and the village special kebab is the best take away kebab in cov, hands down. There should be a higher star rating for a place like this.

Absolutely horrible paid for a family no reason and we didn't even eat it. The chicken look like old left overs and was not fresh and instantly put us off. Never ordering again from here.

Been visiting here on a Thursday evening for last few weeks after, extremely friendly staff very chatty and welcoming, we went for the mixed chicken and donner naan wraps, they are huge packed full of tasty meat an salad, topped off with fresh salad and jalapeño peppers chilli sauce and mayo, we struggled to eat it all was so big but have since managed another 2 in successive visits, girlfriend went for a fresh pizza last time and reckons they are spot on too. Highly recommend you give it a go.
