Lovely food and staff,, shame it seemed so quiet on a Saturday teatime I think it's a hidden gem will definitely be returning 🥰

Great experience on first time visit.

We absolutely love it here. We go once a week, every Tuesday and try something different every time. They have great veggie options and you can choose what level of spice you want in your curry. The staff are lovely and welcoming and it's a nice, relaxed atmosphere. They even know our drinks before we ask.

Food absolutely amazing, they were busy so service a little slow. I suggest they tidy up a bit at the front outside, weeds and litter. It will have better kerb appeal which will encourage new visitors.

Wow! Tonight we had Beautiful food, we had starters of Chilli Paneer with fresh peppers, this was spicy but with a sweet tangy indo chinese twist, potato vardo and cauliflower bang bang, all spot on and full of flavour. Mains were Chettanaudu chicken medium strength. King Prawn Aleppy, juicy prawns with a sweet and tangy medium sauce with curry leaf and tomatoes. Mangolorian Kori Gassi, chicken medium strength with a tamarind and coconut tangy taste. Cumin Jeera rice and the best naan breads we've had anywhere! Madri Stella and Kingfisher were enjoyed by my hubby and son, I was driving so didn't sample the wine, we will most definitely be back.

Had Evening meal here with my wife and had a great time. Great Atmosphere and Friendly staff. The food is Amazing. I been to other well know Indians around Leigh and Warrington but have to say the food here is far better.

Lovely friendly restaurant. Very reasonable. Just be careful as the curries are on the hot side, even if you ask for mild. Even the korma has a spice.

First time, last time I'm afraid. Watery curries and overcooked rice, pilau rice tasted like it had tomatoes sauce in it. Naan was nice.

Since its name change, the dining experience has declined significantly. We had enjoyed the food and exceptional service at this establishment when it was known as Unique. However, our recent visit to Purple Nann was disappointing. The menu has become more limited, and the food quality has noticeably diminished. Unfortunately, 5 out of 12 of us fell ill within hours of eating. To add to our dissatisfaction, the service was remarkably slow, with a 50-minute wait for poppadoms despite only two other occupied tables. It's perplexing, especially since the front-of-house staff remains the same as before the name change. Whether it's the chefs or management, something beyond the name alteration has changed, and not for the better. Regrettably, we don't anticipate returning.

I attended here for Christmas Day Dinner with my 9 year old son. The food was amazing, we both agreed, the service was brilliant and it was reasonabley priced. Highly recommended. We both had a lovely Christmas Day. I had a vegetable passandar and my son had a child portion of chicken Railway curry made slightly milder due to his age. Thanks Purple Naan, and we hope to return soon.

Best authentic Indian food I've had in a restaurant. Absolutely beautiful flavours that linger on your tongue and lips, I couldn't have enjoyed my food more (I had a Tarka Dal). The staff were also lovely. Will be coming back when I can!

Lovely to see an authentic Indian restaurant in Leigh. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. We had chicken 65 as a starter which was as good as the ones I had in India. The achari lamb , the paneer were all delicious . As an Indian I would recommend this place to anyone who want to try authentic Indian food.

We came here for an anniversary meal. We were warmly greeted by a very nice man who showed us to our table. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we had a delicious meal. Nothing was too much trouble for the Staff who were very attentive without being pushy. It was our first time here and we will definitely come again and will recommend to our friends. Very enjoyable experience and I wish them well for the future.

The lady who greeted us was very friendly and gave us a choice of where we wanted to sit. It was 7pm on a Friday and the restaurant was very quiet. The lady quickly brought us the menus and informed us that the only draft beer they had was Stella. She then left us to view the menus. After a few minutes a waiter came to take our oder. He seemed very nervous was very quietly spoke. I ordered the Chicken Goan Curry (£12.95) and my partner ordered the Chicken Punjabi Sytle (£11.50). Plain rice (£2.50), Garlic Naan (£2.75) and a Peshwari Naan (£3.50). To drink I opted for a large bottle of Cobra (£5.45) and my partner ordered a small Coke (£2.75). When the drinks came the Coke for small was rather large. At the end of the evening the bill showed a pint of Pepsi. This wasn't a big issue as I like Pepsi and finished my partners drink off. Both curry's had plenty of chicken in them and the sauces were superb. The naan breads were as good if not better than any of the best curry houses we have eaten in. The music in the restaurant was not too loud, however it was not to our liking. It sounded like popular english music with an Indian influence. We would rather just have Indian music like most other Indian restaurants we have visited. Having really enjoyed our meal we were just finishing off our drinks when a table close by became occupied. Unfortunately this group could not structure a sentence together without swearing. Obviously not the restaurants fault, however it was now time to leave. We will be visiting again as the food was that good.

Went to Uniq last night for out 5th time, and yet again thoroughly enjoyed it, food was very tasty and staff as friendly as ever. We are now definitely regulars and don't see the need to go anywhere else.

Came with my works Christmas Do in January. I was so excited to come back. The food was incredible so delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We can’t fault a thing. The restaurant also has a great selection of drinks, including some unique and tasty cocktails. Staff very friendly and attentive .. we hadn't booked but they were very happy to seat us straight away. Menu had a very good choice of dishes. Food was served all together for our party of three, staff were very efficient. All the food was hot and cooked perfectly, fabulous presentation and it was delicious. Nice size portions too. Well worth the price we paid. We will definitely be eating there again.
