Lovely fresh cooked fish and chips last night on our first (but won’t be the last) visit. Top marks for this local chippy.

Just had a great fish and chips from here. More fish less batter chips nice too. Freshly cooked and worth waiting for.

King rib was lukewarm and Stuck to paper. Curry sauce was only half a tub and very watering. Unusually disappointing

Excellent service as usual from Sauro’s. They even phoned me to ask if they could deliver early, which was fine by me. Tasty food yet again and quite hot too - ideal. Sauro’s is always our first choice for a chippy tea. Never disappointed.

Used to swear by this place over others but last twice it has been awful. This time the sausages weren't cooked properly, batter was soggy and chips were cold and hard. We won't be back.

Never again! Gave this place another go after previous mediocre food only to find on this occasion it was even worse. Fish batter was burnt as were the chips, looked and tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. Fish itself was stodgy and tasteless. Pizza was burnt around edges. As a previous reviewer pointed out, this place has gone downhill. Won't be back.

Ordered a Chicken Pakora Supper… was delivered four dried out pieces of chicken and NO CHIPS! Ordered a Half Pizza Supper… delivered a tasteless something with chips! We have used Sauro’s for years, but this was the last time. Their food quality is going downhill fast! The only thing decent was the delivery time!! VERY DISAPPOINTING

Seen bigger portions of chips in a kids meal. The fish was lukewarm at best, didn’t smell fresh, way too greasy and had no flavour. Would not recommend it.

I advised that they had forgotten the item and they were like "oh yeah we forgot to put it in your order" we can't redeliver it for at least at hour! I said it won't be much use to us in an hour and I asked if I would get a refund. The person on the other end said they couldn't tell me as they have nothing to do with Just Eat and was just totally uncaring and had a bad attitude saying "it's a saturday night and we are really busy"..... well you won't be busy for much longer with such an attitude. We are long standing regular customers and we always make sure to give the "driver" an extra tip. Wish we had not bothered this evening. Their uncaring attitude has just lost us permanently as customers and a bad review will be following on Just Eat too. You are certainly not deserving of being a "local legend" any longer.

Missed the drinks had to knock on the drivers window to let him know, and we ordered chicken nuggets and the choice was single or supper so I picked single thinking it would be a small portion with chips, no it means just the nuggets which isn’t exactly a meal.

The portions were really ridiculous as for a £5.50 sausage supper it was tiny. You would've thought it was a kids meal.

Lovely fish (and plenty of it) gorgeous spicy haggis and crunchy chips. What more can you ask? Will definitely be using again.

Food always amazing but my gripe is you get a time to collect but you always have to wait at least another 15-20 mins in the shop for it to be made. Surely it should be ready! that’s why you get a collection time?🤷‍♂️

I ordered for my dad and we usually use the chip shop around the corner called "salt and vinegar". We decided to give Sauros another chance after the poor quality of food last time. He ordered a smoked sausage which was over £4 and was around 6 inches in size... More for a child meal than an adults. He also ordered a single fish in breadcrumbs... The fish arrived in 4 pieces broken up and again was a very poor portion size. Over £11 for a fish the size of my hand and a tiny sausage. The food quality has drastically went downhill and I'm sure that's why Sauros is now the 2nd best chip shop in Abbeyview. Will not be back!

Cancels any order under £10 despite advertising minimum order if £5, and £10 for order outwith Dunfermline. Customers ordering in good faith then have to wait for a refund from just eat because the restaurant misadvertise their minimum order amounts.

Food was on time an hot. Chips were a little underdone, but otherwise all was great. Will be back.

We are long standing customers, food is great. I went to order again today 21/06 only to find some prices have drastically increased. We ordered the family feast box on 4th June for £13, we usually order it. Logged in today to make the usual order and the price of the family feast box has increased from £13 to £17 - an increase of £4 - I know prices are going up but that seems really excessive and such large price increases put me off ordering. We have ordered today but I can't pay such an inflated increased price and as a result have actually spent slightly less today than we would have normally. We will have to make fewer orders, if any, if it is going to become this expensive. Delivery has also increased from £1.75 to £2.50, we usually give the driver an extra £2 tip but can't afford that either and we literally live less than half a mile away.... bit disappointed.

Don't waste your time, went back tonight hoping for improvement on my last visit many years ago, wasn't to be. The haggis was cold and definitely not fresh, lucky if the sausage was 4 inches long, although they did give you 2, chips were not up to much either, 1 star for the 1/2 pizza which is cooked to order.

Ordered a sausage supper and was absolutely shocked to find it was the size of a kids meal so called to ask if this was a joke. Spoke to somebody who clearly had a chip on their shoulder and wanted to argue so will 100% never be going back and telling all my friends & family to stay clear of this business of this is how they speak to new customers.

Bought fish and chips for the family, Never ordered from here before And they were really nice I have no complaint and will order again.

The delivery driver was so polite, the best service I’ve ever had.
