Ronzio in East Dunbartonshire

Service and food was first class and reasonably priced for what we got. Always our favourite spot for food and coffee in Bishopbriggs.

I recently took my husband here for birthday brunch before work , with only some time to spare . We placed our order after a long wait , the coffee took about 25 mins before that came , and the food was a good bit after the coffee . Clearly short staffed as 2 girls covering the shop floor . I felt I couldn’t relax as it took so long , by the time we finally got food and drinks I had to rush off to work . I get it can get busy but to wait almost an hour for a couple of coffees and French toast is crazy .

We regularly visit Ronzio and are always delighted with our meal and service. The big belter and the Dubai chocolate are particularly lovely. Staff all great. Decor nice

Very accommodating staff allowed us to have our coffees after hours after we arrived later than expected. Really positive experience.

Great portions for the price compared to other places. Food was delicious - had the shakshuka and my daughter had salsa eggs with halloumi.Will def be back.

Very busy so queued for a seat in the middle aisle of restaurant while staff scooted past us with plates of food and customers squeezed past. I gave my order twice - pointing at the menu. Someone(I’m assuming a supervisor/manager) then checked my order for third time. I was brought the wrong order while my friend was given the correct order so I sat and watched her eat and was brought mine when she had finished hers. After finishing food, we both ordered a second drink and were having a chat. For me this is where the customer service was extremely poor, unprofessional and frankly rude. We were finishing our drinks and were asked if we more, felt like we were being hurried to finish drink. Then the bill appeared on the table which would be fine but the waitress stood waiting for payment. We paid and continued to do in drink and chat. As soon as cup was empty we were asked to vacate our table. We were escorted out like criminals by one waitress while a waiter held the door open for us. I understand a busy restaurant wanting a fast turnaround but this behaviour was outrageous. My regret is not complaining about the mix up of order, mediocre food/drink and their rude behaviour when I was there. Won’t be back, neither will my friends nor my family. I think this business thought they were doing me a favour by letting me eat there, arrogant and Rude, rude, rude!

Had lunch here today. Food was lovely(as usual) but service was painfully slow. Staff are usually more attentive. Bit disappointing.

A big group of us arrived unexpected, but instead of feeling like a burden trying to be squeezed in, the man that greeted us at the door was quick to solutionise and had us seated in a matter of minutes; really impressive. The friendly service continued throughout our visit as we ordered hot drinks and cakes. I’m going to be honest here… cups - lovely, coffee - not so great. It was really strong and had an almost burnt taste. I can drink quite average coffee but I did struggle with this one. The cake I had (Snickers cake) looked bought in as apposed to homemade but was still nice. I’d probably choose something different next time though. Despite not massively enjoying my choices, my 4 rating is based on the great service, atmosphere and everyone else around me enjoying their food. My partner had the stack and said it was brilliant. I’d happily revisit, and perhaps I’ll get the stack next time!

Place looks nice. Very stylish layout. Seems to have been very popular since it opened but the food and service left a lot to be desired. Food took around 40 minutes from ordering to arrival. My wife’s dish arrived first then there was a substantial wait for my own to arrive. This is something I find really annoying in a restaurant. When my own finally did arrive it was lukewarm at best and the soup had something of a skin on the top. Generally everything was fairly bland and lacking flavour. Don’t think I would return as there are significantly better options close by. For me it’s a case of looks nice but the quality of the actual product isn’t there.

Lovely decor, friendly staff and amazing food. Pancakes were so good and staff happy to provide variation to what’s on menu. I have visited the west end cafe many times but this could be my new favourite

Definitely the best coffee house around. The interior decor and the excellent and varied menu really made it a different experience from the mainstream coffee houses. The staff were very pleasant and quick to serve even though the place was really busy. If you like your coffee served in pleasant surroundings then I can’t recommend Ronzio’s highly enough. ☕️ 👏

I visited yesterday with my pal for a lunch and a catch up. It was the first time I had been and I thought it was a great place. The staff were lovely and the food and the drinks were delicious. I will definitely go back.

Second visit. Very busy Saturday lunchtime. Maybe to be expected.Queued to get table and told there would be a half hour wait for food to be served. Ordered Ronzios Royale which was cold and seemed like a smaller serving than last time (Husband ordered this dish when we were there before) £9 for a tiny piece of sourdough egg spinach and salmon. Bit disappointed as enjoyed dining experience last time. Hope they keep standards high as the menu is good and offers something different from the other eating places in the area

Visited for breakfast with family and sat ourside. Staff provided water for dog which was lovely of them. Staff were friendly and helpful and food was excellent. The chi latte was especially good. Would recommend and shall definitely return!

Visited twice in one week, firstly sat in for breakfast, coffee and cake. The stack was delicious. Coffee was lovely. Cake was nice but not homemade - bought in. Staff were really friendly! Second visit was for takeaway soup - it was nice but so expensive - £20 for three takeaway soups!!

Good atmosphere and service. Sourdough sandwich was lovely, but £10 for a sandwich and a tiny salad garnish?!? Maybe a few less pricey options would temp me back.

Bishopbriggs cross is a great spot for a West End style coffeeshop - Ronzio-BUZZING! Curiosity drew us in for coffee and the menu tempted us to lunch, delicious is an understatement. Ilir and Nykola were the perfect hosts with the ideal level of attentiveness: obviously keen for guests to have a lovely experience but far from pushy, just right, so friendly - the other servers were equally lovely, chatty and welcoming. We had SALSA Eggs / Eggs SALSA (fabulous combination of Avocado (undisturbed, the way i like it) with a tomato salsa, lovely toasted bread and perfectly poached eggs. The other dish was Italian Ham with roasted peppers and truffle mayo and salad ( i cant remember the name- also deelish). I think this place will be there for the long haul, and become a very popular place to be. They are so aptly named - the buzz didnt stop. It was lovely to hear about the blood and sweat that went in to the place and the improvement plans in place already. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. Andrena Bain

First visit to this stylish and fashionable restaurant,decent sized restaurant,well kitted out and staff were very friendly professional and helpful.Food was delicious and very well presented so would most certainly go back again in the future!
