very pleased with my takeaway. tasty, hot on arrival and good portion size

Used the spice room several times, never had a bad meal yet, service polite,delivery driver extremely polite, I do prefer to collect, but last time I had it delivered and the food was still hot, I I'm 4 miles from the spice room, defintly having it delivered for future orders. One if not the best Indian takeaway I've used.

best takeaway curry for a long time

So we're here on holiday staying at a local caravan park, and were looking for a good curry house.. and this one has fab reviews. AND THEY'RE NOT WRONG!!! Honestly, gutted it's only take away, but the reviews are right, the food is so tasty ( can absolutely recommend the aje baje). Great service in the shop and the food is just sssssoooooo tasty. Try it, you won't regret it.

our first time ordering, we ordered collection and it was ready exactly on time. We got the set menu for 2 and it was really yummy and great selection of choices. Onion bajas were sadly a little overdone and we didn't get our mango Chutney tray but the rest was that delicious! Thank you!

I'm not sure where the chicken was in either of them as we had 2 pieces in each portion, but there also wasn't really any veg in the passanda it was like we just got sauces the sauces where tasty but we wanted the chicken and the vegetables, the 2 portions of chips if tou was to pit them together they would have been the size of maccies fries, the rice was over cooked and very starchy the naan was extremely soggy the poppadoms where nice and tasty but that's 70p of a £40 order

Always have had great meals from here. Sadly, part of the order was missing and haven’t been able to reach the restaurant and JUST EAT haven’t been helpful at all.

A hidden away gem that was our best find so far! Food is excellent, really tasty, good size portions, and not overpriced like many other local Indian takeaways. We always order directly (no 3rd party nonsense) and collect, although delivery is available. They are always friendly when we go to collect. I highly recommend the butter chicken tikka and the vegetable rice.

Good quality food yet again, only thing that let the side down was the Mango chutney tub was hardly half full, and it was only a small tub to start with

We usually love the food from here and the actual quality of the food was great. Unfortunately the chicken bhuna appeared to be half a portion! There was nowhere near as much as usual. There was enough chicken but not enough sauce to go with the rice. It was very disappointing and we’ll be reluctant to order from Spice Rooms again as a result. I don’t like to leave a negative review but I’m simply telling the truth of our experience tonight.

2 pieces of chicken in korma and 5 small pieces of lamb in masala.. sauces were beautiful however very expensive sauce!! Would be nice to have some meat in the meal.

I wouldn't recommend this Indian place as the food is contaminated through them constantly sneezing all over the food as they are cooking. When they are confronted about it all I got was "its my hay-fever" and "it's the spices" well I'm sorry but you still shouldn't be openly sneezing all over customers food. Cover your mouth and wash your hands or wear a face covering. Im telling you all if covid was going to be spread about it will be these guys. And all you other customers think highly of their food I wonder who will think twice now after reading my comment that's if anyone reads these things. I will never order from here, such a shame because the food is nice but I'm not prepared to get potentially ill through their lack of basic food hygiene.

Food was good but the curry lacked flavour tasted more like a stew rather than a curry, disappointing really but everything else was lovely

Arrived early and was absolutely lovely, the biryani had lots of chicken and the tikka masala was just the right sweetness.

Order was ready earlier than expected, piping hot, great value for money, portions are fantastic. I probably won’t get the lamb option again chicken was far better and a lot more meat. But still 5 stars as the taste of the curry was fantastic just small pieces of lamb and a little chewy.

Very disappointed with the food. We ordered haleem, it was literally red daal(lentil) with few chicken pieces. Also ordered aloo gobi- gobi wasn’t cooked properly. Onions and tomatoes not fried at all. Big pieces of onions and tomatoes literally just thrown in the curry. It’s called spice room so you expect nice flavors. There was hardly any flavors. We were in the hotel so didn’t even have salt & pepper. Bland food. Overall just felt like waste of money for the food we were so looking forward to have.

Cracking food across the board delivered piping hot and in good time.

It was a delivery so unfortunately I can't comment on the atmosphere however the delivery was true to time given food was piping hot when arrived only negative which isn't the end of the world was the chips were a bit pale and flaccid and the naan bread was very charred but it was a nice meal we got the chicken korma and tandoori chicken Tikka, the korma had very large chunks of chicken and the Tikka smaller pieces but flavour was bang on.

Over in Morecambe for a few days from Bradford we fancied a good curry and, having had a disappointing experience at our last Morecambe curry place, we decided to give Spice Room a whirl. Food really excellent, particularly the chicken naga which was a spicy number indeed. Delivery was in good time too. Excellent all round and possibly the best shami kebabs I've ever had too. We spent around £38 incl delivery as we wanted to try a few things and we have a decent meal left over for tomorrow too.

Delivery was early, ordered the set meal for two. Got plenty of food and they thrown in a few extra freebies which is always a nice bonus. Food was really tasty and hot when it arrived. Both of our curries was a lot spicer than you’d expect from a jalfrezi and a Pathia. My pathia was more like a vindaloo.

Excellent quality tasty food. Very well cooked. Reasonable prices. Will continue to buy from here, best curries I've had for ages. Not all sauce like some of the others restaurants. Well done.

Unfortunately one of the dishes had leaked all over the other dishes, popadoms, and bag creating a huge mess! Not very pleasant at all and very disappointing
