Saffron express liverpool in Liverpool

Hadn't planned to try Saffron express, nipped in on my travels, ordered food and waited.... Over an hour (which is why I only rated 2* for service) I mentioned this to a member of staff who spoke to chefs and got my food within 10 mins so not the best experience HOWEVER from the minute I walked through the door it was obvious they were behind on orders and working really hard to catch up, witnessed many people ringing to enquire about their food orders and delivery drivers constantly in and out with food. The food itself was delicious and well portioned, I will make a point of visiting again and hopefully getting my order more quickly next time, the kitchen is open so you can watch the staff prepare your meal and hygiene standards seemed good 👍

Went today to get some food! OMG just AMAZING the house sauce was fantastic! Never had a kebab so tasty, highly recommend! We will repeat!

Food was quick. And very nice.. ordered the jumbo box and some curries. Jumbo box is great value and very nice... Will definitely order again

I ordered a jumbo mix box and a chicken tikka biriyani and it was piping hot and tasted delicious. The spice was just right and service was extremely fast. I ESPECIALLY enjoyed their donner meat the sauce was banging. Ill be ordering from them soon

The front of house lads make you feel welcome from minute you walk in, kitchen is spotless and you can see the chef cooking your meal, the OG donner meat and korma are spot on won’t go anywhere else now

1st time trying here and will now be my favourite place. Lovely genuinely friendly staff, very welcoming, food was gorgeous too and freshly made right in front of you. Will definitely be back : )

put an order in day before new year’s eve for delivery on new year’s eve waited half hour over delivery time to be told when i phoned that they forgot about order and i would have to wait 1hf 30 mins for re delivery first time we used takeaway gutted

Family run business, lovely and welcoming. Great to have a friendly chat also and even helped me pick my meal. Fantastic service and food. Will be back again soon!

Amazing Indian takeaway, only ever eaten at really expensive Indian restaurants, this was my first take away and it was unbelievable. Even my wife really enjoyed it, high quality food, reasonably priced and really friendly and helpful staff.
