Pizza Express - Kings Lynn in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Very delicious food and didn't have to wait too long, even on a busy evening! Staff were very helpful with requests to add or change things on dishes.

Pizza Express in King's Lynn is far superior to other restaurants where we have eaten. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the generous portions always served piping hot.

First time I have been here. Very nice, and i will be back again.

Ordered the mac and cheese lovely on the outside but really cold on the inside. My starter the American hot doughballs was a complete shambles I thought it would be something spicy in the doughballs not everything crammed in at once. Very soggy. And when they asked for my mains I asked for a romana American hot and usually they ask what peppers I would like but they didn’t. I suddenly remembered I wanted just jalapeños on my pizza so before they bought my pizza out I asked them politely and the chefs got really funny. All and all very disappointed I expected better as I been there loads of times and always had a great time but today very disappointed

Easy family dinner, and always get a good meal at Pizza Express. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive. Good service throughout and kids enjoyed the food as did we.

Our autism carers group got together for a pizza making session . Ethan was as usual the brilliant host and Chef mentor . He makes everything such fun and we always feel so welcome . We all had a brilliant time and the food and service were excellent as always

Hot chocolate was basically water go them to re do it was still water and food took ages even tho there was 4 people in there one of the poorest ones I’ve ever been too

The food that I had payed for was bland with not a great deal of flavour, to top it off the pizza itself had hardly no sauce base, so you could just imagine how dry every slice would be. There were hardly any toppings along with the dough being cooked for just a minute it seemed. Appalling food from pizza express.

Delivery time kept changing. Food was cold when it arrived. Driver at restaurant for a very long time so not sure what the delay was.

We had a birthday party at your restaurant on Saturday with Ethan and another male staff member. They were fantastic from start to finish. Couldn’t do enough for us as parents or the kids. There were 30+ people in our group and they made it seamless. They really deserve recognition for their attentiveness, personal approaches and their way with the kids. We cannot thank them enough for making our son’s birthday so special.

Attended a children’s party today with my grandchildren, Ethan,Stewart and colleagues made it a great experience for all of the children well done guys 👍🏻

This review has to be expected. Arrived at 20.25 for our 20:30 booking to absolute carnage. Obviously they took bookings way over capacity and could not honour our booking or many many other bookings. The restaurant, lobby and outside street was rammed with people who had booked and could not be served. Completely ruined our New Years Eve as could not get in anywhere else. Very let down and would be interested in their explanation. Credit should go to Paisley who was left on her own to deal with the fall out on her own after, I presume the useless Manager,, shrugged his shoulders and simply walked away from the mess!

Busy day so expected delay I suppose. Food was great when got here. Driver very nice also :)

Yesterday we visited Pizza express in King's Lynn. Even though it was a Monday you could tell there were a lot of people. Even though there were not many staff in the team they coped brilliantly and were very helpful. Ethan helped me with my Tesco vouchers as I had a problem, he calmed my worries in a few seconds. Reinis was great as our waitress and together with the super helpful Ethan they made a good team. I was impressed with the chef Paisly who was cooking all by himself that day for a large group of people. I don't know the name of the other member of the group who joined later, he was also very nice and helpful. All the food was really nice, waiting time despite the large number of guests is satisfactory. Thank you and we will definitely be back :)

We visited earlier today for a Pizza Making event as a group booking of 10 autistic young adults and their carers. I cannot put into words how much fun we all had. It was perfectly organised, relaxed and upbeat. Ethan, our Chef, talked us through every step and was so patient and respectful of his captive and complex audience. We couldn’t go wrong with our attempts, what looked a disaster going off to the oven was presented to us looking very professional!! I’m sure it tasted delicious but wasn’t offered a slice by my pizza loving ravenous son 🤣 I genuinely cannot praise this branch enough. Biggest shout out goes to Ethan who could not have made it a more enjoyable experience. 5 stars 🌟

Just been to a pizza making party with WNAG and had a fabulous time. Ethan and all the staff were super friendly and helpful and made the whole event extremely enjoyable. Would highly recommend 👌

You call that £4.95 worth of chips 😂 They were also burnt. Mains were nice but not paying a fiver for 10 burnt chips.

We had a great meal here with family. The food was great and so was the service! At the start it was very loud in the restaurant, but this didn’t last! The menu was great with plenty of choice. Definitely a good place for a meal and the price is not too high either!

We had a family gathering on the 13 th December . Our waiter Stuart was excellent helpful , friendly , nothing was too much trouble . And was very good with my grandchildren . Food was excellent and value for money . Will be definitely go back again

Food is always great, you can always guarentee a good meal. Atmosphere is always busy but good. The served has served us the last couple of time as we have been big tables. Stuart has always served us and has been a fantastic hoste, always goes above and beyond to make it great. Thank you :)

A lovely Pizza Express in a lovely location. On this occasion, really well decorated for Christmas. We requested a table by the window as the street is really nice outside. Ethan the manager was lovely and helpful, the food was served really quickly and was Oh so tasty. The snowball doughballs are the best thing I have put in my mouth in a long time.

I had a great experience visiting this place, the waitress was very helpful and nice, I think his name was Ethan. My food was cooked by lovely chef Marina, food was warm and quick cooked.I enjoy the atmosphere of this place .

Delivery was very late, the food was cold, the pizza express printout shows delivery at 17:53 we didn't receive the pizza until 18:40 Very disappointed with the service, not sure if it was Pizza Express or the delivery driver, but something clearly went wrong.

The delivery time changed twice by a few minutes but it was worth the wait. The food was delicious and piping hot and cooked all the way through.

The manager Ethan was very helpful and had a great experience all round

My partner and I had a wonderful evening! Ethan and Stuart made our evening so special. So attentive and helpful when my partner wanted no onions on his pizza.

We have been going to pizza express in Kings Lynn for years and enjoyed the whole experience. It seems that the portion size has become smaller.

Really excellent service. Nothing too much trouble without over crowding us. Enjoyed Pandana pizzas.

The menu doesn't state these things so I will for the nation... Calzone Pizza are child size portions no bigger than a Ginsters Cornish Pasty, an adult male could eat two and don't be fooled by the 'comes with salad' as it comes with a few leaves of dry rocket, at £18 this tiny but tasty pizza was upsetting. The Classic pizza unless you upgrade to Romana base or large classic, it again is child size portion no bigger than them tiny Chicago town pizzas, barely 9 inch and also for £18 this was upsetting. The menus should really state in closed brackets (small portions) where appropriate to avoid upset and avoid receiving reviews like this. The staff and decor of the restaurants are always nice, it's just these child size portions for £18 they need to address. Basically if you want a decent pizza and dont want your evening ruined, have a Romana base and the rest of the pizza's aren't worth the ink on the menu unless your elderly or 5 year old

We absolutely love visiting this restaurant to the point that we had our wedding reception here. Ethan and Valerie always make us feel very welcome alongside other staff. Would recommend everybody to visit here.

King's Lynn Saturday market place restaurant is by far the best restaurant. In our job we do a lot of travelling and visit many pizza express but our home town King's Lynn is the best!!

Visited on 1st Nov for a meal with the family. It was our first time dining in at Pizza Express. First impression, what a cosy and warm place! Staff were very welcoming and big thanks for letting us in half an hour early before our booked slot! (brownie points ⭐️) Service was absolutely fantastic! Our waitress, Sandra, was great. An error had occurred on the handset device which meant we had to redo our orders but she remembered most of it & she was very informative when we asked about portions/serving sizes. Order was spot on and no issues - this is a credit to Sandra ensuring she has double checked with us. The restaurant was full but we didn’t long until ours got served. Fresh & delicious! Overall, a really nice ambiance compared to the Peterborough branch. It was a welcoming-vibe, friendly and helpful staff. Location: Parking wasn’t an issue, loads to choose from. NCP Church Street or Saturday Market Place and only a short walk away. Thank you for your service. We enjoyed the meal last night and we will definitely come back. 👍🏽 🎆

Valerie in kings Lynn looked after us so well for my son’s birthday. Nothing was too much and checked on us throughout making sure my 3 younger ones had everything they needed also. Greeting at the door was wonderful by a gentleman I didn’t get the name of. Food was yummy as always- thank you

I came in to do a pizza takeaway and the staff could not have been nicer. They took my order and asked me to take a seat at a nearby table while I waited. They also offered us water or drinks if we wanted while we waited. The pizza was ready soon, the staff member even got us extra dips when we asked. Honestly, the staff surprised us with their kindness even for a small takeaway order.

Came here for lunch with my daughter to celebrate her birthday. Our food was cooked to perfection - one of the best padana pizza's I've ever had. Our server Ethan was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall a very pleasant experience!

The manager was very attentive and look dashing in his waist coat. Doing a great job of filling the shoes of the previous Manager who was awesome as well 🤗

I think it’s a bit expensive for what you get. The chicken wings were tiny and black (£6.85!) only 4 of them. No cutlery included for the mac n cheese 🤷🏼‍♀️ but the drinks were nice and cold 👍🏼

The mac&cheese was uncooked. Anable to eat after waiting 3 hour unfortunately!

The potatoes wasn’t worth the money .They didn’t even cover the bottom of the box and they were cold . Expensive meal for what there was

As always an excellent meal, didn't book this time but managed to be seated quickly, the staff as always very friendly, always nice to see the banter between the staff, shows a good team. When our waiter, Stuart I think his name was, found out we had a birthday in the group he brought the desert out with candles and he and the manager Ethan singing happy birthday (almost in tune). It's that little extra which make this a great place and keep me coming back.

Pizza Express is my home from home. The team are just fantastic led by Ethan the pizza loveliness is off the scale. So, why do I love it so much? This team will always go the extra mile to make your dining experience the best it can be - so why wouldn’t you go for it ?

Today we had the most amazing staff member Ethan was superb , , we had my 8 year old granddaughter birthday 🎂 party at the restaurant nothing was too much trouble and he was amazing with the children , the other staff were also friendly and smiley , would highly recommend here for taking the stress out of your birthday party, Thank you Ethan 😀

Tip for staff: acknowledge someone whose been waiting to be served/seated for 5 minutes before they’re forced to leave. Didn’t happen on this occasion. Spent the money elsewhere and won’t be back!

Absolutely shocking! The restaurant was fairly empty with few diners. Having not been to Pizza express since 2018, we decided to try it out, to say disappointed is beyond the word. The manager looked asif he didn't want to be at work, not really greeting customers. The food when it arrived 2 dishes being inedible. The carbonara looked appealing until you took a spoonful realising the pasta was cold, and was beyond being aldente, the pasta was raw... throughout the whole dish. The potato salad was inedible, (the potatoes were not cooked at all, you couldn't even use a fork to eat them). Overall the customer service or lack of was a shame along being the food. Wouldn't recommend and will avoid any future outings to this pizza express. (I do have videos and photos of the whole experience) and will pass them onto the customer service department

Not many people in so can't comment on atmosphere. Had lasagna which was very disappointing and very expensive but my husband had pizza which looked good, that also was expensive for a pizza.

At the end of a tiring day sightseeing King's Lynn, the Pizza Express sign was more than welcome as it was getting cold and I had fallen over. The tentative staff saw that I was a little shaken up so treated us to their new doughballs whilst I recovered my senses and perused the menu. It was early evening, so it was nice and quiet but a warm ambience enhanced by the variety of aromas wafting through from the usual open kitchen. Food was upto usual 5 star standard and so was service, cleanliness and overall presentation. A good advertisement for future visits to King's Lynn and other Pizza Express restaurants. Thank you to the servers for going just that little bit extra.

The restaurant was almost empty, but we weren't even allowed to carry our small dog through the restaurant to the garden. Apparently it's a company-wide policy. So we walked down the street to an independently owned restaurant where dogs are made very welcome not just in the outdoor space but in the restaurant itself (there's no law against dogs in restaurants in England: just in kitchens), with waterbowls, blankets and treats. We won't ever go to another Pizza Express, that's for sure.
