Sketty Packed Meals in Swansea

Solía pedir comidas regularmente, no volveré a pedir ya que terminé con fuertes dolores de estómago después del pollo al curry. Parte de él sabía un poco extraño, lo que acabé eliminando. Me desperté al día siguiente con el estómago muy mal. Este lugar suele ser muy bueno y la comida era perfecta, excepto en esta ocasión. Si tengo una mala experiencia desde cualquier lugar, pierden mi costumbre indefinidamente.

No creo que hayamos probado un curry chino para llevar tan extraño y horrible antes. Ni siquiera estoy seguro de si se suponía que era un curry, no había sabores a curry, era sobre todo azúcar. La salsa era tan dulce y tan rara que no era comestible. Los dos luchamos con algunos bocados antes de meter el resto en el contenedor. Desperdicio total de dinero. Estábamos muy decepcionados.

Esta solía ser mi comida china favorita, pero mi comida de esta noche era muy pobre. La carne era muy dura, las albóndigas de pollo no eran comestibles y se fueron al cubo. Todo muy salado sin otros sabores. El arroz estaba bien, pero de nuevo muy salado. No volveremos.

Tenía comida china, carne crujiente estaba bien , las patatas fritas eran horribles se podía decir que habían sido recalentados , eran gomosos , no frescos en absoluto las bolas de pollo eran horribles todos puestos en el contenedor . . eran grasosas pastosas casi ningún pollo , tenía una buena comida unos meses atrás, pero no comprará pollo llamadas de nuevo o patatas fritas

Esperé más de 1 hora 20 minutos para la entrega, cuando llamé por teléfono para preguntar cuándo llegaría muy abrupto al teléfono, no se volverá a utilizar

The most amazing Chinese takeaway I've had for some time. Collected as I know the delivery time can be long if you don't order by 5.30pm. We have never had a bad takeaway form here,

Use monthly . Always consistently good, which is amazing given how busy they are. Used them for years and never had a bad experience yet. Have tried others but not a patch on this.

My parents have lived a few hundred metres away from this place for thirty years, so I get Chinese every time I visit. It's been consistently fantastic, I order many dishes and love each and every one. Personally I just can't fault the place. Lovely staff too.

Best food ever even though we eat from here regularly, there is no Chinese food better than this and I'm sixty years old and had loads of Chinese food before

Food is good but I am sorry it isn’t worth over a 2 hour delivery wait that’s not acceptable. Told on phone could be up to 2 hours but it’s now 2 hours 20 mins!

I have got to congratulate sketty packed meals for their excellent food everything was very tasteful and tender I'm a pensioner so I've had hundreds of takeaways in my life but sketty packed meals beat the lot my only gripe is that they don't except credit cards when ordering a home delivery

Had a lovely take away from here food was really nice very friendly lady behind counter and very helpful as we need gluten free dishes def recommend

The good is ok, but be warned - if it's a family sized order they will omit something, without fail. We only tend to have a Chinese as a family, so the orders tend to be for 6 people. Each of the previous four orders have had dishes missing. On one occasion, they missed out chips, one of us drove up, only to be told we would have to pay! Honestly, the place is a joke. We have tried different family members placing the order (yes, it's become the subject of family banter now), and even ask them to repeat the order to us over the phone, all to no avail. This is the only takeaway restaurant of any denomination that suffers with this problem, and in fairness they now have it down to a fine art. The problem is, it ruins a family meal and event, every single time. So, in summary - the food is ok, but attention to detail and customer service are non existent. In essence, we've given up and will take our business elsewhere. We'll give them another try in a few years I imagine.

Food is great and that’s the only reason we continue to order from here. Honestly though, whoever the lady is that answers the phone sounds like she really hates her job. She’s miserable and always tries to guess where you’re ordering from. They deliver but this changed by location from week to week. They deliver fairly quickly, again depending on the day and time.

This takeaway was the best in Swansea. However, since it has reopened since Lockdown, the quality of the food has gone down hill. The food is bland and the sauce is watery. I have tried several different meals off the menu and they have all been bland. The final straw was when I had crispy aromatic duck. Instead of it being shredded, it was minced..... minced duck!!

Ordered a pre del for 7.30 on Xmas Eve arrived bang on time food excellent would highly recommend 👌

Ordered our Chinese at 6 o’clock. Our Chinese did not arrive until 8pm. This was utterly disappointing as I was entertaining friends from the NHS. Considering all the work which they do for this country, sketty packed meals could not deliver a Chinese within 1 hour. Utterly shocking, would not recommend to anyone.

OK, i am picky, rang with an old menu the lady laughed.. don't know why this place got several bad reviews in a row but trust me.. Order your food from here.. Spicy, Chinese, nice.. Saved left overs for the next day.. A+, not the best Chinese ever but very close..

Ordered a meal for a family celebration Took ages to arrive after thr person on the phone lied that the food was on the way Could have walked there and back by the time it arrived Wouldn't us again !!

We have had lots of meals from this take-away, always had great value and lovely food - however the last 2 meals were inedible, didnt arrive till 10:30pm, food not so good, but we thought we would order another one, now, my husband is not a fussy eater but even he binned it, ordered chicken with ginger and spring onion, ummmm, not a trace of ginger/spring onion, rubbery chicken in some revolting sauce, so, we will not be going back, disinterested kid behind the counter, has the chef changed, who knows.

I’ve been going here for years and it’s always been amazing. I’ve recently turned vegetarian so ordered the sweet and sour tofu for the first time but I have to say it really wasn’t nice. The texture was awful it was just like biting onto a air filled pocket that was really soggy. I’ve had tofu in other Chinese restaurants which has been much nicer. They need to use extra firm and crisp it up. I wouldn’t recommend the tofu unless they start to cook it in a different way.

Lovely chicken cashew and fried rice - generous portion and speedy delivery - great value would recommend

Ordered a takeaway from here for the first time via just eat. It came 30minutes before the estimated time. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious with generous portions so excellent and I don’t think we need try anywhere else.

I have always enjoyed my takeaways at Sketty Packed meals. Great food and relatively quick service. I have never had any errors with my orders. Despite moving out of Sktty and to the other side of town, I still get my Chinese takeaways from here.

Incredible and very very tasty food, the portions are generous and prepared perfectly. We usually ask for the delivery and will continue having a nice Chinese dinner at home every week.King Prawns fried rice is perfect to share for 2-3 people. Would highly recommend the Vermicelli rice noodles and the Beef in Black Bean Sauce. We have tried a several Chinese here around Swansea but this one is far best.Cheers guys and next week another order from us.

Best duck in Swansea. Chicken skewers are peng. They were cold last time but that was Just Eat's fault. Prawn crackers are great. A free Coke is never a bad thing. Favourite takeaway.

Always cooked well, and welcome the new alternate options for the set meal for two. Would use it more if there was an option to use card in the premises but that doesn’t affect it being my current favourite Chinese takeaway. Offers free prawn crackers over £15

Have ordered takeaway from many restaurants but always go back to Sketty Packed Meals. Food always piping hot and freshly cooked. Everything you expect from a good takeaway restaurant.
