Nice cosy pub, great atmosphere, very dog friendly, including their own dog.

£6.90 for a pint & a coke. Great value for around here! Lots of outdoor seating for nice weather.

Always feel welcome here, big smiles on the staff’s faces and willing to help (and I’m not local!) Murphy is a joyous and relaxed dog whom, by no fault of his own, kept me entertained for a good 30 minutes! Can’t wait to visit again! Prices are so nice compared to Sussex!

Really lovely place. Friendly staff and quick service. Had the bean chilli and was a bit disappointed. Hardly any beans, was mostly tomato chunks. Not really good value for money. My other half had a chicken curry which he loved though. Beer garden is lovely and dogs are welcome. Will go there again.

A pub frequented by the locals for good reason, the food is very good, atmosphere friendly and service cheerful.

We walked to the Robin Hood from staying at a local motorhome site, (choose it initially as it was the only establishment open on a Monday evening serving food). A good choice it was though, a log burner a light with a warm welcome from the barman. Owner was also in and accommodating to tweak menu to include chips. Food was superb, good sized portions, nicely cooked pie & i had rainbow trout. Would definitely recommend for its nice traditional decor, atmosphere, service & if you have a dog it's dog friendly.

Nice warm welcome and absolutely lovely food, good beer and quick service. The fagggots were stunning, as was the steak Will definitely be visiting again.

Friendly staff, excellent food and dog friendly. What's not to like? Reasonable prices too. There can't be many places around these days where a 10oz rump steak meal costs less than £20. My wife enjoyed her beef and ale pie too. A 'proper', fully encased pie. We were too full to try the Desserts.

Told the young lady that my partner didn't enjoy his meal as the beef was tough n chewy (was very bloody) she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. Decided not to bother with a pudding after a mediocre Sunday lunch. Unfortunately we are unlikely to return

A wonderful establishment offering both a delightful selection of beverages and a dedicated play area for children's enjoyment. The establishment provides a pleasant atmosphere, serving both delicious food and a respectable selection of beverages.

We went to have food and drinks. Chose an empty table from 3 that were available at the time in the bar. After the bar person poured our drinks she followed up by stating “if you want food you’ll have to sit in the extension”or I’ll have no tables for the drinkers. This was despite other people eating in the bar and there being 2 further empty tables. The extension is a rather soulless modern room whereas the bar is is cosy, characterful and warm. If we were rude impolite people we could have said we wouldn’t bother with the drinks she’d poured, but as we’re not, we just decided to sit at our chosen table for our drinks and eat elsewhere. That was fine but then a further table became available, two people who clearly knew the bar lady came in, hugs were exchanged then they sat at a table in the bar with their coffee and ordered food. I approached the bar lady and said “you told us we couldn’t order food in the bar but have just allowed 2 people who arrived after us and are sitting in the bar to order food?” She had a word with the owner (Brian), then returned and said “it’s fine”. The attitude was dismissive with no hint of an apology. We decided on principle not to have food and commented to both Brian (the owner) and the bar lady as we left. The bar lady said I had been rude when all I’d done was politely ask a question but apparently it wasn’t what I said but the way I said it. Obviously the question was challenging what she’d done but was in no way rude. The owner Brian was indifferent and basically said “well I’m sorry let’s leave it there” with not a hint of sincerity. We are not new to this establishment, we live locally, but won’t ever go back there. Their approach and attitude was they couldn’t care less. Well Brian there are many other good pubs with good food in the area, where you receive a warm welcome so we won’t be coming back to the Robin Hood and wouldn’t advise anyone else to visit there either. Interestingly while we were having our drinks only 2 drinkers came in and drank their pints at the bar nobody else came in for drinks so 2 tables remained unoccupied for the whole time we were there. Good business model!!!!

Good quality tasty food available at a reasonable price, good choice of beer, ales and ciders too. Pub dog is a proper character and very friendly.

A good standard Sunday roast and well kept beer. Warm and welcoming at a reasonable price. What more do you need? A new discovery much needed after a long day.

The visit started with the bar and the first sip of the beer showed it was cared for. So my expectations went up. I really enjoyed a proper pie, not a top hat, with plenty of sauce. Was pleasantly surprised with a "warm trifle". Will definitely be going back.

A lovely local pub with brilliant freshly made food. The Steak and Ale pie I had was almost bursting with filling and tasted so good! A nice clean pint too!

We were recommended this place by a fellow camper about 1.5miles down the road. We were very pleased, lovely warm local pub welcome, friendly staff, great pint, best of all and adorable pub dog called Murphy 😀 The food was so good 👍🏼 quick service, reasonably price. Nice big beer garden and play area for my 10-year-old. Now it is my time to pass on the recommendation!

The kitchen really delivers well presented and well cooked menu The setting is not glamorous and suffers traffic noise but that is worth putting up with to enjoy the food here

Really rude landlord. Booked for 14 people. Were put on tables not together. He went to a regular who obviously drink there often. And right in front of us started moaning about us being there ! We were frim different parts of the country on holiday. Will never go again.

A really good pub with good food and nice beer. Came on spec for an early evening meal and sat in the busy and rather attractive bar. It's the sort of place you feel comfortable in straight away. Good pint of Butty Bach and a nice plate of fish & chips. Service was tip top. Just about managed to stretch to a pudding!!! A good experience! Parking at the front straight off the road. Don't forget to make a fuss of Murphy the dog....but don't feed him. Thanks to everyone at The Robin Hood.

Great little country pub, fantastic food and large beer garden. Gets the summer sun late too which is a plus! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a traditional pub with grub!

Wow. Just had the beef dinner and it was fabulous. The meet was best I've had in long time. Fresh veg and all the trimmings. Very nice relaxed atmosphere here. Looking forward to going again. Cod and chips next time.

Food was tasty but we were pretty put off by the service. We ordered 2 ciders and straight away they didn't taste right at all (yes that may have been because they weren't to our taste) but straight away we apologised to the bar lady and asked if we could swap our drinks... which she happily did. Then we get the bill and they've charged us for the drinks we didn't have. My friend spoke to the bar manager and he rudely said... well we'd already poured the drinks.. they had to go somewhere so we had to pay for 2 full pints we didn't drink! Not good customer service at all I'm afraid..if we'd have known we were going to have to pay for drinks that tasted vile, we'd have left without eating!

Been here several times. Staff really friendly and approachable. Great selection of meals.....the food has always been to a high standard.....lovely atmoshphere........the pub dog is 'oh so cute' and goes to sit with the customers. In cold weather, a lovely fire to keep you warm. Good parking.......

What a lovely little gem we came across, as soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcome by the comical and witty owner, the staff were all very lovely too and the dog who I would have quite easily adopted haha, the food was brilliant and the coffee i had was lush, its a old styled local pub with loads of atmosphere but overall the whole experience was 10/10 thank you for a lovely Sunday tea and the cutes cuddles from the doggo , we will defiantly be visiting again.

Went day before Welland Steam Rally started. Booked a table for 9. Staff were very attentive and it was definitly service with a smile. Anything we needed they were there. Place was fairly busy as well. Good bit of banter with restaurant and bar staff. Also dog friendly in the bar but for obvious reasons not in the restaurant.

Only stopped for a drink, beer was good. Plenty of parking.

Don't normally review as it can affect someones business but in this case I don't mind. Worst sunday lunch I recall. Young undertrained staff seemed out of depth and struggling. Nobody took our order then lost it when they did. Several tables who arrived after us were served first, when we got ours they had run out of some of the veg. Had three thin sorry looking discs of dry pork, two potatoes, a rubbery yorkshire and a bowl of well boiled mixed greens, all floating in very badly burned gravy. I intended to mention it to the manager or staff when they asked how our meal was but they didn't and presumably didn't care so I'll mention it here. If you can't do it, don't sell it.

I live local to this place, about 5 miles away and do on occasion visit for a pint 🍺 Just for a change myself and girlfriend went for evening meal and a pint 🥘🍺 Right from word go the welcoming conversation and banter with staff set the mood. We said we were there to have food. Not serving until 18.00, the landlord talked us through the specials board which was good and also showed his favourites on the menu How it was put to me sold me and I had roast chicken breast mozzarella tart with ratatouille and parmesan, my girlfriend had the chicken, chorizo and leek pie with chips and trimming. Nice pint of Ludlow gold ale. Utterly fantastic, the meal tasted so good and was actually filling. That also might of had something to do with the garlic and parmesan mushrooms to start. Without hesitation I would recommend this establishment even just for a pint or two but definitely for the food

Beautiful food in a traditional pub setting. Murphy the pub dog captures hearts and is a swoon for all dog lovers. Dog friendly pub....as long as you don't mind Murphy kicking about with you entertaining your canine companions whilst you enjoy food or drink.

Sadly the food was indescribably poor. The lasagna was akin to chopped baby food and the burger looked like it died a week earlier. Location and staff where great and its a huge shame that they should need to take the feedback for the quality of the food.

Went here for Sunday lunch, food was terrible. Worst Sunday lunch I've had. And mens toilets was terrible so unclean. We won't be going back and won't recommend this place

On a bank holiday break away just walking distance from the Robin Hood. A lovely little pub, great little play area for the kids, great food and a great beer garden. A real traditional pub.

Good Sunday Roast, nice to have medium cooked beef rather than well done. Maybe a few more vegetables. Good service from staff.

What a great pub. Super friendly staff, a great range of beers and the Sunday lunch was awesome. Big portions, great tasting food and amazing crackling. Nothing was to much trouble and it was nice not to be rushed. Extremely dog and child friendly with a roaring log fire… where can you go wrong. The menus is well priced and contains pub classics. Simple, tasty and worth a stop off if passing by.

Excellent food. A visit a must. We have been there twice in our five days visit to Welland!

Visited on a sunny day so sat in the lovely beer garden. Great climbing frame and space (in the shade) for the kids and the garden itself was well maintained and clean. Another bonus is being visited by Murphy the dog! We ate, food review was mixed for our party... kids burgers very nice although they could have had a few more chips. Sunday beef roast was fab, veggie lasagne good. Disappointing ploughman's... very small amount of cheese and one slice of ham which seemed stingy. Inside looked Lovely and the toilets were clean!

What a lovely Lunch we had in a typical Country Pub Great Atmosphere with polite Staff and we had a wonderful 3course Meals which were great value for money.We shall return.

Friendly and welcome atmosphere combined with some wholesome locally sourced grub. Washed down with a couple of pints. Perfect ending to an enjoyable afternoon out in the malvern hills.
