Sal's Famous Falkirk in Falkirk

I've been to various places in Italy and this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. BURSTING with flavour! Wee bit ragin' I waited so long to try Sal's. Ooft.

Excellent place bit difficult for parking but if you are in town centre well worth a visit

I've been here a few times now and have really liked it each time. The lunch time meal deal has 3 tiers which top out at just under £8 for a slice, a drink and a baked good which are also very tasty. The slices are generous and one slice of pizza with a tray bake sustains me through to dinner - and I tend to eat bigger positions in general. There is also a wide range of slices on offer. The staff are very friendly and if I worked in Falkirk I'd be willing to bet that I'd be here twice a week at least as opposed to my monthly visits at this stage. The only drawback is limited seating, which is all bar stools, but they can't do anything about the size/shape of the unit and the cosiness does give the feel of an authentic 'grab and go' pizzeria that you might experience in New York and the decor follows that style of layout too. Plus, with it being entirely window seating, you can watch the variety of folk in Falkirk Town centre go about their lives and the cars that generally make a hash of turning the corner immediately outside. For parking the best way that I have found is to park down the street at ASDA, since Falkirk Town centre is generally hostile to traffic.

Perfect place good customer service and food

Been to Sal's a number of times and never been disappointed. Food is amazing, love the different flavours of pizza slice for lunch. The cookies are superb as well. We have also ordered as take away and it's just as good as eating in.

It's an OK pizza place. Nothing great about it. It used to be a lot better when it was Rialto. Pizza are always with burnt crust.

Short stop for quick pizza slices on journey. Drove here specially after seeing reviews. Great pizza and service, not overpriced. Will come again when in area .

Fantastic - really lovely staff, let us bring the dog in. Need to get a Gluten Free pizza option. Everyone enjoyed their pizza & I enjoyed my salad.

The closest you can get to real Italian pizza al taglio. Really, really good! Love the simple deliciousness of their marinara.

Got the spicy chicken sandwhich. It was amazing. Piping hot and delicious. Went back and got another one a few days later.

Quality italian style pizza , recommend

I popped in here as I read the good reviews and they did not lie! Food is outstanding! I shared one of the spicy chicken subs with my husband and it was absolutely delicious! We also shared a cookie royale and it was incredible! Both were headed up, sandwich had gooey melted cheese and the cookie was all soft in the middle! The girl that served us was friendly and polite, and the cafe is very pleasant to sit in and people watch through the window! Will definitely be back - an absolute hidden gem!

I had no idea this place existed, was out for a walk and realised I was starving. Coming up the hill I saw a sign that said “Pizza Slices” and I immediately knew I was gonna have to try one, then I walked in the door and BAM oh my god. The pizza looked amazing, the prices are reasonable and the whole style of the place is great. One of the best pizza slices I’ve ever had. They're not even New York slices they’re proper Pizza al taglio so they’re square almost focaccia style bases. The only complaint; every slice looked so good and I physically could not eat more than 1 so I guess I’ll have to come back and try everything.

Great pizza by the slice, loads of choice, and free fresh water as well.

Rude felt ignored and turned away from me when still talking like felt not welcome in there.ignored me avd my 11 year old daughter was waiting to get served and she and other girl were too busy talking to other customer .then eventually got served daughter got ice cream it was a small tub to be honest was not worth 2.30 .. but it has put me off going in there as she was rude and arrogant. Felt not welcome which is nkt a nice feeling .

A great little place in Falkirk, the soup and sandwich i had was really tasty and flavourful. Service was really nice and pleasant, and the music playing in store was enjoyable to sit in and listen to while eating. Definitely somewhere I'd come back to and try their other menu options.

If I could give more stars I would. Honestly so good. The pizza was soft and crunchy in the best way moist without being soggy, crunchy and the flavours were delightful. The vianiese whirls are so good too

As a genuine pizza addict it's shameless that I only visited here recently a few weeks ago. I have since been back and will continue to be back going forward. Excellent pizza, excellent cakes, cracking sandwiches and drinks etc. Absolutely fantastic value and a lovely location where sitting in is very nice. The staff are lovely and represent the business very well. Don't hesitate, forget the Hut & Dom's and support an even better local business.

No better place to eat in falirk pizza and soup and sandwich outstanding

Arrived at 7.50 pm after driving across Falkirk following a recommendation from family. Place was empty apart from 2 ladies who worked there. They informed me I could not buy pizza because they start tidying up at 7.45 pm. Ridiculously poor customer service. I had planned to buy 3 large pizzas and try some of their slices. Took my business elsewhere. Really disappointed, place looks nice and hope it survives , pretty sure management would have preferred this was handled differently.

Absolutely awesome. Myself and my work colleagues have visited on numerous occasions over the last few weeks for lunch. Fabulous menu, friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Would recommend the spicy chicken ciabatta sandwich, is super tasty.

Simple. Great value, extremely tasty. Wouldn't go anywhere else for Pizza, Soup or Sandwiches. Best in Falkirk.

Can highly recommend. Great spot. Tasty pizza slices to go. Subs are tasty too. The big cookies were too much for me alone, have to share with my partner, but very tasty. Go for lunch or dinner. They do full pizza for take away too.

This was our first visit to Sal's while visiting Falkirk & OMG the pizza is divine!!! The best pizza we've ever tasted with delicious flapjack too. The staff are outstanding & beyond helpful. We really wish we lived closer as we'd be regulars!!! Thank you so much !!!!

Absolutely incredible. The pizza slices here are generous, well priced and incredibly good quality. I have no idea where they source ingredients but every single bit of the pizzas were fresh and flavourful. We were a bit unsure because we are used to more cheese, but these pizza slices really didn’t need more cheese at all. The dough was light and fluffy with a crispy base, and cooked fresh. The brownie was also incredible. Service was ten out of ten. This place is perfect in every way!

I don’t normally leave reviews - but I think this place is cracking. Great pizza - different from anything you’d normally get in the central belt. Definitely get yourself a slice.

Totally disappointed with the pizza. I'm a pizza lover and love a bit of char but this was taking it too far. It was charred black outside and inside the dough. Came in today with my young son as he asked for pizza. Unfortunately I had to return my sons as it was inedible for him and I tryed to continue on with mine. In the end I picked the soft bits off the top. I didn't want to make a fuss about my one so I did my best to eat it. The staff were friendly and nice and didn't charge me for my son's. Unfortunately if this is the standard of pizza from this place I will never be back.

Pizza base is amazing, toppings are nice, not enough cheese so more like a tomatoe base pizza, unfortunately the 2 sides of parmesan were mouldy so kind of off putting as to how fresh the actual pizza was. Cookies are amazing.
