I gave a 1-star rating based on my personal experience at your restaurant. While dining with my friends, I had an extremely unpleasant and distressing encounter when a large dog jumped on me unexpectedly. This not only ruined my dining experience but also left me shaken for the rest of the night, ultimately leading to fever and discomfort. I strongly believe that having an unleashed dog in the dining area is inappropriate, as it can make customers feel unsafe and negatively impact their experience. I hope this feedback helps you improve the dining environment for future guests.

My son took me out for my Birthday meak and i can honestly say that In over 40 years of enjoying Indian food tonight I'd say Sidhu's Garlic and Chilli Chicken is probably the best Indian meal I've ever had, the portions were just right the pakora excellent and the dips wow best mint sauce dip ove ever tasted! The staff were excellent, so welcoming and smiling. 1st class service from walking in till it came time to leave. Would most definitely recommend Sidhu's restaurant for a first class meal. We will definitely be going back in the near future. Thank you to all the staff ❤️

Disappointing Saturday evening. Dinner was overshadowed by a disturbing incident - the chef's dog jumped on my wife, leaving her shaken and scared. Despite staff apologies, allowing pets inside the restaurant is unacceptable. The experience left a lasting impact; my wife was unable to sleep, still shaken by the incident. Serious reconsideration of pet policies is needed.

Went here for dinner, had an Itison voucher, so limited menu but good choices. Although, it would be nice to have some descriptions under the currys. Anyway, chicken pakora, 3 lovely big strips of chicken, was ok. Lamb bhuna, nice lamb, the sauce wasn't for me but hubby finished it. Chicken tikka masala was tasty. Nann was a decent size. Service wasn't the best, probably due to there being 2 large parties plus 5 tables of 2. With only 2 staff. Location is good just off town centre. Restaurant is nicely decorated. Would go back to try the proper menu.

Best Indian food I have ever eaten

Had a lovely valentines day meal here this evening. 5 courses for £29.95. Food was lovely, I particularly liked that the chef came out to ask everyone if they enjoyed their meal it's always a good sign when a chef does that! He also gave all the ladies in the restaurant a red rose which was a lovely touch. Been here a few times and food is always on point. 5 stars 🌟

Have had several takeaways from here and the food in my opinion is the best indian in perth. Always consistent and great, friendly customer service. Will try dining in soon.

Ordered Gobi Manchurian starter for takeaway and got it with full of gravy. Gobi was not fried. Ordered garlic chilly chicken as well. Didn't taste like Indian food

Dined with my wife at Sidhu's for the first time this evening (27 Nov 2024) as we are visitors to Perth and have to say that the quality and preparation of the food, along with the attentiveness of the staff, are exceptional. The friendly chef/owner came out to chat with us and he deserves a full five stars for what he's created in terms of his establishment and his food. Thank you for the experience and we'll definitely return when we next visit Perth.

My wife and I have been living in Perth for about three years now and this is easily among our favourite spots in town now. Beautifully cooked food packed with flavour at fair prices. The staff were a joy and the chef came out for a nice chat to check in on us. The place is full of passion for their craft and we look forward to bringing our friends back.

Went to treat my husband to a nice dinner. Rossi (sorry for the spelling) was an amazing waitress and the food / cocktails were amazing. Will definitly be going back! A great spot for a romantic date

We ordered a takeaway on 2nd January. They were very busy so it took a while to come, but wow was it worth the wait. Best curry I've had for a long while. Flavourful and good portions. Couldn't fault it at all! The owner even phoned to apologise for the delay and check if everything was ok. Great customer service! Highly recommend.

Greeted as soon as we walked in for our Christmas Meal. The staff were all very friendly, making sure we had everything we needed at all times. The food itself was amazing and so tasty! Will most definitely use these guys again in the future

Very delicious food. I had one of the best ginger chillichicken today, bread was also super fresh and fluffy. I Never thought I would enjoy Desi food when I came to visit Perth.

I ordered a takeaway to be delivered last night. It arrived sooner than the estimated delivery time, it was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Very unique taste compared to the rest of the curry houses in Perth. A lot of restaurants taste very similar probably due to similar suppliers and cooking techniques but Sidhus stands out. A must try if you're looking for a good curry in Perth.

Ordered a takeaway and it was superb. Great tasting and obviously freshly made. Great service to and very reasonable priced. Definitely will be back.

The service was very slow. 30 minutes for our poppadoms and pickle. One and a half hours for our main meal. Owner explained that large Asian group of diners insisted of having all meals delivered together. So if you are not Asian be prepared to wait for your food. We will not be back.

The food is not authentic Indian. If you are Gujju then you won’t like the taste, especially if you are vegetarian. The menu is attractive with some chat and aloo tikki in starters.

I don't think that the owner has even tried the food themselves. This is not a place to eat even if you get paid to eat it. Feedback for restaurant: fire the cook immediately. Hire a real Indian cook who know how to cook indian food.

Hands down the best Indian food I have ever had. Must visit! Chef Sidhu is a legend.

Been twice and the food has always been excellent but, both times there has been a group in sat in the middle of the restaurant and have dominated the room in volume to the point that it's hard to have a conversation at your own table or hear background music.

We had a wonderful family supper here and would highly recommend it to locals or visitors like us.

Lovely clean restaurant serving freshly made delicious food along with excellent service. I had the butter chicken which was super tender and full of flavour and went amazingly with the pashwari naan bread i got as a side with it. The naan was very fresh and soft and full of flavour. I had poppadoms and dips for a starter and the dips were amazing. The mint was my favourite along with the garlic and the 3rd one they were almost all equal. Will definitely return and try more of the menu thanks to all the staff and chefs for making sure i had a great experience i will recommend you to anyone who is wanting a Indian in Perth.

By far the best curry I have had in Perth and one of the best in Scotland. The owner and chef came out and spoke to all the customers, asked about specific requirements, advised on choices and told the story of each curry that was ordered. An amazing experience, great food and overall a great evening. Thank you very much!!

The four of us went for a Thursday night curry at Sidhu's. We were veryy impressed on our first visit here, as we had heard of his recent "Best in Scotland" award . Just fabulous food! The poppadoms and dips were really crisp and fresh and the main courses so tasty. We all agreed the curries were the best we've ever eaten ( and we've eaten lots over the years) so thanks Sidhu for an exceptional meal, the friendly service, and your personal attention to your customers. Just how it should be done. The chicken tikka was amazing and such a sizzling spectacle when brought to the table. The butter chicken, chicken tikka jalfrezi, and chicken tikka masala all exceeded our expectations by a mile and the nan breads were, again, so tasty . We can't recommend Sidhu's enough.

Went in tonight as part of cocktail week. We had the 4 cocktails and nibbles. They kindly changed nibbles to vegetarian as my friend is vegetarian. The food was delicious and cocktails too. Definitely be back for a meal

Made an order online first time for me. Said would be an hour. Food turned up Bang on time and was outstanding. Well done and for sure will order again soon

First take away from sidhu and not disappointed very tasty all round from spiced onions to mains ,chicken madras for me and my wife had a mushroom& onion madras which we requested and no bother making for her ,garlic nan spot on also. Will definitely be back ,must try sitting in there also as looks very nice and cosy

Been to the restaurant a few times and it's been superb.. had friends round the house so ordered a delivery. After saying to them this is the best Indian in Perth , my friends totally agree. Absolutely blown away with the quality of the food at this place! Since moving to Scotland 10 years ago I’ve struggled to find good Indian food. When my work colleague was raving about this new restaurant I was cynical, but as always I tried it in the hope of finding food as good as the city where I grew up. Sidhu’s is outstanding! The food is reasonably priced, great service, good portion sizes and most importantly tasty food- I will definitely be returning.

Lovely friendly staff, beautifully presented and fabulous quality food with huge portions. Will definitely go back and highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time here, the food was absolutely amazing. Strong but subtle flavours, and the spice was perfect. The owner popped his head out of the kitchen and chatted to us about a couple of the dishes and the history of the area the food was inspired by, it was a delight

I ordered chicken tikka balti the sauce was like cough medicine this restaurant was trip advisor best restaurant far from it , next time I have a cough I’ll go their total waste of money over priced the only saving grace was the shish kebab

Have ordered takeaway from Sidhu's a few times now and it never disappoints....food is always fresh, tasty and delicious and they have some more unusual menu items like venison and duck. Staff are always so polite and professional. Their Lamb Madras is the best remedy for COVID or if you have a cold!

The food was really tasty, quickly prepared and very warm. Service was nice. Everyone was nice and attentive they kept on checking on us. Would definitely recommend.

We were the only folk (5 of us) on Weds night, so atmosphere was lacking. Food was brilliant. Fresh papadums. Great starters (mixed pakpra, onion bhajee, haggis pakora) Mains wet equally tasty, with all breads hot and tasty, rice was fluffy and flavoursome. The curries were all amazing, packed with flavour. Kingfisher on tap as well.... Only issue (not food related) was thst it was cold inside. With more peple and not being minus temp outside it could be warmer, but sitting around and relaxing post meal was not on the cards!

The best indian food in Perth. The food was wholesome with the right spices and the portions are big enough. Staff is also very friendly and courteous.

Not a pleasant atmosphere, fellow customers were loud. Not a good service, takes eternity to reach the food to table. Have to improve more regarding the food taste, not upto the mark. Have to be served equally!!!

I recently tried Sidhu's for the first time and I was very impressed. I went for the chicken tikka starter, and it was delicious, and the portion size was great. It was served on slate with 3 dips and salad it was so tasty. I then opted for the chicken madras and a garlic naan. The curry was superb and nice and spicy and very flavoursome. The chef came out during the meal and ask if everything was good which I thought was a very nice touch and a good sign that they care. My wife and daughter both really enjoyed their tikka masala, and the Delhi butter chicken was also very nice. It was a very friendly and welcoming place and they have kingfisher on draft too which was lovely. I will be back very soon. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Came last night for early dinner and was blown away. First of all cracking ambience, not changed much since previous Indian restaurants in terms of lay out in the same space. Staff were very friendly and attentive, but the food, portions massive, fresh, clean, no grease, was blown away as I’m loyal to another Indian in town but this place is gonna be my new go to. Chicken tikka as a main with a vindaloo sauce, 10/10!

Possibly thee best Indian I've had in Perth. Food was amazing, we had a table of 8 booked, staff were fantastic and nothing was to much of an issue for the chef who had came out and introduced himself to our table. 100% will be back. Can not recommend enough.

It was a quiet Sunday evening. Perth was being deluged (again!). I looked for a suitable Indian restaurant on trip advisor. Sidhu’s came well regarded. The staff go out of their way to make it an enjoyable experience. The chef came out and good chat was made. The Kingfisher was a perfect accompaniment to the main event: The food. I had onion bhaji with the garlic, chilli chicken & garlic naan. It was exquisite. Absolutely the best I’ve had in years. This restaurant deserves its place high up the ranks on TA. The good folk of Perth and travellers like me should look no further for an excellent Indian meal in this delightful city. I will be back!

Arrived late in to Perth after playing golf at King James VI a thursday in September. Was fortunate enough to stumble across Sidhu’s and was pleasantly surprised by the incredible quality and tastefulness of the food. We ordered the Garlic & Chilli Chicken and Tikka Masala Chicken with Garlic Nan bread and rice. The service was as good as the food and the chef came out to greet us and told us more about the food. Overall a superb experience, will definitely return the next time we visit Perth. Thank you once again! Greetings from Sweden.

Had a wonderful meal tonight at Sidhu’s Perth! The menu has lots of great options using local produce and they also don’t use any artificial colouring. We chose onion bhajis, braised venison, lamb chops, plus peshwari naan, poppadums and the tasty sauce accompaniment. It was absolutely superb, refined and classy, washed down by cold beers and lovely cocktails. This is an independent, family run restaurant and the service was excellent too. Definitely impressed - we’ll be back again soon :)

We are really thankful to Garry who let us in so late in the evening. Because of him, we had the opportunity to taste some really delicious food. The garlic pans are certainly a must. Overall it was an excellent experience, an unbelievably well dinner, cooked by a real master and served by a great, polite and patient man. You deserve all the good things that I am sure you will encounter.

I just left the restaurant and I'm so stunned! We are in our way back to Germany and wanted a delicious meal before our flight. So we ended up in SIDHU'S. The food was amazing. The sauce of the buttered chicken was so good that we had to leave... We just couldn't stop eating. 😂 So I was at the bar chatting to the friendly service personal. I was getting my bill and wanted to get rid of all the cash (I don't need it in Europe). I was a little short and wanted to pay the rest with card as a random customer put a 20 on the desk and said 'it's fine'. The Scottish are so friendly and all of our trip including the world championship for cycling was worth a 5* rating. So would I recommend this place? Scotland? The people? What do you guess 🤩 Ps: last but not least the chef came around and made sure that everybody enjoyed the meal. Isn't that a perfect customer relation to get feedback?

Started off with popadum and chutney tray followed by the butter chicken. Food, staff and service was amazing. Full of flavour and main served on a hot plate which is a big 👍for me. (I hate hot food served on a cold plate). Good portion size and thankfully I didnt order too much as I would have been struggling to finish it all. This was my first visit but definately not my last. Loved it ❤️❤️

Visiting Perth for one day day, we decided to go for Indian food. We read about Sidhu's on the web and it was recommended. We often eat Indian food both in Denmark but also on our frequent visits to the UK and abroad. We are grateful to have found this hidden pearl of a restaurant. Every bite was delicious! Closing the eyes and experience all the flavors of the spices, well balanced together with top quality meat and vegetables! What a feast! ......The restaurant does not appear to be special from the outside, but is simply the best Indian restaurant we have ever visited. We can highly recommend the restaurant. If you are visiting Perth we can only encourage you to eat at Sidhu's....and even if you are not going to Perth, you should consider it, just because of Sidhu's!

First visit, very welcoming, staff very attentive. Chef takes pride in his dishes and comes your table to ask if happy with the food nice personal touch. Food excellent

The food was exceptional but the service is really poor. It felt like the individual did not enjoy working at the place when tending to customers. I would really recommend some hospitality training for your staff. Some diversity training will be very beneficial to boost your business.

Had a takeaway from here this week. The food was delicious, especially the onions! I usually don't like them, but absolutely loved the freshness of them and of the whole meal. They cook fresh, to order and it shows! We will definitely be back!
