Skippy's Bar in Torfaen

Went to Skippys in search of a pool table on a Friday evening and had a lovely time. Locals very friendly, good bar service and prices and of course they had a pool table. I'd have liked a real ale but you can't have everything.

Not many ,local meeting places left in the hospitality sector.Skippys have some really great old school characters, along with Cards darts and pool,music and sport

Great place to watch sport and nice crowd in there that makes you welcome.

Nice guys, shame about they dont have a card machine. Nice place though, good bar to have a good night in. Pool table, Duke box selection of teles to watch if the match was on. Cheap too.

Great beer and a good atmosphere

Nice enough but previous reviews promised good range of beers. If you like pink cider or cours you will be fine. If you like a nice ale you will not.

Nice local pub, has sports on TV, good beer, friendly atmosphere, close to local shops, and canal a short walk away, ideal

Micheal Van Gerwen is a regular. Doesn't play darts on his days off though.

Nice and friendly bar staff are lvy and helpful they make you feel right at home

Small pub but cosy. Has good range of pub games, though to play pool you could be getting in the way of the darts players. Has a jukebox and gaming machine if you fancy your chances. Reasonably priced drinks and nice staff. Not my local, but not made to feel like an outsider. Only thing to let it down was the toilets. They were absolutely stinking when I visited. Might be a one off, but doesn't leave a good or lasting impression about the hygiene of the place. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though and will visit again in the future.

Very cosy pub, great pool table and darts. The staff are very friendly and I felt very welcomed. Brilliant prices and I highly recommend to anyone to visit.

Nice relaxing bar set in a housing estate. My usual when watching the champions league.
