Silverbirch Hotel in Omagh

Couldn't fault the place and staff everything was amazing

I stayed at the Silverbirch Hotel in 2022 for business and had a great experience. The quality of the room (a large double) was excellent and the bed comfortable. The location is quiet and parking very convenient. The food (I had dinner and breakfast) were good quality and the service polite and speedy. This week I was due to be back but had to cancel on the same day. I was very impressed to find that the cost was waived despite the lateness of the request. I will definitely be back to stay at this hotel.

We went as a family for a meal.. 9 of us.. the Food was 10/10.. the service however let it down. we waited a hour for first course.. the staff were lovey however the wait was too long.. we seen other tables who came in after us, get served long before we did.

Ignore reviews of this hotel, because they seem to only publish the good, but not the bad, from my personal experience.

Beautiful meal. Vegan options and intolerances catered for. Attentive staff and good value for money.

I had a Christmas party and I can only recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic evening, food, service, staff.

Love Silverbirch, it has become our go to space to get away from everyday life. We visit a few times a year with or without our kids. The facility has various spaces to utilise including weddings, conferences, live music, comedy nights and much more. The catering facilities includes a restaurant with bar and a large part covered outside space with enormous tv screen and proper pizza oven for amazing stone baked pizzas. If this was in Belfast, you would never be able to get a booking as it would be too packed. Support venue for various events at the Ulster American Folk Park, such as the Bluegrass Festival.

Had the pleasure of spending a evening in this hotel, room was well maintained and clean Food was delicious, staff very friendly and welcoming Close to the main town with a good variety of shops available.

Clean, comfortable and nice restaurant

This hotel was 100% superior to the Marine Hotel in Ballycastle. The staff were more alert and tentative to guests enquiries. The food was far superior and the dining room staff knew what they were doing. If you're in Omagh, stay at this hotel. And no dogs.

This was back in October ‘23 and I Can only talk about the food and JFC it was god awful. Ordered vegan flatbread starter and curry main, but asked if both could come out with mains and female server said yes. Eventually the flatbread was brought out and I said it was meant to come out with the mains, male server told me the mains will be out shortly. took a bite out of it, and after about 15mins I sent it back as the mains clearly weren’t coming. 25mins later, everyone’s mains come, including my now 40min old flatbread with the same bite in it, all the toppings amalgamated into the bread after being under the pass lights. Any other self respecting chef would’ve remade it and none of the male servers even noticed, or didn’t care they were bringing out horror movie props on a plate Curry was over spiced, had three logs in it (idk if it was cinnamon or what) and tons of inedible spices - cardamom pods still in its hard casing and about 5 star anises. Why the hell the sauce wasn’t strained before service I have no idea. All three steaks were average heat at best and all agreed they wish they ordered something else. One burger was great, the other “ehh, alright”. We all gave up and just ate our meals as it was clear this was as good as it was gonna get. Also noted the weird way staff are told to work, doesn’t make sense and lead to a lot of confusion with quite a lot of tables that night, and I’ve heard this before from people but didn’t think it was that bad. It was that bad. It was worse than bad. Not the severs fault they don’t make the rules. Overall looks great inside but shockingly atrocious food. Female server was nice(4**** to you), male servers couldn’t care less

Very friendly staff, clean and tidy hotel, conveniently located to Healy Park though a bit of a walk out of the town. The rooms could do with a refresh though as they are looking a bit dated and tired, mattress wasn't the best either. On the flip side, food in the bar was excellent, the pizzas are brilliant, certainly recommend.
