Stopped off for a drink after a walk from the village. Quick service, not many people in bit seemed a pub for locals

We had a gig here and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The pub is very homely and warm. Good selection of drinks and bar snacks. They have a pool table and a TV.

Clean and friendly pub. Drinks very reasonably priced. No food.

Only visit mainly for a Thursday night quiz. Staff always polite and smiling. Can't rate the beer as don't drink it.

Brilliant pub with excellent choice of beer. Extremely comfortable and our new local. 11/10

Warm welcome good local pub with real people

Visited here whilst visiting family in the area and found the pub to be so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was great, the place was spotlessly clean with a really cosy - made even better by the warm fire. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cocktails were delicious. Myself and my partner worked our way through 3 of the options on the cocktail menu and enjoyed all of them (especially reccomend the lychee martini). Thanks for a lovely visit!

Great pub, sense of community and friendly locals. Show live sports, host quiz nights and have Halloween parties. The only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is that it's cash only. But overall a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Telegragh pub aycliffe vicki (landlady) allways treats you with a warm friendly smile knows exactley what you drink just like her mam and dad who have been friends for a long time well recomend it for drinking or if you need a venue for a party or a do she is a very good hostest brian 10 out of 10

Let me just say... for a village local pub the feel of the place is cosmopolitan..... the land lady,Victoria, always greets you with a smile and makes you feel so welcome. Something she has past down to her outstanding staff. The beer tastes like it's straight from the brewery.in a nutshell..... what an establishment..im hooked..... well done
