Lovely place lovely place .i been there with my family for a visit in ellon .this place have a lots of option with the desserts especially the waffle and cookie dough .will be back again.

Simple, unpretentious, affordable, excellent. What more can I say. Everything is fresh with taht homemade taste and quality. Their Banana Split are the best!

came here last week and was pleasantly surprised, had the chicken meal and was really good wasnt sure i was trust chicken from a dessert shop but i had 0 complaints and was honestly one of the best fried chicken i’ve tasted, and finnished with a crepe with nutella and strawberry really hit the spot, the service was excellent the staff were so friendly and competent will be back, really recommend!!

Cute little dessert shop, the crepes are absolutely amazing and there are so many options and toppings to choose from. Staff clean regularly and are very kind! Would definitely recommend coming here, the atmosphere and people are incredible and make for a lovely experience!

I've been frequenting shakes n cakes for quite some time now, indulging in their delightful ice creams and waffles. Recently, I treated myself to their Biscoff waffle and crunchy waffles - absolutely divine! While I've sampled waffles and desserts from other places, nothing quite compares to what shakes n cakes offers. Their entire menu is fantastic, and I find myself almost addicted to their offerings. Highly recommend!

A great local ice cream parlour. They usually have 2-4 vegan/dairy free options - sorbets and creamy ones. The prices are very reasonable as well and all ice cream is made on premises. Dine-in open until 9:00pm

Bit on the expensive side but worth it for a one off treat.

Waited half an hour for a cold panini and greasy, measly portion of chicken, I didn’t even wait for the rest of the order to come out. Before asking for a refund. The girl behind the counter was the only member of staff on the premises. Don’t waste your time and money going here!

Went in got what was supposed a banana milkshake and tasted nothing like banana so won't be going again

Staff constantly smoking outside with back door open, whole place stinks of smoke. No hand washing when coming in to serve customers. Extremely rude when serving. Especially the man (I assume is the manager.)

+ Great choice of crepes, sundaes, waffles and ice-cream. Fruit in the fillings was fresh and tasted good. Desserts were well presented. Cafe was very clean. - Coffee was mediocre. Nachos were disappointing, tasteless mozzarella on salty Rollover chips, served with jalapenos sprinkled on top. Branded tubs of nacho cheese dip and awful salsa. More savoury choices and more effort on what you offer here might attract more visitors for lunch.

Would have enjoyed the experience if the place had been cleaner, not impressed.

Ordered for home delivery, it came quickly and the cookie dough was very tasty, one of the best I've had! Will be ordering from them again!

One of the best crepes I have ever had!

To start with, no obvious hand sanitisers, no track and trace. Service terrible, length to wait for food unacceptable, and person preparing desserts , no apron , no gloves and extremely long nails, is this hygienic , I don't think so. Very disappointed and will not be returning .

Uffftttt THEEEE BEST CREPE I've tried fresh and fluffy and fantastic. Great customer service and well worth it's money
