Amazing authentic Thai food. We love this place and look forward to our weekly fix. Favourite dish is No. 12 which is a red curry with pineapple. Another highlight is the pad thai with chilli added. Nice and spicy. 👌🏻 Recently taken over Soi 38 on Clerk.Strert in Edinburgh. Can't wait to visit.

very good thai food. i would still eat this if it was in town as a restaurant. so good. actually better than those thai restaurants in town to be honest. you guys should open up restaurant soon.

Excellent, authentic Thai food - a hidden gem. Friendly service and reasonable prices too. PS the chicken satay and accompanying sauce was amazing

We had heard positive things about this place so we thought we give it a try one evening. The friendly ladies operated out of a tiny van. I am glad I am the one eating the food not making it in those cramped quarters. Anyway, we decided to get spring rolls, chicken pad Thai, Kao Mun Kai Tod (basically fried chicken on rice with sweet chilli sauce), and salt and pepper chips. We didn’t have to wait long (15 mins max) and the kind lady brought the food out to us in the car. We rallied home so the food didn’t become too soggy. Thankfully it hadn’t. We quite enjoyed our meal. For takeaway standards it was excellent. Pad Thai was tasty and juicy. It went wonderfully with the prawn crackers. These crackers were of darker colour of what I am familiar with and they were definitely crisper. My wife enjoyed her chicken and rice too. Although it was a little dry as the sweet chilli sauce wasn’t quite enough. The spring rolls were very good and the salt and pepper chips were fine. The chips were hand cut which I like but as all chips if they are kept in a box for an amount of time, they lose their crispy texture and inside fluffiness. In summary, I don’t particularly enjoy takeouts that much but this place was one of the better ones I’ve had. We didn’t feel that it was greasy or heavy that a lot of takeouts are. This felt clean. Menu is a good size. Fair pricing as well which makes it that much better.

Never tasted their Thai food yet but seems they have now taken on the the munch box. Girl who served me was v cheery n friendly n asked how I would like it cooked. P. S. It was a couple of bacon and egg doubles with a cuppa. Bloody lovely tho. Def be back.

Stumbled upon sawasdee by accident, and I struck gold. Stunning food, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I won't tell my mother in law who is a Thai chef that her food isn't as good as sawasdee

Love this place. Found it by accident, but i am so happy I did it. Owner was so nice and friendly, we talk food and kids. She is a lovely woman and cooked such amazing food - we had no. 14, 16 and 17 from the menu. We love it and we will go back for more. 🥰
