The place when walking in looks like a pub out of date with neon lights and dim ancient lights got a mixture of everything. Main concern is that the staff are uneducated as I asked is the food halal there was no certificate for HMC verified. The staff repeatedly said yes halal wanting custom however when checking the menu inside there’s currys mixed with alcohol and then stated this and asked for proof to see if their halal verified. Unfortunately they then had nothing to say and said it’s up to you totally disgraceful why not just say it’s not halal and we mix alcohol with the dishes.

Had a fantastic meal here for my daughters birthday. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful and even sang happy birthday! Definitely recommend and we will be back .

The service was really nice, you could tell the staff were really ready to help/assist. Atmosphere was great, easy to talk with your table. little to no wait (possibly around 10 minutes for my food) overall would come again!

Tbh I thought the food was fine, my problem is that I collected a takeaway for just over £30 and there is supposed to be a 10% discount. There's always some place will try it on and this is on of those places. No discount. Fine, no more business from me.

My dining experience at Purple Naan was fantastic.The food was great, the personnel was really pleasant, and the environment was cosy and welcoming. Each meal was tasty and exquisitely presented. The chiken tikka which was cooked to perfection, was my favourite. The personnel went above and beyond to make sure we had a nice day, and the service was timely. To anyone searching for an amazing supper, I heartily recommend this establishment. I'm eager to return!

I visited UNIQ INDIAN BAR&GRILL and had a wonderful experience! The restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the lamb curry and the tandoori chicken. The restaurant also has a great selection of drinks, including some unique and tasty cocktails. Overall, I highly recommend UNIQ INDIAN BAR&GRILL for anyone looking for a fantastic Indian dining experience. I will definitely be returning!

A fantastic spot for authentic Indian cuisine! The flavors are spot-on, with dishes like chettinadu chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala cooked to perfection. The naan is fresh and soft, and Lotus Biscoff cheese cake is a must-try dessert. Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere make it a Excellent and lovely restaurant and Highly recommended to everyone who loves Curry 😋😋

We visited for the first time this evening after it had been recommended and I can see why! Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The menu is very comprehensive so we were spoiled for choice. At least that means we have lots of new choices for our next visit! The staff are wonderful and so friendly. It was my husband's birthday and they even finished off with a treat for him. We will be back here soon I am sure. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Lovely restaurant, has a good mix of Chinese and Indian dishes with some that aren't that common. They also have a reasonable selection of drinks. Not just the usual lagers available in most Indian restaurants.

If you love chilli 🌶 and spicy food, then do must visit. Loved the taste it wasn't bad at all. A bit too much spicy but overall it was really good and the prices are also reasonable.

We absolutely love it here. We go once a week, every Tuesday and try something different every time. They have great veggie options and you can choose what level of spice you want in your curry. The staff are lovely and welcoming and it's a nice, relaxed atmosphere. They even know our drinks before we ask.

Food absolutely amazing, they were busy so service a little slow. I suggest they tidy up a bit at the front outside, weeds and litter. It will have better kerb appeal which will encourage new visitors.

Wow! Tonight we had Beautiful food, we had starters of Chilli Paneer with fresh peppers, this was spicy but with a sweet tangy indo chinese twist, potato vardo and cauliflower bang bang, all spot on and full of flavour. Mains were Chettanaudu chicken medium strength. King Prawn Aleppy, juicy prawns with a sweet and tangy medium sauce with curry leaf and tomatoes. Mangolorian Kori Gassi, chicken medium strength with a tamarind and coconut tangy taste. Cumin Jeera rice and the best naan breads we've had anywhere! Madri Stella and Kingfisher were enjoyed by my hubby and son, I was driving so didn't sample the wine, we will most definitely be back.

First time, last time I'm afraid. Watery curries and overcooked rice, pilau rice tasted like it had tomatoes sauce in it. Naan was nice.

Since its name change, the dining experience has declined significantly. We had enjoyed the food and exceptional service at this establishment when it was known as Unique. However, our recent visit to Purple Nann was disappointing. The menu has become more limited, and the food quality has noticeably diminished. Unfortunately, 5 out of 12 of us fell ill within hours of eating. To add to our dissatisfaction, the service was remarkably slow, with a 50-minute wait for poppadoms despite only two other occupied tables. It's perplexing, especially since the front-of-house staff remains the same as before the name change. Whether it's the chefs or management, something beyond the name alteration has changed, and not for the better. Regrettably, we don't anticipate returning.

I attended here for Christmas Day Dinner with my 9 year old son. The food was amazing, we both agreed, the service was brilliant and it was reasonabley priced. Highly recommended. We both had a lovely Christmas Day. I had a vegetable passandar and my son had a child portion of chicken Railway curry made slightly milder due to his age.
