My husband and I ate in Hope Street last night and it did not disappoint. The floor staff were very friendly and worked extremely hard as the place was busy. There only appeared to be three staff but they were efficient, constantly on the go and nothing appeared to be too much bother for them. There was a lovely atmosphere with couples, young people, families and single diners all just having a good time. The food was delicious, the goat cheese fritters were the lightest we've ever had along with a complimentary starter that was lovely too and had a little kick.! The main courses were superb, served nice and hot and tasted fresh and flavoursome. We had chicken and seabass. Unfortunately we were so full up we had no room for dessert but the menu had a good choice. There was a small corkage charge for bottles of beer and wine but overall it was good value for money and being able to "bring your own" is an added bonus. We had a very enjoyable meal, compliments to the chef and thanks to the waiting staff for making the whole experience a pleasant one. We would recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. It is a rare case when you get a lot above expectations and what previous reviews have described. An excellent place for business travellers. Servis is swift and polite. Clean and a variety of choice. Cultural and religion adoption were available. Location is most convenient. Close to city centre and few steps from the popular hotels.

The food was amazing. Delicious wild mushroom rissotto! And pudding dessert! I will absolutely come back! Great service!

Lovely last minute find & five minutes from our hotel....great menu with varied choice...we didn't order starters but offered complimentary bread and chilli beef which were delicious...main courses couldn't be faulted..brisket of beef and hake with risotto...would Definitely recommend a visit her...great service and well priced

Went there after work with 2 others and for pre theatre menu. Food was sublime. Pork Confit was the best I've ever tasted. Fishcakes for starters were absolutely delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their plates.Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, as we were very early on a Wednesday. Soon filled up, however around seven. The finest aspect was the service. Anna served us throughout, and was extremely polite and helpful. Service was excellent, food sublime. Will definitely be back again very soon, and highly recommend 👌

An elegant restaurant with excellent service and food. It is a BYO with a small corkage charge. We had a doube beef and a salmon. Both were full of flavour and delicious. We followed with the Eton Mess. Wow. Would definitely return.

I'm an easy customer, but the service in Pizza Punks was shockingly bad. We were led to a table with little or no warmth or interaction, handed menus and left to our table. We waited 10-12mins or or more while waitresses walked by with no eye contact, spraying nearby tables half heartedly, until eventually I had to walk to a girl rubbing cutlery to ask if someone might take an order. While giving orders we were told that some ingredients were unavailable, as were the Mocktails... fine. I'll have red wine (one choice only.. Merlot) OK.. to be told another 10 mins later than in fact there's not red wine at all... Really?? in a pizza restaurant. Pizzas ordered and ready on the bench waiting for anyone to pass and decide to deliver to the hungry slightly fed up patrons. Pizza was admittedly tasty but service badly let this restaurant down. For the first time in years, I didn't leave any additional tip to the "discretionary 10%" We won't be returning.

I don’t know what people Are smoking in Belfast…but I want some!! You have to be high and have some serious munchies to come here. I went here because it had decent review with over 550 people, but honestly the food was not good, the atmosphere was old and dated, not in a pub style way (which would be ok). The wait staff was average at best. I had put in a google search for best sticky toffee pudding since it was my last day in Ireland and it was the only dish I didn’t try on this trip . This came up as an excellent place and was by my hotel. Truthfully I wouldn’t feed it to my Dog (if I had a dog). This coming from a guy who can eat at McDonald’s or a high end restaurant and enjoys most the food. Google needs to do better in qualifying these places as I feel robbed of my money.

Went to get a takeaway lunch with my husband who is a coeliac (gluten free) no issues when ordering as they have gluten free bases for an additional £2 and change the pizzas to accommodate. However when he was half way through it he found some macaroni pasta in the box and has since been unwell ruining the end of a good holiday. The service was quick and the accommodated for myself who is dairy free. Pizza was average, was shy on toppings. Shame they couldn’t managed cross contamination for a coeliac

The staff was very friendly and extremely attentive. the food was delicious and nicely prepared. However, the music was too loud and some guests were probably even louder because of that.

Friendly, happy atmosphere. Very attentive service. Flavourful seafood risotto - thought I might not manage it all, but soooo good, I found that yes! I could. H had beef brisket that was tender and delicious. We had no room for puddings but having read other reviews, I wish we had. Thank you Hope Street Restaurant.

This was honest-to-godless one of the best pizzas I've had in my entire life (and I'm over 40 and come from an area of the US known for its vast culinary options, so that's really saying something!). I got the salted chili chicken pizza. Others at my table got different offerings and everyone was quite happy with their food, both vegan and non-vegan. Some interesting beers too. It was kind of loud in there, but that's to be expected.

We went to pizza punks for dinner, what can I say about it. Well it was noisy, they served pizza and cocktails ! Yes, cocktails how very Punk! I had a "Ruby Murray" which actually was very good, if not weird!

A really excellent restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the calamari, the hake and the Eton Mess, all of which I highly recommend. I did pay more than £40 for one person, but I think the quality of the food made it worth it.

Called in as we were peckish but not starving. Got a pizza between us & a side salad. Once I tasted it I wish I had been starving as it was one of the best pizzas I've tasted in years. Crispy beautiful base & very tasty top. Even the side salad was exceptional. Hadn't tried pizza punks before this but certainly would again.

The food was wonderful. The dessert was great. Don't order the Irish coffee though. We have had a dozen across Ireland and this is by far the most American Irish coffee ever. Not good!

My friend and I came to Belfast for a 3 day break. Our last evening 29th August we decided to try Hope Street Restaurant which is a hidden GEM. We had not booked but we were able to get a table. It is bring your own drink which we hadn't.The young lady offered to go to the shop to purchase the wine for us. I thanked her and went myself. My friend and I ordered starters and main. My friend chose fish cakes and belly pork which she said was the best meal she had whilst on her visit. I went for Thai chilly beef which was so tender and plenty. My main was prawn linguine with chilli cream sauce. We decided to share Eton mess even though we were stuffed. Thank you to all the staff waiting and chefs for their incredible service given. We will certainly be back and will tell our friends about you.

We visited on 22nd August and chose the restaurant based on the reviews. We had an exceptional meal and first class service. Our main course was delayed due to an equipment issue in the kitchen but we were kept informed. We didn't mind as we weren't in a hurry and when the belly pork arrived it was delicious and well worth the wait. The goat's cheese fritters are highly recommended too. At the end of the meal, we were given a dessert without charge as well as not charging us for our drinks,both of which were unnecessary, but a sign of excellent customer care. We had a lovely evening and will be sure to visit again.

We came here on a Wednesday evening for the pre-theatre menu and it exceeded our expectations! The waiting staff were friendly and attentive, super quick service. My mum ordered the pasta but didn’t realise it had cream in it which she can’t have, the waiting staff were apologetic even though it was not their fault and quickly ensured we got a replacement meal quickly. The chef also sent us out an extra dessert for free due to the mix up. Top service, amazing food and amazing value/prices. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Belfast!

What a fabulous restaurant. We visited on a busy Sunday night and we were so impressed from the moment we arrived. The service from Shailesh and one other server was exceptional 👌 We ordered pork belly and sirloin steak for our mains and it was out of this world! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and we would 100% return! Thanks so much for a fantastic meal and night and we will see you all again soon. We, as a group of five, stumbled upon the review on Google and decided to try. Lady who hosted us was extremely nice and helpful. Even exquisite food didn’t surpass her hospitality. The different meals were simply fantastic and really really tasty. It’s interesting that alcoholic drinks aren’t served in the restaurant. But you can bring your own and staff will serve it for you with your meal In a nutshell, it’s the place where you would get the great food in a fantastic another My recommendations are slow cooked brisket and daube of beef. Both the appetizer and main were delicious. It seemed like a place famous for food. There was no service charge and I was satisfied with the price as it was 34 pounds for the appetizer, main and coffee.

The food was gorgeous, the staff were lovely and they even gave us some dessert on the house! We had a really enjoyable stay. I'd recommend the Thai chilli beef as a starter, really flavourful and I haven't had anything like it. Thanks for a beautiful evening!

Excellent food and very friendly service. There is only a small selection of non-alcoholic drinks. You should bring your own drinks, which seems to be common practice in some restaurants in Belfast. But this wasn't a problem. You can buy these in Tesco Market not far away. We can recommend the restaurant without reservation! Thanks for the great evening!!!

Went for the pre dinner menu before a show, and it was very fairly priced and the food and service were great, I would definitely come back here again, you should give this place a try! I asked for my steak medium rare and it actually came out medium rare, a rare occurrence in Belfast these days, it was great!

Great service, awesome food. very nice atmosphere. they don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own for which they charge a small opening fee. That's a big savings there.

We came to Hope Street for their pre theatre menu and it was amazing! 2 courses very reasonably priced and plenty of options including vegetarian. The mushroom risotto was unbelievable and would highly recommend it! The staff, in particular our waitress Anna, were very attentive and friendly, making the experience wonderful! We will definitely be back. The only thing i would comment is that £5.50 for corkage seems a bit steep, especially if you’re bringing a couple of bottles :)

Our last night in Ireland. In search for Sticky Toffee, a dessert popular in Europe, Hope Street in Belfast came through. I had the tomato soup which was particularly flavorful and very rich. I really like the taste of strong soups. Paired with a crisp, well-balanced salad, it made for a perfect combination of light yet satisfying dishes. This sticky toffee is something. It’s like a brownie stuffed with caramel but it’s not caramel, it’s something else, maybe a date mixture? I don’t know and I don’t care. It was scrumptious. The freshness of the ingredients stood out here like everywhere in Europe. This is a solid spot to eat in Belfast.

Found this place out by chance and circumstance. The food was spectacular and was just so tasty. Recommend the thai chilli beef, goats cheese balls, soup and pork belly. Also really appreciated the attentive service and for squeezing us in when we hadn't booked. Atmosphere was tremendous and was great value.

We found this restaurant while looking for halal option, which unfortunately in Belfast, aren't too many. My husband and I enjoyed our time so much here! The owner told us that they do certain halal dishes that includes beef and chicken options! We opted for the pre theater menu and chose chili beef and fish cakes as starters and the restaurant gave us free goat cheese fritters! The chili beef was so delicious and the rest was good too. For mains, we got sirloin steak and butterfly chicken. Both dishes were heavenly! Steak was medium rare like I ordered. So many places get that wrong for whatever reason. And for dessert, we ordered sticky toffee pudding and apply crumble. The apple crumble was nice but the pudding stole the show! Can't recommend this place enough. The restaurant is small but not too small and cozy and the ambience is romantic. Perfect for a date :)

Very cozy place and totally recommended. Delicious food and very attentive staff. They warned us that the food would take a while to be prepared (in the end it was no more than half an hour) and they treated us to a starter while we waited. As if that were not enough, they invited us to a dessert at the end. We will definitely return!

Beautiful restaurant, with lovely staff, even gave us a complimentary additional starter, which was delicious. Would highly recommend. It is BYO for alcohol however so be aware of this if wanting an alcoholic drink with your dinner, but they do provide corkage and glassware.

We had the pre theatre dinner on Saturday evening and enjoyed gorgeous food, wonderful service and the best atmosphere. This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last, thoroughly recommend Hope Street.

We had the most beautiful meal in Hope Street Restaurant....the food the ambience and all of the staff were first class....it is a must do if you are in Belfast. Well done.

Had dinner here while on a Belfast trip and can't recommend it enough! The food was divine, and the staff very attentive and friendly. We received 2 complimentary dishes, while waiting for the food (I noticed they offered to every table), tap water bottles were constantly replaced on the table. We had different mains (pork belly confit, tomato soup, mushroom risotto, chicken supreme, beef brisket) and everyone enjoyed their foods. Finished off with sticky toffee pudding (delicious) and eton mess (could have done with a tiny bit more chantilly, but otherwise perfect). And sides and drinks. The whole meal costed us around 30 pounds per person. 100% go there for dinner, we were lucky to get a table for a group this size, they were quite full overall, so maybe book.

Freshly prepared food was amazing. Great service. Food was just the right temperature piping hot main dishes. Dessert were out of world.

When there are more guests, the kitchen exhaust fan is not powerful enough, and the room is full of smoke, so all I want to do is finish eating and go out.

What a gem of a restaurant. Really quality food, fantastic presentation and amazing flavours. We had the Thai Beef to start and was given a complimentary taster of the fish cakes. The portion size was larger than expected. For mains we had Daube of Beef and the Sea Bass with a side of Champ. Big mistake ordering the side because its was hardly touched. The restaurant is BYO with a very reasonable corkage charge. Overall I can’t recommend the restaurant enough. We’re only on Belfast 3 nights and we’re eating here for 2 of them.

You can’t miss visiting this restaurant if you are in Belfast. They have amazing starters like mutton cheese balls with salad with absolutely amazing mains and desserts. All crafted fresh in the restaurant itself by the professionals.

Me and my family went here for our Dad’s 60th birthday. The food was excellent. The starters were all very tasty. As mains, the pork belly and salmon were definitely a top pick. If I was to return I’d love to try the beef as the beef starter was delicious. The service was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Would definitely recommend.

This place was wonderful. Service was absolutely amazing and the staff were super friendly. The food was incredible and some of the best I’ve had in a long time. I would highly recommend. They gave us an appetizer and dessert on the house. Absolutely amazing. Hands down the best brownie I’ve ever had in my life.

Visited directly after opening at 5pm on a Saturday evening and had the pre-theatre deal. The menu is conservative but all the dishes were very well cooked and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was full very quicly and had a real buzz.

This was a last minute Tuesday night booking and we only just got in so book early! Lovely welcome and swift service. We given a complimentary munchy thing which was amazing. Husband had brisket and champ which he ate with a relish and really enjoyed. Nephew had the steak which he devoured in double quick time. I had the green thai curry and was warned it was spicy, I like spicy but whilst it was pleasant and good quality, I wasn't bowled over. We would all go again as it has everything, atmosphere, good food and service.

I have lived in the UK for seven months and this is the most delicious food I have ever eaten. My friend was presented with a simple and delicious starter and I ordered the soup of the day, which was tomato soup that day and was delicious. For main courses, we had green curry and sea bass, each of which was delicious. The setting of the restaurant is very romantic and the music taste is very good. I wish I could live in Belfast and eat here every day🥺💕

Delicious meal! We thought the servings might be small on the fixed price 2 and 3 course pre theater menus - but they aren’t! Unfortunately most of us couldn’t finish our delicious meals because we were stuffed! Wonderful food, service, atmosphere, everything! Just be sure to come with a big appetite and bring your own bottle of wine if you want that as they are BYOB.

So glad I booked this restaurant for my husbands birthday during our short trip to belfast. The food was beautiful, the best meal we've had in a long time. I had the chicken supreme, and my husband had the steak (which was cooked to perfection). Lovely desserts too. The restaurant is a BYO and we paid £5.50 for corkage for a bottle of wine. Friendly service, would highly recommend you won't be disappointed!

So pleased we listened to the reviews of this lovely restaurant. The staff, food, all amazing, from the goats cheese fritters to the chilli squid , from the fab seafood risotto to the salmon, and the veggie Thai curry, all delicious.....ate as a family of four grown ups. Desserts too , only positive comments . Staff very kind and very efficient. Had a wonderful chat with Ashi, the manager, after service, great to exchange views and to compliment the chef too. We ate here as a family of 5. We picked this restaurant because of the reviews on line, and it did not disappoint. The food was exceptional. The the atmosphere is cozy, and staff are very friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem in Belfast. My only complaint is that our stay in Belfast isn’t longer. We would’ve been back again to try more dishes on the menu.

Hope Street restaurant is a hidden gem in Belfast. We have been going there regularly for several years, not just because it is BYO but also because there is an excellent choice on the menu, the food is superb and there is a great atmosphere there. The husband and wife who run it work very hard and are always so friendly. We have had large groups of friends and families there for birthdays and a graduation and we had great nights there So it is a restaurant we will continue to go to. We highly recommend it.

Had a great experience at Hope Street Restaurant for Mother's Day. Ordered the Thai Beef starter and 10oz Steak main and they were cooked perfectly and the taste was outstanding.

Disappointing. The pizza was almost cold by the time it arrived. The toilets were filthy, that's always a bad sign. The waitress stood at the opposite end of the table when she was taking my order and had to ask about 3 times what it was...

Great place. Staff friendly and food fantastic. 1st time I had been. I would advise booking as very busy. Its BYO drink as well. Great choice on menu. Will definitely be back.

I recently dined at Hope Street Restaurant in Belfast, UK, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was charming, with warm lighting and cozy seating. The Caprese salad I ordered was fresh and bursting with flavor, a perfect balance of tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. The food was very reasonably priced and incredibly delicious!!! The waitstaff was prompt and on top of clearing the table after every course as well as making sure we were taken care of even when the restaurant was packed on a Saturday night! Highly recommend if you are in Belfast city centre!! Would go back over and over to try the different dishes! The Cod bites for a starter were outstanding!! And the Chili Beef was Devine! 5 out of 5 stars in every respect!! 🤟🤟💯💯🐐🐐🐐

Had a great valentines night out and the staff were so friendly - my wife left her glasses but we had to fly back next morning before they reopened- they posted them to us in England at their expense - not only a great place to eat but fab staff!

Hidden gem Stopped in for a meal with a bunch from work. It was a quieter atmosphere that we had thought,but we were blown away by the quality of the food served. No one left hungry,and the prices were more than reasonable. Immaculate service as well. Don't miss out on this one. Be warned though, no liquor license, so no beer with the meal if that's what you're after.

Came across this restaurant while on a day trip to Belfast. Food was really good quality. My girlfriend an I went for their Monday deal, 2 pizza’s & 2 drinks for £26. The pizzas are a large size, definitely value for money. Our server Sean was great too.

Really good pizza and beer. Love that you can put as many topping on as you want for the same price. My only gripe is the 10% gratuity put on the bill. Its not america folks! I would never leave 8 quid for a tip even if I was getting unbelievable service. The service here was the weakest part of the restaurant. Had to chase after dips and drinks. Hear me right, it's not terrible service it's just fairly laid back. But for that you cannot expect 10% tip folks.it would put me off I'll be honest.

Amazing pizza and great atmosphere such a funky place! Really enjoyed the cocktail too. Reasonably priced food considering how amazing it is.

We had Neve as a server as she was so lovely, she always made sure to come check on us. The Pizzas were amazing and I totally can't wait to go back!

Dined in as a family of 4. It was a nice experience but a bit too extravagant and romantic for children, however aside from that everything was perfect. As for the food, I had a 2 course meal for around 27 pounds, and it consists as a wide variety of desserts, mains and starters. For my main, I ate chicken with a delicous sauce accompanied with potatoes. As my starter, I ordered the Ceasar Salad loaded with mayonaisse 😅. It was ok, but because of the standart of the other food, I would recommend something else. The dessert however was exquisite as shown on the picture. In general, all plates were abundant and presented beautifully. Overall, great time 😄
