The king kebabs are absolutely giant you’d almost have to share to get it all eaten in one sitting very good and delicious for the price especially

Very upset about my kebab earlier didn’t want Chilies and came loaded with chilies very very devastating. Tried to ring and tell them and said no refunds unbelievable. Definitely won’t be back

Ordered sheekh kebab which was unedable was so grizzly and over cooked . Paid for extra mint dip that was bright green really was off-putting but also paid for a sauce which found a bit expensive £6 ....honestly over £29 that the food wasn't even eaten won't ever be back again was really disappointed

My partner likes his spice and normal eats vindaloo but ordered madres and couldn't eat it cause it was that hot ,I had a vegetarian masala it had a few peas sweetcorn carrot 2 small bits of cauliflower and 1 piece potato which cost me 11.pound odd and when rang up bad attitude so not be ordering from there again

Haven’t had a spice of India in years but recently relocated back to Derry and ate from here tonight. To be perfectly honest, I wouldn’t order from here again… chicken pakora overcooked to brown rocks, lamb in the garlic chilli was so tough and chewy and the curry itself had a handful of fresh raw green chilli thrown on top which just made it far too hot, no garlic just CHILLI. The chicken tikka makhani was nice, but that’s about it. I’m so disappointed as I’ve enjoyed meals from here before.

So this second time to have food from here. 1st time was the chicken tikka kebab was tasty nice amount of spice. The chips were not really good, The meal and naan where lovely.as well as the rice. We enjoyed the meal. Thanks guys

Curry was actually really good! Got lamb Madras which was very hot and very tasty. Meat is really good quality too. Only they forgot to put the poppadoms in my collection. Will definitely come back again for more curry.

Was away for work, found this little Jem, doesn’t look much from the outside but the food is absolutely amazing. I’m from brum so used to a good curry but the food was brilliants. The fried rice was 10/10. Had lamb tikka massala wow. The staff very freindley. Didn’t have to wait long and the food stayed hot. Very big portions. Very good value for money. Was watching them prepare other orders it all looked amazing. The place was also very clean. Would highly recommend

We have been ordering food from spice of India, Whitehouse Park for a couple of years now. We have never been disappointed. Excellent choice of menu, perfectly cooked to your liking and staff very helpful and friendly. The value is unbelievable and so well priced for the set meals for two or more people. This is the first time I have been to Derry and being someone who loves kebabs I was not let down. Being an Indian restaurant you get an amazing mix kebab because the flavours from the chicken tikka and lamb tikka are hard to beat. The kebab sauce is unique and very flavoursome. What gains my upmost respect is the fact they cooked a very mild balti for my friend. He has not long come out of surgery from stage 4 cancer of the throat and unfortunately can’t eat spicy food anymore but at least now he can start to enjoy some of his old favourites but with no heat. Great food and very accommodating. Thank you!!!

The worst Indian I have ever eaten, they should do us all a favour and shut up shop. Tasteless, over priced and badly presented. £23 for one person- will never visit again and recommend you don’t

Food is nice. Mayo and sauces are watered down to much to runny and aye would hope they boiled the water before diluted if not that gives someone food poisoning Shame really

Order two meals last night arrived cold some stale both us spent night back and forth to the toilet food poison must have been waste od money. People pay good money make sure food fresh and clean cooking

They never delivered to my house. Most useless service I've used. But the food is okay.

Lovely kebabs, however they have messed up my last two orders. I asked for a large and received a regular, but was still charged for the large both times. On both occasions the kebabs were much less packed than a normal regular sized kebab is. Once is a mistake but twice in a row is pretty bad service.

I had previously given them a 5 star review however they have twice now given me the wrong size kebab and the last one was cold into the bargain. It’s a pity as they were doing very well before but I won’t be back now as the standard has dropped massively.

Great takeaway food, portions and quality are excellent, fast service for deliveries and good parking for collecting in person.

As soon as lockdown was eased and takeaways were opened we ordered from Spice of India. We had heard that the food was good and we were not disappointed. Huge portions of delicious food. You can request your food to be “ spiced up” if you think it’s not spicy enough by its description. The staff were friendly and the food I’d very reasonably priced. Will definitely have a takeaway again. Loved it

If I could give a zero I would, I ordered a king mixed kebab and it landed in a box with no bread, I could have seen through it if it had chips but just the kebab fillings. I rang up and they said you have to specify you want bread with your kebab, all my friends on twitter and fb are finding it hilarious. Who runs these places 😂

Food is good here, portions are large and one portion would serve two persons. They have a large menu and variety is large. You do have wait whilst the food is being cooked.

1st time eating here,the place was very clean & tidy for a busy night. Their menu is what you expect from a Indian takeaway, jammed packed with some amazing dishes at really reasonable prices. The staff were very polite and friendly & when we got our food it was so good so full of flavours amazing wee gem we have here, will definitely be back, would recommend this 100%

We ordered 2 curries with chicken (spicy mushroom red and spinach). These were super yummy and very rich with succulent sauces AND a great portion of chicken which is a delight. The chief seems to know it is important to have sufficient and good quality chicken in a curry. 👍 The portion was of good size to feed you for two days 🙂 Taste was very good. Very good value for money!

My family have been to India and found the food here is as close to authentic as we could find in norther west of Ireland. Service is chaotic at best so you might be in for a wait but the food is worth the wait.

Delivery arrived quickly, portions very generous and the food was excellent! If even the rice is good on its own, you know you're on to a winner! I'll definitely order again.

Haven't tried any of the currys yet butvthe special kebab is bloody gorgeous. Would highly recommend this place

We got a delivery tonight and not only did it take an hour to come it was cold when it arrived and the chips where very dried out. Went straight in the bin won’t be ordering from there again.

Fantastic place to get the biggest and best kebabs in town. Recommended is the Mixed King Kebab served in naan bread and full of doner meat and chicken tikka. These kebabs have more of an Indian spiced flavour than other places in town and taste...

Indian takeaway away one of the best in derry food is absolutely delicious

Ordered a munch box it took over an hour and a half to cone and when it did it was cold. If that wasn't bad enough ended up with food poisoning. Never again

Large Donner is the best in the town hands down. Just wish they delivered at lunchtime.

Three times I have ordered food athree times its been cold and always missing something from the order u think three times is enough chances will not be ordering from here again there have some issues that need to be sorted like learning to take an order correctly and actully giving you a reciept my advise order else where
