Went to a charity fundraising event and wow!! Wasn't expecting such a great event. Live music, stalls, raffles, kids play area, amazing food. We had a fantastic time.

Fantastic pub, great atmosphere and it was packed, clearly very community and customer focussed, welcomed us and our dog very warmly, great service, very friendly staff and customers, great singer, lovely food (laid on free by the pub for Mothers Day), we had a great welcome when all the other pubs for miles weren't serving food or other pubs didn't welcome dogs because it was Mother's Day. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Sam and the team, keep up the great work 😁

Can't rate it highly enough. It's a very welcoming pub. It's warm and they serve delicious food. We go there every week and we hope that it will continue for a long time.

Very pleasant typical village pub. Not part of a chain. Limited parking facilities. Nice atmosphere. Quiz nights. Occasional music entertainment.

Just like stepping back into the 1970s. Even had cheese n onion cobs available. Very much a classic locals local but good food fayre is the main attraction these days.

Lovely local village pub, lots of history within these walls, lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff, just recently started doing food and Sunday lunches, which are very nice and I'd definitely recommend. Good traditional home cooked food and if you enjoy coffee and a cake then you have to try the afternoon tea with a range of homemade cakes, absolutely stunning!

Just started serving Sunday lunch. Went this week, excellent meal. One of the best I've had in a long time. You could tell it was home cooked, very fresh and tasty. £9.95 for main meal with a choice of lamb, beef or pork this week. Sweets available if wanted. Great, friendly service would definitely go again.

Food excellent, Chloe goes out of her way to give you a warm welcome, pub has now become the place to be on entertainment evenings.

Lovely afternoon was had ,we had a baby shower there ,young bar man was very friendly and Mandy who done the afternoon tea was very friendly and welcoming couldn't do enough for you as for her beautiful scones cakes and sandwiches they were to die for definitely gonna visit on a Wednesday afternoon for cake ,tea and a couple of wines and catch up with friends really enjoyed

Excellent value for our post funeral buffet. Discreet service and lovely fresh sandwiches and finger foods. Definitely recommended.

Wow! Not many of these around anymore. A proper pub with friendly staff and the locals really do go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Watch out for the one they call Hoppy apparently he's a bit of a wind up.
