DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY!!! NOTICED PEOPLE WHERE USING KNIFES AND FORKS WHILST EATING PIZZA'S ? AFTER ORDERING I REALISED WHY. THEY'RE SO SOGGY YOU CAN'T USE YOUR HANDS.. TASTELESS! RUSHED! BURNT ON THE OUTSIDE! FELT SICK THE NEXT DAY. OH AND HAD TO SHOWER AND WASH MY HAIR AND CLOTHES AS THEY SMELT LIKE GREASE! OBVIOUSLY NO WORKING FAN🙄 HOW CAN THE OWNER GER GET AWAY WITH THIS?!!!!!

Lovely pizza and salad, prompt courteous service. Would go again if I was in the area.

Pizza was absolutely fantastic - we all absolutely loved it. My 11 year old Son usually isn’t much of an eater but he absolutely loved the pizza here and was very impressed. Servers were really friendly too and we would highly recommend this place for families and couples.

Expensive for what you get, you should try carridges in Larne if your looking for a super pizza.

We ate dinner here mid week at an early hour and they were still booked out, we got one of the last 3 available walk in tables. We got the vegan and the Carnivora with drinks. The Carnivora was lovely as was the vegan. The vegan pizza needed vegan cheese to hold it together though. Beautiful interior overlooking the Christmas markets.

This was a solid pizza outing. Nice bases and toppling. Pizzas were big and was easy to over order with sides. Pizza boxes arrived with no fuss to take the leftovers home and they tasted great the next day. Nice relaxed dining. Fast efficient service so full marks all round.

First class service! The food was so good that we had to come back second time in one day. Truly amazing experience. Highly recommended!

We had high hopes at the price of the pizzas , but they were dashed, I had a make you own, the most tasteless expensive pizza I’ve ever had, we ordered a side which never appeared the other pizzas were ok but far from anything special we ordered dips and potatoes pizzas arrived waited a wee while had to ask for the dips, asked for the potatoes again they never arrived but were put on the bill, the cocktails makers need lessons The staff were pleasant enough and the building and surroundings were very nice and a great location

Nice restaurant but the pizzas have no taste! For the price it's an abuse. The waiters are in a hurry and force themselves to take the order... if you want to eat a pizza in the area, I don't recommend it!

Loved this restaurant on a tour trip through Belfast. The staff was very helpful and quick, and the pizza was perfect. Definitely recommend.

The main choices on the menu are pizza but they do offer a few pasta selections as well as appetizers. We were greeted promptly as we entered and were seated immediately. Pleasant surprise considering it was prime dinner time. The place was fairly full. Drink orders taken and food order was done when drinks were delivered. We only ordered a pizza to be split between 3 of us but we did order bruschetta as an appy. The pizza was very good, with a nice light crust. You get 8 pieces of pizza per pie.

Popped in for dinner, ordered two pizzas and it was delicious, with generous portion sizes. Such quick friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Couldn't fault it at all, highly recommend.

Excellent service from the minute we walked through the door to when we left. We visited on a Weds night and was pleasantly surprised to see how busy it was. Seated in the furthest dinning area it was cosy and welcoming. Menu for both food & drink was comprehensive. Service was prompt. Pizzas were sooo tasty. Highly recommend a visit.

Yummy pizza and gluten free options. I love the location because you can see the Belfast City Hall out the window. We were the last family to arrive about 30 minutes before closing and they sat us and did not make us feel rushed at all! Highly recommend for straightforward pizza and good location.

We had been looking for somewhere near in the City Centre after the restaurant we were at had to close early due to a maintenance issue. We spoke to the wonderful staff here who done everything they could to fit us in and make it a nice evening for our large group. All of the food was great. with an incredible Penne Arrabiata.

Went there with my dad and brother, we all woke up the next day with bad stomach cramps, unable to keep even water down without throwing it up. Food poisoning.

Me and work colleagues had dinner today. We order 2 portions of garlic bread which was evidently frozen pre made garlic bread which was burnt in places and cost nearly £12 for 10 small slices. What really made the meal and service bad was that one of the 5 pizzas we order was found to have a short black hair which didn’t belong to anyone having dinner but the one of the two cooks had similar hair and was not wearing a hairnet or anything. When we reported this to the staff it was handled in a manner that seemed like it was common place and nothing new to them. They only offered to remove the one pizza from the bill and didn’t offer any compensation for destroying our dinner together. The person who found the hair was sick later as a result of it. In general the food was very expensive for what it was Had nice decor but only had one bathroom which did offer nice facilities such a hairspray and body spray to help people clean up during a meal

Very nice restaurant located in the center of Belfast. My partner wanted something vegetarian and I wanted pizza. We ended up with a delicious pasta and calzone. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices. Beautiful location overlooking Belfast City Hall.

The best pizza we've had in a good while! Half a pizza each was more than enough for us, we took our pizzas home and ate the other halves the next night in the apartment we stayed in! We love to go out to eat, but we were really happy to stay in and eat the pizza for a second night. Thanks for such an enjoyable experience!

We ordered pasta...it was not tasty..the onion was coarsely chopped and there was very little cheese and meat..only tomato sauce...the presentation was not beautiful....just decorated with arugula....I don’t recommend it

Lovely food. We went for dinner after arriving in Belfast for a couple days. Wanted somewhere reasonably nice but still a nice sit down evening meal. Servers were friendly and fast. The food was delicious and filling. We had non alcoholic cocktails which were amazing! Defo a stand out from all the other restaurants around!

Visiting Belfast for the day and found this pizza express next to the city hop on hop off bus. The pizza was really good, very tasty and lots of favour. Reasonably priced, good service and friendly staff

Pretty disappointed. Pizza was oily and burnt round the crust. They gave us our drinks and it looked like they gave us half a bottle of what we asked for (poured our drinks for us). On a positive note the waitresses seem to be lovely and think their talents are wasted here. Severely overpriced for bland and tasteless food. Couldn't even finish. Won't be back...

Such a lovely meal here - great service and food was delicious! Can do all pizzas with a gluten free base and there were gf dessert options too, lemon cheesecake was fab!

The pizza was delicious, I loved it. The restaurant is right on the city center, very convenient.

While on a short visit to Belfast recently we ate in here based on the positive reviews. Booking a table through the app was very straightforward. One of the staff overheard that it was going to be our son's birthday the next day and they went out of their way to make a real fuss of him. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Great quality food, fantastic service, nice decor. Thank you Pizza on the Square.

Staff and service were very good, music was a bit loud, pizza was OK, bit soggy but not very tasty. Don't think I will be back.

Was welcomed in with a smile. Kerrie served us and was very pleasant. Good was excellent and huge portions. Thankfully a box could be provided for left overs. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend.

The base! The dough these guys use make one of the best pizza bases I've ever had! Nice atmosphere, servers were friendly and helpful, not the cheapest, but £90 for 3 people, all had starters, mains and 2 or 3 drinks each isnt too bad

Menu does not have a great variety of pasta only 2 dishes! The pasta I got was over cooked and was sent back and asked to be taken off my bill. Pizza was average to say the least, not an Italian to be seen in this restaurant. I would avoid this fake Italian restaurant and look for something authentic that can cook proper Italian food. Extremely disappointed

Although not an automatic Italian restaurant, the pizza was really good. The meatballs were over cooked and rather spicy. The Tiramisu was served more like a slice of cake, but was good. Service was excellent, thanks to Alex and staff.

Stopped here with my family before heading to the airport. Carol our server was nothing but lovely and attentive and the food was great! Would definitely recommend!

We popped in yesterday without a booking and luckily managed to get a table for 6. Our whole experience was perfect the staff were so lovely and friendly and the food was GORGEOUS. We all had various mains, desserts and drinks and the bill was so reasonable too. Thank you! ❤️

Really excellent overall. Great location just opposite City Hall in a beautiful old building with lots of character. Staff were very pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us. Piazza was excellent- best in Belfast by a mile . Very good value also. Would highly recommend

We ordered two lemon cheesecakes, which were very tasty. However, each was £6.50 and the slice was small for that much. We still ordered a strawberry daiquiri, which was good, but it was also expensive.

A great place to eat, after a busy day exploring the city. Conveniently located in the centre of the city. Pizza had a good base and was tasty, accompanied by a nice refreshing beer.

Great pizza in a great location, just fancied a good pizza in a central location at a reasonable price...the pizza's were loaded with tasty toppings and the mozzarella was as it should be chewy and stretchy. Service was good, had starters each and shared a large pizza washed down with red wine and bill was very reasonable for a city centre eatery.

It was a very spontaneous and probably the best decision to have dinner here whilst exploring Belfast with my father. Booking wasn’t required despite busy weekend afternoon & lovely staff led us to our table. Elegant interior with old photographs. Wide range of foods and drinks, delicious wine recommended by our lovely server Christina who not only told us about food but also recommended places to see in Belfast! She’s a real superstar and she made us feel very welcome. Pizza was perfect, so as the atmosphere! We will definitely come back next time we’re in the city! Thank you for making our Belfast experience so unforgettable.

I came to this place without knowing what to expect. The pizza was one of the best I had and the service excellent, highly recommend!!

Although the staff were lovely, I'm sorry to say but the food was awful. The garlic bread was burnt and flavourless and the pizza was tasteless and really chewy. I wouldn't eat here again. But the staff were kind and polite.

We had a wonderful lunch on Saturday. We were seated straight away and ordered promptly. The food came out hot and delicious. The restaurant was buzzing and had a good atmosphere - we will return.

2nd visit to this classy independent Italian. Promptly shown to a lovely quiet table where we ordered drinks from the extensive cocktail menu. We shared the spicy wedges and dough balls as we fell in love with them the first time we visited. Food is always piping hot and really flavoursome. Attentive staff in a lovely location overlooking the town hall. 10/10 would recommend.

Been meaning to eat here on previous visits to Belfast, so this time managed it. The restaurant was well populated with diners of all ages. Calzone was on the menu so instant choice made. Good variety of toppings available (unfortunately, not a diablo). Peroni on draught to wash it down. Pizzas were very good, service excellent and friendly and ambiance was nice. Would definitely return. Some folks were taking pizza boxes home with leftovers, no such need on our table, clean and empty plates here!

The good was nice enough, nothing spectacular. It was massively overpriced.

Despite the restaurant's pleasant ambiance and fantastic location, the flat beer priced at £6.50, subpar Bruschetta with low-quality tomatoes, and a double pepperoni pizza falling short of authentic Italian standards were disappointing aspects of the overall experience. However, the staff's friendliness remains a positive note.

First came here exactly 2 years ago, I live in Southern Ireland and I was in Belfast for a concert. Myself, my partner and our friend came in here for dinner before we headed to concert. Food was gorgeous, wine was so cold and crisp! Staff chatted to us about concert and our trip. So warm and welcoming. Each time we have come back to Belfast since (4 times), we always come in here to visit and to really relax over a lunch or dinner.... Will be back, again and again!

Not enough glasses brought, drinks not brought, pepper/ cheese / salt not offered or on table. Bill thrown on table without a word. Nice atmosphere, simple menu. Wouldn't have left a review but the bill thriwn on table was just rude

My first time at 'Pizza on the Square ' was excellent. Located just facing the Belfast City Hall, this Pizza restaurant opens early in the day! You can book a table or walk in and get seated. The rooms are warm and cosy, this place is perfect to warm yourself up quickly. The service is amazing. The pizzas are quite large so i recommend a 1 pizza per pair :) 😊 however you can ask for a pizza box to take home any slices or pizza and the staff provide you with a box. 😊 They have a drinks menu which contains alcohol, tea, coffee, Irish coffee and soft drinks. Overall a very comfortable and relaxing warm atmosphere. Delicious pizzas!! 🍕

Pizzas were fine but no dips or sides arrived with with them, even after we asked several times. When we finished the mains we were offered the dessert menus, 15 mins later and no dessert menus. I mean, how hard can it be? It wasn't to busy either. In the end we complained and they gave us the sides and dips for free, which was fine. P.s They burnt the Arabiata but we ate it as we were starving. Forgot to get a pic.

A classic Italian dinning place. A real good place to try in the centre of the city of Belfast. Loved the ambience, food and hospitality. Highly recommended!!

We popped in on Thursday night and the restaurant wasn't very full. Lots of tables and very close together, would have b rn very uncomfortable if it had been busier. Wine served I. A dirty glass and dirty cutlery on table. Both were quickly and graciously replaced, onced I'd tracked down the server to get his attention. We had a Milano pizza, wedges and meatballs to share. The food took a good 20/25 minutes to come. The pizza was fine, nothing special at all, the wedges were just frozen jobs but the meatballs came to the table stone cold. To be fair when we passed that on when our table was cleared apologies were made and they were deducted from the bill. The worst part though was that we were plagued the entire time by a barrage of tiny fruit flies. When one of them dive-bombed into my last half glass of wine we gave up and left. On way out the girl at the till tried to charge us for someone else's bill. There are so many better places in Belfast to eat, I wouldn't waste my time here again. Go to Orto instead

Disinterested staff, little atmosphere, felt like sitting in a takeaway, bang average food, bruschetta limp, pizza ok, calzone dry. Left feeling disappointed overall.

We had a really good build-your-own pizza, and one pizza is perfect for two people. The service was great and prices were reasonable.

Bit underwhelmed to be honest. Pizza was good if a bit thick and soggy in places but very tasty and lots of topping. Staff were friendly but didn’t seem too clued up or maybe new. We had a cocktail which should have come over crushed ice, as described, but instead came with a couple of ice cubes floating it so wasn’t well chilled. We asked for black pepper and Parmesan to season the pizza. This seemed to take ages to be brought, which turned out to be due to them having to go away and get 2 wee plastic bowls to serve it in. An Italian / pizza restaurant without a pepper grinder, surely not . Not very eco friendly and definitely a rather odd experience to be served a wee bowl of coarse lay ground pepper to sprinkle on my pizza. As I said Perhaps staff are new / inexperienced, don’t know.

Everything was excellent, in my opinion though it was more expensive than it should be. I would've given 4.5star but 4 felt a bit rough. A couple dollars less per pizza and it's a 5.

Good variety of pizzas. Small menu overall but food is done well. Good selection of alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

Siamo andati a mangiare perché alle ore 21 era l’unico posto dove a Belfast si poteva mangiare ( purtroppo in Irlanda spesso i locali servono la cena fino alle 21.15). Pizza con impasto che sembrava non lievitato abbastanza e la cottura non era perfetta ..sotto bruciata. La coca cola era calda.

Went here for dinner. The location is great. Had vegetarian pizza, veg pasta, garlic bread supreme. Service was very good, staffs are friendly and welcoming. The best part was food. One of the best neapolitan pizza I have had in Belfast. The crust had the perfect texture, mozzarella cheese with the tomato sauce were cooked to perfection. It was a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in Belfast. A must visit.

Came in for a quick dinner, as we were driving past Belfast. Asked the waiter for any chance to get a table for two, the answer was all is reserved. Asked for a take away pizza, and we have been given a menu. As we were reading the menu a guy showed up and asked to eat in as well… and got a table straight away… seeing that, we just left the place immediately ((
