Friendly staff, tasty food, massive portions

I’ve tried different places but Redfood is the best in my opinion. Everything I have tried is very tasty and good quality. Service has always been good and friendly. If I had to pick a favourite it would have to be the Bangla, the combination of green beans and green chillies resulting in a bitter sweet hot combination - but its all down to personal taste I guess. Bangla is also fun when the eyesight is a bit off - not knowing if you have a forkful of green beans or chillies 🤣

Had a home delivery, bearing in mind we live a fair distance from them, the food was excellent. Best Rogan josh I've ever tasted and all the other items were well packaged, hot and extremely tasty. Very high quality and care is taken with the delivery. Will definitely order again and again. Thankyou

Tried the large mixed kebab and the wife had a burger meal deal. Both were excellent in taste, size and quality. Looking forward to try the curry next time. Clean and bright shop, attentive staff and everything was freshly made. Highly recommend.

Fellow curry lover citizens of Tameside, if you want outstanding quality, quantity, prompt delivery and top hygiene ratings, you won’t be disappointed in ordering from Redfood. Just love this place so much, and nowhere else comes close. Never had an order yet that has led me to be put off ordering again. Their chicken tikka jalfrezi is the best I’ve ever had and the naan breads are huge.. everything arrives fresh and piping hot. Tonight, I’d pre-ordered a chicken tikka kebab and it arrived at 7:30 as I’d requested! Cannot fault them.. you won’t be disappointed. Edited: My son was over from Canada 3 years ago.. ordered the chicken tikka jalfrezi (my recommendation) and even to this day, he still looks at the photos he took of his meal and wishes he could get it over there

We ordered popadoms, onion bhajis, chicken tikka massala, rice, saag bhaji and a mixed kebab. Food arrived quickly enough. Popadoms were soft so threw them in the bin, ate the onion bhajis which weren't the best, they were ok, I took one mouthful of the curry and it was one of the worst I've ever tasted, way to many flavours, over seasoned, rice was ok, saag bhaji was so salty, I couldn't eat it so a waste of food and money as it went straight in the bin. Other half ate some of the kebab and also said that there wasn't much meat on it and that it didn't taste great so threw that away as well. He's never one to complain or leave food so knew that was bad. I hate food waste, but just couldn't eat it, this was our first takeaway from here, and was definitely our last.

Excellent customer care, the team make you feel very welcome and are friendly, my favourite dish at the moment is chicken tikka masala with pilau rice, fast delivery service too.

Wow, just wow. Everything was so fresh, even the salad was amazing, the wife ate it and she doesn't eat salad 🤣. The curry, the nan, the burger, the everything was just beautiful. All I can say is well done Redfood because I haven't had a curry that good since the 90s. Made me remember how good takeaways used to be. Just beautiful 👍🎉👌

Went for the first time last night and have to say we were extremely impressed with both the service and food. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was ready in good time. The food itself was still piping hot when we got home, and full of flavour. I have a fussy eater and she wolfed it down. We will definitely be coming back.

Not sure if it’s been taken over but the food was shocking .. we both noticed a massive difference. We ordered kebabs, both nann breads were so thick. The chicken was thin and chewy like frozen, not like big chunks on a screwer. The Donner meat was like leather and thick, just horrible. The only thing out of £25 was the chips, they were good! But two large kebab and chips £25 later the chips were the only thing that was worth eating. Give it a wide birth… I feel like it’s changed hands

Just got a tikka kebab, they changed the mint sauce recently and OMG it's so good they should bottle it and sell at the counter, it worth going just for the sauce. The kebab was amazing too.....redfood is my number one stop for all thing yummy, seriously give them a go, you won't be disappointed

First time in a long time ordering from here so decided to go rather than ordering online and so glad I did, Mon behind the counter was fantastic recommending a ‘home style’ dish which was very good, starters and sides all great and the service was top notch, I’m glad I tried RedFood again it reminded me how good it was. Called to ask if the currys are gluten free and was told "not all of them mate". I asked if he could check specific dishes and was told "not really" and he hung up. Avoid if you have any kind of allergy.

We live in a really hard location to find and always struggle to get someone to deliver. We always collect the food from red food as we love the food here. Tonight we decided to try delivery and it was really quick, piping hot and fresh as usual. Really impressed thanks guys

I started eating the samosa's on the way home and they were so tasty I couldn't wait to get home and tuck into my chicken tikka kebab on garlic naan with masala sauce and all I could keep saying was WOW. Flavour is still bouncing around in my mouth as I'm typing this review, by far my favourite takeaway. The best part about the whole going in to collect is being greeted by their very friendly front of desk staff. I Highly recommended

The best Curry I have ever had! Amazing value for money and the owner (pictured) is super accommodating, as he often allows me to switch an item for something else! As a regular customer, I get greeted with a drink on the house and a big smile too! The food is top quality, and so is the service. Freshly cooked with a 5-star food hygiene rating. I highly recommend onion Bhaji and Meat Samosa!

I've ordered from Redfood 3-4 times now and each time the food has been excellent. I've just had the mixed kebab which contains Donner, chicken tikka and lamb tikka and the portion size is massive (see image). The chicken tikka is more like chicken tandoori in that it is properly marinated and tastes delicious. There is a huge amount of chicken on the kebab and for £8.90 itis a bargain just for the amount of chicken. The donner is actually different to many other takeaways in that it is not greasy or cut in thin strips. It looks like it is hand carved with a caring knife as it is thickly cut and wide. This makes it taste more meaty and makes their kebabs taste like a proper donner kebab should! I ordered a chicken tikka starter with my kebab and the portion size was massive. I was actually shocked at just how large the chicken cubes were and they were very nicely marinated and was served with some coriander and onions which also added to the flavour. What I find interesting is that Redfood do not appear to be sites like Just-eat but you can order and pay on-line through their own website. Overall, the food is great and I hope they continue to deliver such high quality. In terms of delivery, this always has been really quick and delivered piping hot each time. The delivery drivers are also very friendly and and always appreciative of the custom. My advice to anyone reading this review is to give them a try as you will not be disappointed!!

Had two orders delivered from here now after a recommendation, must say, the food was delicious and still hot when it arrived, it's the nicest pathia I've had by far, delivery was really quick too and very friendly drivers, our new favourite takeaway for Indian food.

Unfortunately i can't give more than one star for this restaurant: seems like the reviews on here are abit suspicious after my experience. We ordered a meal online for the first time and I honesty hace to say I didn't find the restaurant good at all. My dish was full of sauce and tiny pieces of chicken also tasted burnt and they seem to use some cheap oils, it was greasy took me ages to digest bad quality food causing me stomach issues this morning. Very little meat on the kebab there was more salad than meat another scam with some Indian restaurants I've noticed Nobody enjoyed it really. Also it Arrived quite quick so got me wondering how fresh the food really is??? I hardly ever post reviews at all, but this was quite disappointing so I feel that I should write something on this awful experience...WOULDN'T RECOMMEND AND DEFINITELY WONT BE USING AGAIN. 😡

Ordered a takeaway tonight 45 min wait they said it’s now 80 min and NO SHOW phoned to see what the hold up was, but NO ANSWER 🤬🤬🤬🤬
